The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

We bought 2 vanity cabinets for a new bathroom and one being remodeled at about $1500 a piece. When they arrived we had them stored in our shed as the contractors were behind on our remodel. Contractors being behind schedule in the current housing market is the norm. Our bad, We did not check the items shipped, I am a small female and these boxes were cumbersome and very heavy. When we were ready to use them, mirrors were cracked and chipped. Some of the shelving was smashed beyond recognition. But we were past their window for returns. Our contractor encouraged us to ask for replacement parts. He said all of these companies know that contractors are running behind and he had good fortune getting replacement parts. Not the case for us. They charged us nearly as much for replacement parts as they would a new cabinets. We order a lot online. Occasionally something has a minor ding or chip, but never to this degree. After much arguing, and because I didn't want to spend another $3000 to go to another company, we had to buy replacement parts. They get one star only because I was forced to give at least one star. The packing and shipping was disgracefully poor. Customer service was even worse. Shameful business. They were not willing to negotiate in any degree. Not even with shipping costs. We will never purchase anything from them again. Ever!
Victoria listens. I feel my thoughts and suggestions are heard. She offers wonderful continuity and energy to our professional relationship. I appreciate her diligent follow-through and insights. Thank you!
I'm truly sad that I purchased from houzz and received defective and broken item and they didn't care to replace at all. I had proof of all boxing and items. Since I was one day out of 5 day policy. I work as a nurse and only had time to open on weekend. I paid for an item that damaged due to no fault of mine that I can't use. Worst part was the service I received

I have $1,800 wasted on 7 bar stools that are falling apart. I contact houzz with pictures they requested, return was about 90 days later, but after looking at the pictures they said I'm past the 30 day return policy. They why ask for pictures? We knew I was 90 days out. Furniture should last years without issue, especial at this price. Don't buy from this site!
Thank you for sharing your experience. We appreciate your feedback as it will help us continue to improve our processes every day.
Compony overload with the low quality products. Support is even worst. I bought the bed, parts are missing, the quality is very bed, trying to return, but its so complicated.

After paying thousands of dollars to Houzz since it was established, I feel it no longer works to provide quality leads. For whatever reason, Houzz has tried to become the end-all, be-all, and do-all for its members and no longer provides qualified referrals. I have had referrals from Houzz in the past 3 years. All of them except one have been "duds" for two reasons: (1) They don't align with my business model of a professional kitchen-bath and addition designer; (2) They don't reply even when I express interest in their project through several written messages and phone calls. This means that I've paid over $6,000 to earn $3,500 from the one client. I've expressed my dissatisfaction to Houzz many times, in feedback forms and surveys like this. There's been no reply from Houzz except to remind me of the contract I signed. It feels like Houzz is more interested in their income than helping me with my income!
I recently was sold on the business tools for my construction company. The pushy salesman called me over a period of 3 months until I finally gave in and signed up. The lead services etc. are nothing like what I was told I was getting. It's essentially a platform where you can show pictures of your work. The monthly premium is so much higher than their competitors yet they offer nothing more. Now that I'm signed up I can't even get a phone call or email back. The worst customer service I've seen in a while. I DO NOT recommend
I never ment to sign up with houzz but do to adds popping up on screen in front of a estimating program I thought I was signing up for. They were able to get me to sign with them as well as access to my personal debit account. I immediately told them I sign up for the wrong thing and to delete it and refund my money. They immediately contacted me and asked me to try for a month free and if I did not like it then I could end it. I did not use once that month and called to end but could not get through on any of the 5 customer service numbers found on there site, due to they had a "company meeting" per what there voicemail said that did not accept msgs. Since then they have repeatedly tried billing me over and over till I had cancelled my card. I have repeatedly emailed them to cancel and delete with no outcome. I finally got thru on there phone lines after I spent 20 mins on hold and 30 mins on the phone with their customer service and still they did not cancel, but instead told me I was now in contract. I've never used there service and from the looks of it there have only sent one lead of work I'd never be interested in or do any how. This company is a scam and I want nothing to do with them. I will continue to write reviews untill they stop harassing me.

I ordered from Houzz as a guest. Today I received an email that said the package was being delivered today, on Sunday and a week early! Great news. The email contained a link to Track My Package, which I clicked on. The Houzz site it took me to said to enter my phone number to track my package. After much hesitation, I entered my phone number and was taken to a page that asked me to to create a Houzz account. At this point, I was really looking for that delivery update, so I created an account. When I was done, Houzz took me to a page "Tell us a little bit about yourself", which I did. Dumb? When done, Houzz said I would get text updates on my order, which I learned to mean Future orders, because despite trying everything I could think of, there was no way to get the delivery update on my current order. To say Houzz suckered me with their lack of integrity ploy would be spot on. Really bad behavior from what I believed to be a very reputable company.
I placed an order for a kitchen cabinet first week of January. As per Houzz tracking system it still shows "Ready to Ship" and here on the 28th of January it finally arrived. The shipping company provided tracking information and still delivered a week later than scheduled. I contacted Houzz to find out where the order was and never received any response. The shipping company provided some guidance, but I was never notified about delays or progress or status of the shipment. Shipping company's website and their customer service were the only bits I could count on

Placed an order with Houzz and was immediately charged for the product. No problem so far. But then Houzz discovered that their supplier did not have the product available. This raises a couple of questions about their service. 1. Why was the item marked "Not currently available"? Most reputable web sites do this. 2. Why was the charge made before Houzz could determine that the item was indeed available for shipping? I think I'll pass up this site on future orders.
The chest ordered from Houzz was made India and took months to arrive, a delay that could be excused given covid and the disruptions to the supply chain. However, the color of the chest did not match the photo, which showed a more uniform color. The chest that arrived was made of a multi-colored wood and looks blotchy, and the middle drawer won't open. I'd be very hesitant to buy another product made in India.

Received a broken item. 08/25/2021 sent pictures and after a few weeks got replacement pieces but item still broken... I returned the item on 10/25/2021 and i am still waiting for the credit to my credit card... They say because i put a dispute in with my credit card company i have to wait 90 days... They have the item... I cancelled the dispute and i still dont have a credit. This is unethical...

WARNING: Do not order anything from this company if you don't want to waste your time and money! I have placed an order that I have yet to receive after waiting three weeks. I was told that I can not receive a refund and they will continue to contact their fellow merchant to try and have the order delivered. However, they explain in an email that stated, "We will get back to you as soon as we have more information. If your order is unable to be cancelled, we would be happy to help you find an alternative solution." Yeah, the alternative solution is to give me back my money.!

My wife and I liked this lamp which had an orange base and cost 521 dollars. They sent me a another model which was priced at 467 dollars. So I texted them to compromise since the shipping was going to be expensive. Well according to Houzz their 3rd party seller could not do it. I just wanted back the cost of the difference since they sent me the wrong lamp. Aww but to no avail. I will never shop this site again. I will stick to Amazon (free returns)

We have been a member of Houzz Pro since 2016. We are a General Contracting firm in the Metro Nashville Tennessee area specializing in the design and construction of Backyard Get-A-Ways. Houzz has been our top project generator since 2019. The size and number of projects that we have landed as a result of our partnership with Houzz has been significant since 2019. We appreciate the professional promotion of our company through Houzz as well as the personal attention by Houzz representatives. Justin Ignacio has been our most recent representative with Houzz over the past year plus and has always been extremely helpful and considerate of us and our business! We use several other online platforms to promote our business and have found Houzz to be the most consistent for us! Thank you, Houzz, and Justin, for a job well done!

Ordered 4 bar stools took 3 weeks to get them. Then finally received packages there was 4 boxes and none of hardware was in any of them. How do they expect me to put them together with no screws or feet plugs? 44 screws and nuts are supposed to be with each chair! Never ordering again trust me they will get an ear full!

I ordered a rug from this company and they delivered the wrong rug. I have been trying to get the correct rug or refund for 3 weeks with no resolution. Every time I call I get no help at all. I am stuck with a rug that I did not order. They want me to pay for shipping a huge rug back. It is definitely not my mistake. I would suggest that you NOT do business with Houzz.com because they do not resolve issues like this at all. I have been getting the run around after about 5 calls and multiple emails with them with no resolution to their delivery of the wrong $350 rug.
Thank you for the feedback. Our team has responded directly to your email. We are sorry for the frustrations this order caused.
Houz, has a great team! It's a pleasure working with them!
Maria was very knowledgeable and helpful but most of all friendly!
Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
