Keenford, LTD is the parent company of this and likely many more companies doing business in the US. I tried to find a list so I won't ever find myself providing money to such a corrupt entity. The site I accessed shows "dissolved" under the name. Rather than pay us back and taking this dangerous vehicle, they have chosen something which appears like hiding assets. I plan to contact Attorneys General rather than purchase $648.99 worth of their junk. I bought the Hoverboard for my grandson and would like to replace it with something better. But how do I determine that?

I can't believe that a company would not give their customers their money back on a recall or relace it with more of a like product... we trusted that their product was in compliance and it was not. I've been hung up on as well... I looked at the apparel and there is NOTHING that we want. I do NOT want to throw almost $800.00 away! What's next... legal action!

Very upset customer
July 14, 2016

I called to start my recall process for the hover board I purchased in December... Only to find out that I will receive a store credit to some bogus online clothing company in which doesn't even sell woman or children clothing. There has to be something that can be done. I did not spend $600 on this product to receive a store credit to a clothing store that I won't sells clothes that I will not wear.

My son is a big / tall individual do they have apparel that will accommodate him?
Second questions is, I gave you cash money I can only receive a store credit for your merchandise? Why not just give a visa gift card and I can purchase anything I desire from anywhere I desire other than the company that mistreated me in the first place? Where's the justice for the customer?

I called to start the process to receive a refund on my imoto hoverboard. They told me that there is no refund, only a credit to buy their apparel. I then called the US Consumer Safety Commission who said they are looking into it but as of now there is nothing they could to do about it. In addition to their refusal to back up their products they have a most unhelpful Customer Service Department. They claim that there is only one telephone number for the entire company and the representative told me that he is the highest level employee I could speak to. I find it amazing that this company is still in business.

My father in law purchased this hoverboard for my son for Christmas. Even though he was supposed to receive it for Christmas, it came a month late. My father in law was so distraught that he bought my son another gift. He then received the hoverboard in January and I told him to give it to my son for his birthday in June. Now there is a recall on the board. They want to give you credit at their clothing store! YEA RIGHT!?!? Who wants clothes in place of their hoverboard?!? I noticed that SWAGWAY is putting the right batteries for anyone who has a recalled unit. They are even giving credit to buy the right one. WHY IS HOVERBOARD 360 NOT DOING THE RIGHT THING? VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE... BUY FROM SWAGWAY NOT HOVERBOARD 360!

Hoverboad360.com won't give a refund nor repair nor a new board that isn't recalled. They want you to spend your own money to send it back and get a store credit for apparel. We don't want their expensive, worthless, nasty clothing. They will hang up the phone on you and not offer a reasonable solution. I even asked them right after ordering if they had issues and they assured me their boards were safe and certified. I hope there is a hero that can force them to do the right thing for customers and at least return the money. Sad they want to disappoint children with going from a toy to their disgusting clothing. No way am I going to spend money to return it to get nothing worth anything for my child in return.

Was hung up on by customer service. Phone was tapped on with a pencil or so obnoxious object.
Got absolutely nowhere and was told they would not let me speak to anyone else when I asked to.
Would not listen to me, worst of the worst. Sad that this company has this kind of coustomer service, if you can even refer to as that.

There is a recall on these boards. Mind you I called them back when they were banning on airplanes, they informed me the board was completely safe! Now they only want to offer a store credit for Hoverboard apparel! I contacted the Attorney General and urge everyone to do the same! They have blocked me on their FB page as well. FRAUD!

Hoverboards recalled and "payment" is credit for clothing from their website. I called and spoke to Robert - the "manager"- if he really is the manager it explains why they are such a terrible company. He was rude, not helpful and unprofessional. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! You will regret it. They deserve less than one star

I HAVE READ SOME OF YOUR REVIEWS, AND IT SEEMS THAT MOST OF YOU HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE DELIVERY OVER CHRISTMAS, BUT IF YOU GOOGLE DELIVERY OF HOVERBOARD360 ESPECIALLY OVER CHRISTMAS, IT WILL GIVE YOU AN EXPLANATION AS TO THE SUDDEN CHANGE AND NEW REQUIREMENTS ON SHIPPING THE BATTERY AND THE PRODUCTS, MUST OF BEEN A NIGHTMARE FOR THE COMPANY ESPECIALLY ON THE DEMAND OVER CHRISTMAS. I BOUGHT 7 HOVERBOARD360'S FOR GIFTS, THEY WERE LATE, BUT THEY DID ARRIVE. MY CHILDREN HAVE HAD ENDLESS HOURS OF FUN ON THEM WITH NO PROBLEMS WHATSOEVER. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM AS A GIFT OR FOR PERSONAL USE TO ANYONE. I WILL BUY AGAIN FROM THIS COMPANY, EVEN IF I SHOULD WAIT EXTRA TIME, IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. We purchased three Hoverboards, they sent us one that didn't work. We returned it in January. Its now April and still no return. We did our part they have not done theirs. I have an email with the tracking and information. I call and leave messages for their amazing customer service to hang up on you. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THE PRODUCT SUCKS. THE SERVICE SUCKS.

Total Scam

Got the 10" wheel hoverboard from Hoverboad 360 for my 11 yr old son for Christmas... it broke completely in half while he was riding it on flat pavement... and it was only used minimally and inside mostly because weather wasn't great in Dec/Jan... they did asked me to send a picture of the broken unit so a supervisor could approve the return based on the warranty... they then refused to allow us to return because they said we abused it and that is not true... it's clearly a mechanical fault in the frame of the hoverboard... then they wouldn't return phone calls or emails and refused to help get it repaired... total scam... if anyone knows how to get our money back please let us know...

In late November of 2015, we purchased a Hoverboard from Hoverboard360, a New York based company, for our son for Christmas. Our son opened the present at Christmas and rode it that day for a bit before we left on vacation for 2 weeks. Upon our return from vacation, our son used the board for a couple of days, indoors only in our basement. A few days later, my wife was working at her computer in our laundry room, where the board was stored. It was not plugged in, and without warning, made a loud bang and began to shoot sparks. For those that recall, it was around Christmas that there was much press about hoverboards catching fire, and in a few instances burning down homes. Fearing a fire, my wife took the board out to our garage.

I immediately began making calls to company to complain and demand a refund of the defective board. I was told to email photos of the board, which I did, and was told to return the board for a replacement. Although insisting a refund, I attempted to return the board through the mail and was turned away at the post office as they refused to ship the product for fear of fire.

I traded several emails with Hoverboard360 which resulted in my finally threatening legal action, which caused them to send me a UPS shipping label to use to return the defective product. I was promised a refund upon return of the board. Well, the board shipped via UPS on February 27 and the tracking information reflected receipt at the company on March 2. I heard nothing from the company for nearly 2 weeks after that time, and contacted them again via email. I was promised a refund within a week, but nothing ever came. I emailed again, and then was asked to provide the tracking number for the shipment, which I did showing delivery and signed receipt by a specific individual at the address.

Following that last email exchange with proof of the tracking and delivery email (April 1st, 2016), I have heard nothing. I have now emailed an additional 3 times demanding a response and refund as promised, but am being ignored.

This company is a scam. They have my money, have the product, and do not deliver on their promises. BUYER BE VERY, VERY, VERY AWARE!

We bought our son a Hoverboard at Christmas. It shipped in a timely manner and no issues there. The first day he rode it though, there was an issue with one of the foot pad sensors and if you do not step off a certain way, the board shakes and shimmies, violently and out of control. It has not only dented multiple pieces of our woodwork but also cracked into the wall so hard that a big chunk of the plastic broke off of the board. It does NOT function properly and is very dangerous! My son has called multiple times and NEVER can he get through to a live customer service person. He did get a reply about a month after his first contact via an on line response and was told to take a picture, fill out a form and email the form back. He did that then never heard back from them again. So terrible when a company cannot provide customer service and stand behind their product :(

My parents bought 2 boards for my kids at Christmas. Shipments time was 5-7 days. One board came in weeks later approximately 3 weeks later the other maybe 5 weeks later. After a week the one broke. We sent it back and haven't heard a thing! Can't call and they won't reply to my emails!
