SCAM!
December 14, 2016

Ordered my daughter a hover board only to read these reviews afterwards! So sick to my stomach as this was all she wanted for Christmas. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company but I'm out the budget for the gift until resolved. STAY AWAY!

They have a receptionist answer the phones who cannot answer questions about the status of your order. They claim via e-mail that the credit card payment didn't go through and that I should call my bank. I got no response in 3 days after telling them the bank has paid. I'm planning to dispute the transaction with the credit card.

We ordered an hover board for our 10 year old grandson for Christmas, still no board... They took the money from our account the same day the order was placed. November 10 th. I called and finally got to speak with someone and she said it will not be here for Christmas because they are backed up. When I ordered it I was told 2 to 4 business days. Do not order anything from here... It's an scam!

Do not buy from

I'd give negative stars if I could. Bought 2 for my kids for Christmas. Both were not working by the 27th. I've called and emailed about return labels. Same song and dance. They'll email the request. I still
Haven't seen or heard from them. I'm filing a dispute with my bank. Hope I can get my money back. This company is a scam. Let me know if anyone starts a law suit I'll be in.

NEVER SHIPPED MY ORDER!

I placed my order I never received any shipping information. I've send 8 emails they haven't responded to any of them. I've called and they tell you someone will call back with in 24 hours. I haven't received a call back. It looks like this place is a scam. I'm disputing the charge on my credit card now. His is a complete SCAM!

Not a scam
December 15, 2016

I ordered two boards on the second, than like everyone else here got freaked out because of no mails or responses from the company and than I found this review. The review made it worse could not sleep thought I got ripped off my kids Christmas gift... Today is the14 and received both boards, I think it's just an issue with the actual money clearing the banks...

THOUGHT IT WAS A SCAM

It took (3) weeks of calling & emailing, but i finally got the (3) boards that i ordered. They are very vague on when the order is coming, but i did get them. Just thought i let everyone know, cause i felt like i was being scammed.

I have had a good experience buying from Hoverboard Closeouts. We received the hoverboard on time and it was in great condition. (Refurbished). My son rides it everywhere and loves it! After about four months, we misplaced the charger. I sent an email asking if they have one and they send me one immediately, free of charge. I have been pleased with the quality of the merchandise and the customer service.

I ordered on cyber Monday and after I found this site I was mad cursing them out everyday. And today it came, they really was backed up. They should learn how to manage better they will get. Just happy I wanted it for my son birthday Dec 5 but I will save it for Christmas! Happy holidays hope everyone gets theirs before Christmas so the babies can be happy. It's coming

SCAM!

Ordered on 11/24 payment was processed right away. Called to check my order on the 4th said it would be out by the 12th and would receive email with tracking number. Have not heard a thing. Tried calling, emailing still nothing. I then tried calling at 2 am to see what would happen and someone actually answered the phone. Didn't help at all just said I'd get an email. This company needs to be stopped, a lot of people have spent good money only to be ignored. Definately will be reporting them.

Never again! This Company was the worst I've ever dealt with. I lost my daughter 3 years ago she left behind 3 boys. So I asked each one what would they like for Christmas the baby boy who is 11 wanted a Hover board he picked this site. I ordered 2 weeks in advance as. Here it is 3 days before Christmas the customer service sends me an Email saying we cancelled your order as requested. I did not cancel my order. If they knew they couldn't fill the order they should have said that in the first Place. Now my grandson will not have what he wanted because of this careless company. NEVER AGAIN!

First off I would not even give it one star but I have to rate it in some way. My hover board came completely damaged, I have spoken to their "answering service" and all they tell me is that they cannot accept any phone calls and that customer service only response to emails. Well I have emailed them many times and have gotten zero responses. It has been three weeks of them not contacting me and after reading the reviews I see what everyone is up in arms about. Do not buy from this scamming bull$#*! website!

Ordered on 11-28-16. Money was taken 12-1-16.12-8-16 days it has shipped. 12-14-16 one of them shows up not the two I ordered one. Called them on hold for three hours told me it was ups fault. Which is nonsense since the one I received said one package of one on it. They won't respond to my emails and tell me it's been shipped. But they have no tracking number.

Ordered two hoverboards on 12/5/16 they took my money never shipped they said it was in high demand and it won't be able to ship until the 12/15/16 when I woke up this morning my bank already credited back my account so I lucked out don't buy from this place!

Fraud, scam

Since i have last posted ive been in pursuit for a refund in regards to the extra hit they took from my account. I have contacted their local law enforcement and BBB! This is ridiculous. Please save your money and consider yourself warned do not buy from this company!

Dont buy

I am reporting them to the FBI (see link below). Its has been a month and no one answers the phone, no email responses, nothing.

If you google hoverboard, hoverboarder.com shows up, and that seems to be a scam. Not sure about hoverboardcloseouts. My story is like the others. I made an order, paid, never heard anything. Terrible phone service. So I went to my bank and found that the payment had not yet gone through. Still, I cancelled the order and that was the ONLY time they answered any emails. My guess is that the company is poorly run, with consequential bad service, and workers who are badly paid. Still, I found another hoverboard at local Best Buy. At least my son wont be disappointed at Christmas.

I ordered a hoover board but cancelled my order after reading all the bad reviews and it not being shipped almost 3 weeks later ordered another one from another website because I needed one under the tree on christmas morning but they never cancelled and I did receive it luckley for me I had a. Friend who I could sell it to because I ended up with 2 I don't think it's a. Scam I think maybe because they are.so cheap they are in high demand I have. 3 stars because after cancelling they still shipped.it

STAY AWAY

This was ALL my son wanted for Christmas... I was super excited to have found it. I thought it would be a great surprise under our Christmas tree... Boy was I wrong... How could you be so cruel and disappoint hard working parents and innocent children. Sites like this should be prohibited. I called to cancel the order after reading the reviews and the money was still drafted from my account. I don't have the time or the money to reorder before Christmas day...
