Not that great

My mom ordered 2 hover boards before I researched the company. I came across this page and almost got sick after I read the reviews. I called my mom got the order number and all the info I would need so I could cancel. I called them cancelled the order and the woman told me it would take about 72 to process the cancellation order. She couldn't give me the confirmation number but I received an email. I received my refund of 392.00 about a week later. I don't believe it's a scam because if it was I would not have got the money back. I just believe they need someone else to run this business or get more ppl to work.

I think it's they way the order is processed it takes a whole week for the order to process and your money is put on hold then taken off your card when they ship the order they use ground shipping so it is tracked differently but I was able to track my order and every time I spoke with someone they answered I ordered my hover board on 12/06/16 and received it today

Can"t get a return label
February 2, 2017

I have been calling for a month to get a return label for defective board bought for Christmas. Every time I call I am told it will be next week or 5 business days. They allegedly have a 30 day money back guarantee. I just wanted a replacement board. Now I just want my money back. DON'T BUY FROM THEM.

I purchased a hoverboard for my daughter for Christmas 2016 and it did not work. They said they were going to send me a shipping label in 3 days and its already 1/30/2017 and still no label. I asked for a refund and they told me to wait 3 days for that and nothing yet. When asked to speak to management I was told their phones and not equipped to transfer calls. Spoiled my 9 year old daughters Christmas.

Legit no problems at all

I ordered a board from the guys and actually got it on time. Its goin on a month now and the board is still going strong. The kid rides it everyday for hours on end. He is 9 and used it without instructuons, very easy to use.

I ordered my board on the first... by the 7th I started reading all these reviews and got really nervous so I canceled this past friday. I called back yesterday and they said they couldn't cancel because the order had already been shipped. I tracked it, it said it would be here today and got here today. They were never rude to me but stated they got a little bit in over their heads with the orders. I hope everyone gets their issues resolves and has a merry Christmas.

I bought a Hoverboard as a Chris gift. The charger was not in the box. I have called several times for weeks now to no avail. All representoves tell me they will get this information to Customer Service and someone will contact me. I still cannot get anyone to contact me back or mail the charger. The Hoverboard is useless without the charger. Do not order from this company.

I had the exact same problems with my purchase. I called everyday for a week and got a new BS response each time I called. I called my bank (Bank of America) and disputed the charge. I called and told this company that I had disputed the charge and to make sure my order was cancelled. They said ok, then 3 hours later I got an email with my tracking number. At this point I had already purchased the hoverboards from somewhere else. I called and emailed and told them that they shouldn't ship the boards since I cancelled my order, but the next day I had my shipment delivered, which I refused and had sent back to them.

If you are thinking about buying from this company, DO NOT DO IT.

If you are waiting for an order, dispute the charge and go buy it elsewhere.

Terrible service

Purchased 2 boards, one worked one did not sent emails and have called, Waiting for shipping to issue a ups Call Tag still waiting, its been fustrating, UPS does not take that long to issue a call tag, they Lie Lie Lie Still waiting for customer service to reply have never had one accomplishment to an email yet

The exact thing has happened to me., took the money but the site side Avs not accepted from card saying the billing address on card not the same... call 4x took my info said it should be back on the card never has come back on my card

The worst company ever! Horrific customer service, Funny the person on the phone says they have no boss. They robbed me with $328.00. It has been alnost 3 weeks since I cancelled order and I ordered it on black friday. I would order off a ligit website, I have to call bank and BBB.

I Recieved it 1 day early

I am very happy about my purchase I gave plenty of time for delivery due to the fact I believe I ordered it the 30th of Nov and it arrived today on the 22 of December. It was fully charged and my son was extremely excited and happy about his gift.

I ordered a hoverboard for my husband as a Christmas present on November 26th 2016. I called the company about one week later the check the status of my order because I didn't receive any shipping information but my credit card was charged. I spoke to someone and their customer service department who could barely speak English. I thought it was a scam at this point. I was told that I should receive shipping information within the next two days and that my order was taking so long because hoverboardcloseouts.com received a ton of orders and they were pretty much backlogged. I researched the company and saw a ton of reviews claiming that they were a scam. At this point I was in repair mode and panicking because I thought I gave my credit card information to a scammer. To make a long story short, I received the hoverboard almost 3 weeks later. It was in good condition, fully charged, perfect! Would I order from this company again? No. But I am happy that it is not a *******@xclrb

I ordered a board on November 28th. I received the board on December 12th. The board and charger were in the box. My son opened it this morning and it worked for about an hour before we had to charge it. It is charging now. My only complaint as of now is that there is no manual or warranty information. I emailed them for that information.

I purshased a hoverbroad from Hoverbroad closeouts for my daughter for Christmas. The hoverbroad does not work I have been unable to get a shipping label to return the broad I have calling since 12/28/2016 nothing yet! The web site states hassle free nothing about this has been has free! I'm stuck with a broken broad and no refund

Unbelievable. After waiting forever I talked to a rep that said it was shipped. Got the tracking number. UPS says it wasn't. Called back, waited again, and asked when it would be shipped. Was told they don't know why UPS hadn't picked it up yet. When I said that was an absurd claim considering my company uses ups all the time, and asked him when it would be ready for pickup, he said it should be picked up yesterday. Called again today, they said they couldn't give me a shipment date. Cancelled order, will be reporting them to the BBB.

My review is similar to others. I did receive the hoverboard in time for Christmas but it never worked properly. It will go for a less than a minute but then stop and will not turn on again until it is re-plugged into the outlet which apparently resets something. There was no manual or other documentation included in the box. I contacted support by phone on December 26th, 27th, January 5th and 12th. Each time I was told that I would get an email with a shipping label and instructions for returning. Nothing yet... I also emailed customer support on January 6th and 16th but have received no response at all.

I'm upset with myself for not doing my due diligence prior to purchasing from this company. I've contacted my credit card company to see if my purchase can be covered under my purchase protection or guaranteed return benefits.

I stumbled across hoverboard closeouts one night when I was shopping for a hoverboard for my 8 year old grandson that lives with me and my husband.
I ordered 1 refurbished black hoverboard on the 12th of December 2016, when it finally came late on the 27th of December it didn't even work. I promptly got in contact with the company and was given a case # and assured it was no problem to replace or refund the board. Now it is April 16th of 2017, and we still have the broken board, can't get in touch with the company and won't answer our emails. I'm extremely pissed. Whatever you do. DO NOT ORDER FROM HOVERBOARD CLOSEOUT.COM, THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR PROMISE TO REPAIR OR REPLACE the board... And trust me it will not work when you get it
