I purchased two hoverboards from cyber monday 11/28/16. I kept calling and calling and finially got a tracking number on 12-08-16. I thought everything was going to be okay and then the box only had one in it. After I received this one on 12-10-16, I called them and said my order was shipped and received. I said no, i only received half my order. I have sent 4 emails with no reply. I called on 12-10-16 and was told that I should have another tracking number on the 12th. It is now the 14th and I still only have 1 board. When I called back today they told me that support was not taking calls but that she would send a message. Seems to me that they may have a company running interference for them so that they don't have to talk to customers because everyone I talk to can't give me any information other than a tracking number. I am about to try and cancel the second one and if not, I will return the first one for someone else to get and I will dispute the charges on my card. Man it is horrible for a shipped in 2 days advertisement they had.
Well here we are January 6th and we still haven't received our 2nd hoverboard from our order placed on cyber Monday. What a joke this company is. We have contacted them NUMEROUS times to be told "you will receive an email" HA HA HA... NO YOU WON'T! You won't receive a darn thing from them. No refund, no board no NOTHING. We were going to return the one we did receive but NOPE we probably won't receive a refund on that one and we will be out the full amount. Do NOT I repeat DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE QUICK TO TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT NOT DELIVER THE GOODS! We have already filed with the BBB in new Jersey. I hope they JERKS get closed down!

Order 12/5/16 and today I had still not received a shipping confirmation so after being on hold numerous times both me and my husband, he finally gets through... JERRY answers the phone... gives me plenty of excuses of delays from being busy with order and gives me dates of when I will get my tracking and product... then later blames it on UPS... I work for a warehouse( we have 3 total for our company and over 50 stores) I know how it works. You get a label as soon at your create a shipment. UPS, FEDEX, USPS! And I made sure he knew he wasn't fooling me! He also says he can not contact his California thats BS once again! We have phone and email access to all our locations and use them daily! I finally had enough of his crap and requested a refund and still not receiving my confirmation for that we call back and he says it'll all be 24 hours... I had my refund within 30 minutes! It never completely went through to begin with always said pending transaction.
OH and when I double checked "JERRY'S" name he said GABRIAL! And when my husband called back he answered as JERRY and when he questioned him he hung up! HA what a dang JOKE! I will be reporting this to the BBB! DO NOT ORDER!

This is by far the worse company to deal with. I tried cancelling my 2 orders for hoverboards, and was told that they were cancelled. I noticed the pending charges on my debit card was gone, so I was happy. Just to see 2 weeks later they recharged my account for both the hoverboards. I called them daily asking them what happened, and was assured that the hoverboards weren't shipped yet, and they wold make sure the wasn't shipped, but both did get shipped. They put a do not return to sender on them, so I had to call UPS, and set up where they would sit at the store for 5 days. Then, they woold be shipped back automatically. Once they seen what I did to the first order, they changed the hold at UPS facility on the second order, and acted like me and said I decided I wanted it shipped to my home instead of the hold at the ups store. The item showed up on my porch, so I had to talk to the supervisor at UPS, and explain that I never called to lift the hold, so they sent a driver to come back and pick the package up. It's been 26 days since I first cancelled these orders, and still no refund. They got the hoverboards back, and nothing yet. Don't try calling or e-mailing them because they don't reply or you only get and answering service that will say they will email them. Had to get Capital One involved, so hopefully I will get my money back. WORST COMPANY EVER!
Ordered hoverboard on Dec 5, received Dec 21. It's works great, my 9 year old daughter has been riding it like crazy. Awesome purchase for the price!
Purchase a Hoverboard through Hoverboard Closeouts for kids Christmas gift. No instructions, no SKU or model # on it to check if it's been a recall board (many companies are recalling them due to catching on fire causing injury and in one case, house burnt down). The customer rep didn't even know what a model # was, nor did she know that name of her manager. Shame on me for buying a $400-$500 product through Hoverboard Closeouts at a deep discount! I am not surprised at this company's service. What was I thinking, but it is NOT OKAY to conduct their business ILLEGALLY! Numbers to call: The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) protects consumers from scams like this *******357 or you can also call your state's consumer protection division. Colorado's Consumer Protection # is: *******444. NOTE: If you continue to use your Hoverboard, don't ever leave it unattended while charging and make sure it doesn't get too hot. Lithium batteries are under investigation. Some reputable companies (NOT Hoverboard Closeouts) are replacing the lithium battery with "UL Approved" batteries. These are the only batteries that are considered safe.
I almost wrote a bad review because of the people before me with no such luck. But I received a hover board on Friday December 23rd!
I REGRET for buying from these THIEFS! I called this company over 50 times in the past 35 days. Can We Sue this company. If I have an option I will do it right now. GARBAGE.

I SUBMITTED MY ORDER ON 12/10, WITHOUT DOING MY RESEARCH MIGHT I ADD. FOR SOME REASON I WAS HAVING A BAD FEELING AND I TOLD MY HUSBAND I WAS GOING TO CANCEL THE ORDER. ON MONDAY I CALLED FINALLY GOT THROUGH SPOKE TO A "RECEPTIONIST" NAMED SILVIA I REQUESTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER STATED THAT SHE SENT THE REQUEST BY EMAIL ASKED FOR A CONFIRMATION NUMBER COULDN'T PROVIDE ONE BUT DID STATE THAT I WOULD RECEIVE MY REFUND IN 25 TO 48 HOURS. CALLED BACK 5 MORE TIMES SPEAKING TO JOHN, HECTOR, ANOTHER JOHN THEN BETSY TWICE ALL WHICH BASICALLY GAVE ME THE RUN AROUND EACH STATING THE CANCELLATION REQUEST WAS NEVER SUBMITTED ASKED BETSY HOW COULD IT NOT BE WHEN SHE SAID ON TUES. SHE WAS SUBMITTING IT AND IT IS NOW THURSDAY. SHE THEN BECAME VERY VAGUE THREW IN THAT THERE WAS A TRACKING # ADVISED HER THAT THERE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN A TRACKING NUMBER BECAUSE SUPPOSEDLY SHE CANCELED THE ORDER BUT SINCE THERE WAS ONE THAT MEANT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING BECAUSE JUST BECAUSE THERE IS A TN DOESNT NECESSARILY MEAN THAT THEY ARE GONG TO SEND ANYTHING. I HAVE FILED A DISPUTE WITH MY BANK, Praying we get our money back, this is so sad I really regret not doing my research! I Pray that everyone either gets their boards or refunds!
