This is a scam! Do not order anything from Hoverboard Closeouts! It is pathetic that people would take advantage of parents trying to buy Christmas for their children!

It took 4 months but HoverboardCloseouts came through. A new hoverboard for my granddaughter. It works fine and all is good. Patience was required.

Same as everyone else no customer service skills, nobody will talk to you. They didn't send me what I ordered and they only responded to my email AFTER I told them I was disputing the charge to my credit card. I don't know who's running this business but it's a joke! DO NOT ORDER FROMORE THESE PEOPLE!

Bought 2 hover boards for Christmas for my daughters one works fine the other never worked straight out of the box I have called them almost everyday since the day after Christmas and still no resolution. I was told they would mail the return label and I would have it in 5-7 business days it never came now for the past month going on 2 I call and they say they have switched their return processing service to email return labels I still don't have one I'm calling my bank as well as any other consumer agency and reporting to the BBB I will file fraud with my bank as I still have my receipt along with an email saying they were sorry for my issues and someone would be contacting me to resolve my issue. That is just appalling that these are for children for Christmas and they have to suffer for it!

I placed an order with you them on 11-28-16, please note that their website states this exact language *Please note, all orders require up to 2 business days to process your order. Most orders ship within 24 hrs and.as of today 12-2-16, I still have not received a confirmation that it has been shipped nor have I received my package. This was a birthday present for my son and I am very disappointed. Not even a curiosity call or email to explain why there may be a delay, this is horrible customer service. As I see it this is false advertising and very misleading. They sure were quick to charge my Credit Card. I have tried to call and their hold times are 30 mins. I am an enforcement Paralegal and I think we need to file a claim against them for false advertising and misleading claims. Here my son waits for his birthday present and they cannot even respond to the several emails I have sent. Amazing how customer service is now days! I even placed a review on their site and amazing how they didn't place it on there.

Awful! Look elsewhere!

I ordered my hover board on Black Friday. The day after Thanksgivikg. 2-3 weeks later I received an email saying that the color I have picked was in high demand that if wouldn't mind changing the color. I sent an email saying that I would change the color and never hears anyhthing. I called week after week trying to get a status on my order and week after week I was told a different date that my package would shop and that it would be here for Christmas. I called again in Dec 23rd because my package did not arrive and for them to tell me that it won't be here Christmas and they are not sure when it will ship out. I was given the run around for a month and will know have sad kid come Christmas morning.

Their customer service is awful and would highly recommend that your purchase this product elsewhere!

Its a SCAM. I ordered 2. They take your money but never send the boards. BEWARE!

I am a single mother of 4 and I used the last little money i did have to buy these hoverboards for Christmas as gifts for my children. Now I have no money and no gifts for my kids. RESEARCH BEFORE YOU BUY!

Had I reaearched further I would've seen these reviews. I'm kicking myself now. Ordered Hoverboard as a present for my son from his grandfather for it to be delivered in NJ during his winter break on Dec 27th... Here it is the new year we have changed our flight 2 times waiting for it to be delivered and FedEx status shows Label Printed-Still in CHINA! I've been emailing daily, requested a refund threatened to report to BBB, local news and social media and now waiting AGAIN for a response! I have yet seen a phone contact from them online... without an answering service to 'leave a message'.
I'm beyond pissed and would've spent more money to see my child happy opening his gift in front of his grandfather instead of returning to NJ from TX again to retrieve this product!
Looks like enough people dissapointed to head to the media!

Ruinned Christmas

I placed my order with them 12/11 and according to their site it takes two days to process and then shipped out within 24 hours. I called and spoke with someone on 12/15 and was told it would not arrive until 12/27 or 12/28 and asked if I wanted to cancel my order. At this point I decided not to cancel hoping I would receive it before xmas. The next day I received an email with tracking info and per UPS site I should receive the package 12/20. I have been checking the status daily and realized nothing has changed. The company sent the info electronically to UPS but they do not have the package! I called yesterday to see what the hold up was and why my package has not been sent to UPS and they said the had a shipment going out today@ 5:00 PM and hopefully my package was going to be picked up at that time. Last night I checked UPS site to see if they have received it and of course they have not! I never expected to receive my package in a few days but 11 days is enough time as I have not had any problems with any other companies! Now my kids will wake up Christmas morning without the only thing they wanted for Christmas!

Stay away!

Ordered on 12/2 for a Christmas present, it is now 12/12 and still have not heard a word from them. When I check my order all it states is "we accepted your order and our getting it ready for you" it has said this for the past week. When I placed the order these reviews were not up yet but thankfully I found them last night and read them. When I checked my bank statement I noticed they have not taken any money out yet Thank God. Today I called the bank for a stop payment and am now on hold with hooverboardcloseouts to cancel my order. I'm sure they will not cancel it and still try to take the money out of my account, good luck to them lol. PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS BEFORE ORDERING AND STAY FAR AWAY FROM HOOVERBOARDCLOSEOUTS!

I just ordered the hover board off eBay for $209 plus $38 and some change for shipping. They shipped my order THE VERY NEXT DAY but these@$$holes claim they don't have them because of high demand? I received a e-receipt from pay pal, a order confirmation, a shipping confirmation with a UPS tracking number along with a estimated delivery date, like it's SUPPOSED TO BE. These broke motherf@&kers are a fraud. Run like HELL.

Ordered my Granddaughter a Board for Christmas. She was so excited. It came with no instructions or owners manual. We called and they said to charge it for 3 hours and they would email the manual with in 24 hours; We took it to the park. My Granddaughter is 11 and was going very slow when it shut off on her after 5 minutes of use and threw her on her face and she was injured. I called them right there and then. They said it was defective and I should be sent return labels via email to print within 48 hours. I have called every two days. Then they said 5 to 7 days I should see my labels. Two weeks later I was emailed the instructions! To make a ong sad story short... It has now been almost a month! I called today I sent 3 emails last week giving them until today to respond with a solution or I am going to contact an attorney as my Granddaughter was injured and her Christmas has been turned upside down as she watches all her friends using theirs and hers is defective and they are not following through! When I called today they told me they were just an answering service and I would have to call back tomorrow. Any one else in for a class action against this company?

Horrible customer service
December 26, 2016

I ordered 2 hovorboards for my grandchildren on November 27,2016. I was promised the hovorboards by Christmas Eve. They did not arrive and I had no presents for 2 of my grandchildren Christmas morning. When I called them on 12-26-2016, I was told they will be delivered tomorrow. The lady I spoke with did not even apologize. I'm very scared that the product is not going to be any good when I do receive it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY.

Well lets see! I ordered 11/25 2 hooverboards, December 25th great day my son was able to ride his hooverboard! January 5th by daughter came home from new York to do her Christmas! WHAT A $#*!ING JOKE, the hooverboard will not even turn on. If I wanted a refurbished hooverboard I would have bought that, instead I spent $50.00 more on a brand new one... I AM FURIOUS! They keep saying label is going to be sent... blah blah blah
Already started the claim from the bank
Contact BBB tonight!
I have given then 10 days and I am done!
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

HOW MANY COMPLAINTS WILL THEY GET BEFORE THEY SHUT THIS COMPANY DOWN?

Not only is it Xmas this Sunday but it's also my son bday ordered a hoover board 3 weeks ago they sent me a tracking number to track it but come to find out ups never got the package it never left the warehouse they just printed a label so it can show up in ups system smdh it's a shame how this is the worst company I ever delt with and I'm so distraught I can't get over it something gotta give now my order is cancelled and my son won't have his Xmas - Bday gift someone owe me answers ASAP or this company will pay this is inexcusable

For Christmas we bought two hoverboards from hoverboard closeouts and one of the hoverboards did not work right out of the box and the charger was broken. We tried charging the broken hoverboard with the one charger that did work, it would not charge. Because it had a little charge right out of the box my son had tried it and it wouldn't turn left. I have called 8 times since Christmas and am always told they are sending me a return label and that they will replace the hoverboard and charger, but we can't even get the return label sent out. I am always told it will be sent out within 5-7 days the last time I called they said they would send it out within the next 2 days (this was 3 days ago). We still have never received one. I am worried that if they can't even get a shipping label to us are they really going to replace it? My daughters hoverboard works great but it is sad that we spent good money for a hoverboard we can't even use and we can't get the label to return. I have thought about just sending it back myself but fear that they won't return the money or exchange it. I am at a loss and am ready to just buy my son a new one from another company. They are terrible. Terrible customer service, no one knows what the last person said to me. Everyone makes promises and never follow through. There is no reason a shipping label takes 5-7 days but I have been patient and giving them the benefit of the doubt but two months later this is ridiculous. Now their customer service number doesn't work and says to send an email. Well I have sent several emails and NO ONE will respond. I would not recommend them to anyone. EVER!

I purchased a Hoverboard on December 12,2016. I never received a shipping confirmation from them. I called their company 3-4 days later and they told me that they had ran out of the hoveboards and that they will not be charging me. To my surprise I was charged on December 22nd after they specifically told me i would not! I then called them and they said that they never told me they were out! I received the Hoverboard after Christmas with no Manual or shipping return label for any issues. This was odd to me! The stupid Overboard worked for 2 weeks then broke down! I called them on the issue. First call was made on January 23,2017. I spoke with Betsy she took my complaint and took my info and told me i will hear back from them within 3-4 days through email and expect a return label. I had no reason to doubt so i waited. 5 days later still no return label! Second call made on January 31,2017 I spoke with Hector and told him i had been waiting for a shipping label and he apologized and told me that it was still in process! I asked well how long does it take to create a label?! His response was you should receive it within 48 hours because i am personally going to go to the Managers office to push it through. This is bull crap! Third call was made on January 9 2017. I spoke with Hector! As soon as he answered my call i asked to speak with a Manager he immediately began to stutter... he could not even speak. Why because he was already getting caught in lies without even having the chance to lie! His first lie after being able to speak was my managers are in meetings due to the bad weather! Ok so what does that have to do with my shipping label! His second lie was i am going to speak with my Manager personally when he walks out of his meeting! His third lie was when he tried to tell me that my email was incorrect in their system! Wow really! He also had the nerve to say that he could not promise me any date or time for the Managers call back! This is ridiculous! After reading all the bad reviews i sure wish i would have read them first before throwing away money! They toke advantage of people! Cheap $#*! company! Please help us shut them down! This is not ok. We have kids with broken hearts!
