I ordered a hover board for my son for christmas which was also his 10th birthday from hoverboardcloseouts.com on December 3,2016. All over there website they advertise fast and free delivery! They also state that your shipment will be sent within 2 days. So I received a order confirmation via email on Saturday December 3,2016 and then I never heard back from them until My husband contacted them Via email on 12/15/2016 and they then provided us with a tracking number through UPS. The order information stated at that time that the delivery date was unavailable. It stayed this way from 12/16/2016 and it still says the same. I contacted the company via email and phone multiple times. The first time my husband was told that the order was on its way. The second time we were told that our order was shipped and to check with ups. UPS then informed us that the company never shipped the product to them and all they did was print out a shipping label.The third time we were told that there was a mix up at the warehouse with labels and our order would be shipped within a week. The fourth time we were told that the order was still at the warehouse and would be shipped soon, I then at this time asked for a refund because we were not going to be getting the gift in time. I was told that a refund would be sent back to my account within 72 business hours and I would receive a confirmation email about my refund request within 24 hours via email. I then waited 4 days and never got the confirmation email about my refund. So I called back complained and then again asked for my refund again and was told the same thing. So I waited and still never received and email about my refund. So I called again on 12/27/2016 and spoke with someone and requested a refund again. I was told the same exact thing! So I waited 24 hours again still no email still no refund! I had also asked several times to speak with a supervisor and was told that there was no way I would be able to speak to anyone they only have receptionist. I then called again today because I still have not received anything from them and they keep telling me they will refund my money and have yet to do so. I am very disappointed in this company. Not only are they false advertising they are taking advantage of people. This is the most unprofessional and scamming company Ive ever dealt with! I just want my money back! They should not be able to have a business License!
I ordered dec 3rd 6 pm i called once 11pm at night after a week & 3 days of no tracking num.( I was a little worried but i track stuff like this all the time*due 2 esty bussiness me and my husband run.)they were very nice when i said im not complaining just wondering & then litterally the guy was super nice. Explained 2 me that they had over soled on their stock in nj. They have 2 stores i found out 1 in California and 1 in new Jersey. So he explained it would ship from California since this was on cyber monday and they over sold. Over selling in bussiness means u must get more stock. Which is why my board shipped from California rather than new Jersey obviously because they had to get these hoverboards in stock from their other store in California as they were out of stock in New Jersey. I could tell this due to me being in the internet business, and the man that I spoke to on the phone also explained. We got the board today it was in great condition it's my husband's gift he loves it works 100%* you also do get a1yr warrenty contract. Had to wait 3 weeks but i didnt care. Wasnt a time sensitive thing for me. I looked today on google 2 see reviews and found this. I was completely shocked and thought well i got lucky. But maybe its just i wasnt time senstive or not aware of how things can get really backed up on cyber monday. Its not a scam but then agian my experience was amazing. Im not sure why and everyone elese seems so unhappy. I never belived it would be there in 2 days but figured 3 weeks or more. You can never tell when it comes 2 cyber monday when things will really ship. I also never got nervous and played it cool. Idk. For me snd my husband 5 stars. So just like the rest of you guys I ordered a hoverboard threw this company on December 1st. I received a confirmation email almost immediately. On the 5th of December I got an email saying the board was in its way to me. By the 9th I started wondering why I hadn't received it or why my tracking number threw UPS said it hadn't even moved from NJ. So I started to try to contact them threw email which I didn't get a response. I then called the number listed on the website. I spoke to a man who right off the bat was very rude to me. I asked what was going on with my purchase and all he could tell me was it would be delivered before Christmas and that he had no more info for me at all. I tried asking him if this was a scam and all he said was or should I say all he whispered was no. I then tried to ask for a supervisor and was told their was no one. So I got off the phone freaked out for a minute then called back and spoke to another guy and asked for a refund of my money he was very nice and said sure. He said I would see it back in my card by Monday the 12th. It is now Thursday the 15th still no refund and now my tracking email says it's all of a sudden coming from California and is on its way and should be delivered on the 16th. Well that is tomorrow and it hasn't left California yet. I bought this hoverboard for my 9 year old son who still believes in Santa. It's the only thing he asked for for christmas besides some toy cars and small things like that. What am I supposed to tell him on Christmas morning oh I'm sorry son I guess Santa didn't want you have it. What is wrong with these people that they would do this to kids at christmas time? I don't have the time or money to buy another hoverboard. I'm going to go report them to the FBI site and the bbb site also. This just isn't right!

12/02/16 I called to ask if they deliver to Alaska & this lady that I talk to said Yes! So me wanting to make sure, I asked her again & she said "they ship to all states n the US
SO that same day I tried to buy one of the Hoverborad's & it kept saying my card wasn't going through Witch was wired because I knew I had enough money. So I kept trying to purchase the item and yet again my card wasn't working for the transaction... so I called to speak to a customer service agent and he told me to make sure my billing address was the same as my card address & to try again. So I tried again and it still wasn't working. So I gave up & went online to view my banking account and that's when I noticed I had a NEGATIVE in my account and 3 pending transactions from this Hoverborad company
Yes I was mad because when I tried to purchase the item it was not accepting my card! SO WHY DID I HAVE 3 PAYMENTS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT? So I called the customer service agent back & he was basically apologizing and saying your money should be back on your card in 24 hours, he himself didn't know y it charged me and he also told me that they don't ship to Alaska... so he took my name, number, and email & said he'll send my info to the boss
12-3-16 I called them back because my money still hasn't posted back on my card This lady basically did the same thing and just took my info so that the boss could contact me And said the funds should automatically come back on my account in one or two business days...
12-05-16 I called them back because I still haven't heard from this "boss" that was suppose to contact me and basically the person took my info again to give to the boss and she said there's nothing they can do because my funds say pending not posted... so they don't have my money
#trust there's more to this story but I'm just going to say... don't order from here, bad service and they will take your money and claim that the boss from New Jersey will contact you to stop the pending transactions but that's a lie also... I'm 7 months prego and I basically had to go without money for days until my bank automatically cancelled the transactions
