The company's reputation is mixed, with notable strengths in product quality and delivery efficiency, as many customers express satisfaction with their purchases and the overall aesthetic appeal of items. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly in handling issues related to delivery options, billing disputes, and product defects. Customers frequently report difficulties in reaching support and receiving timely resolutions, leading to frustration. While some patrons appreciate the extensive product selection and smooth purchasing experience, the inconsistency in service responsiveness and problem resolution highlights areas for improvement in their customer service approach.

Ordered an item November 13,2021 delivered in a damaged state on November 23,2021. Followed all instructions for return and have been unsuccessful. A return address was sent by a vendor email without instructions on shipping or refund process handling. No resolution as of December 27,2021. After researching my experience and Houzz there are many issues when encountering items delivered damaged and no receiving prompt customer service follow up.
I did most of my shopping online and given this year's supply/demand issues, I started shopping for Christmas in October. Most business extend their return policy for the holidays or at the least provide store credit for gifts that either miss the mark or turn out to be duplicates. It is not the case for this company. In today's market when there is so many competitors in pricing and delivery, you're much better off getting your goods from another supplier who understands good customer relations as Houzz most definitely does not.

I just spent an hour trying to locate my order. I received a confirmation but there's no record of It The customer service rep was only available via chat and could only cancel my order after they contacted the vendor online. Huh? You screw up my order and I now need to wait in an email from Regal Flame. This is bad business. I'll need to call my credit card company to fight the charge.

This company has no idea what costumer service is. If you are unhappy with the product or have issues good luck. Customer service does not get back to you or try to resolve the issue. I tried for 3 months to contact them to return 3 pendant light I purchased, no luck. I had to go through my credit card company to get in touch with them and than I get the " passed 90 days" return policy BS. The lights are untouched and in the box, It would very easy for to put right back on shelves but they want to charge $500 restocking fee and I have to pay for the return3 of 3 boxes... Because they would not get back to me? Dont deal these people. Wayfair is a much better company.

I bought a $500 chair through this website and returned it and never received a refund. The company left it up to me to fight with the seller who refused to refund my cash. Not good customer service

Your options do not apply to me. Yes I have the lamp but the finial is incorrect. So it's not the right order as pictured. So, send me a corrected lamp or a new finial. And if you are unsure what a finial is then allow me to explain.
Lamp finials set on top of a lamp harp and hold a washer fitter shade to the top of a lamp.

To whomever. On Nov 20 I ordered a set of knifes for my mother-in-law. I called on the 27th and was told the order had been canceled on the 22nd. No phone call or email. They said someone would contact me as to why. I waited 5 days called again told me the same thing. 3 days later I got an email asking if I had received the order or not received the order or had canceled the order. Well I don't need it now because I ordered it off another site. Extremely disappointed with service. Don't I will ever order anything else

I have ordered two sets of kitchen chairs in good faith. Both order were cancelled due to "being out of stock" even though we confirmed availability with a human. Both chairs are still being advertised as available on the Houzz site. This is fraud.

Place an order on Nov. 1,2021, waited almost 4 weeks for delivery only to be told my order was cancelled, no explanation whatsoever, oh yeah, they offered 10% discount on future orders, LOL.
Do they really think I will be buying ANYTHGING from them after the last purchase?
My advise, stick to reputable outfit and unfortunately rip off place as Houzz is NOT one of them.
Terrible shopping experience. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I can't recommend Houzz Pro enough. If you work with crews and need real-time communication, you are missing out if you don't talk to Houzz.
I waited home all day for a walnut bed which cost $2400. 00. It never arrived. Got a call 5 days later saying that the delivery had been canceled in error. They left the bed in my driveway. It had obviously been left out on a loading dock in the rain. That's why the delivery person wouldn't deliver it, knowing no one in their right mind would accept such a package. Wet boxes soaked and fallen apart held together with duct tape. Houzz won't take furniture back unless I can document'damage'. They want me to put wet furniture together to see if it is damaged. Unbelievable!

I ordered a floating bathroom vanity from Houzz. It arrived on time but my contractor informed me that Houzz sent a 36" vanity top for a 40" vanity base. When I called Houzz they told me it was a shipping issue and they wouldn't cover it because I had waited more than 5 days to report it. I submitted pictures to support my case. I became very frustrated because my bathroom remodel was on pause due to the ineptitude of Houzz customer service. Each day I called, Houzz representatives gave me a different story. On the 3rd day I was able to reach a Houzz representative who acknowledged some responsibility and after going back & forth, she offered me a $200 refund (vanity cost $1000) if I'd be willing to keep the mis matched vanity. I was so frustrated that I agreed. My contractor had to have a custom granite top and undermount sink made, which cost almost as much as vanity. I'm very upset with my experience with Houzz. Never again!

I should have received a substantial refund for a sconce that had an incorrect description
(Said it had 1 bulb not all the tiny ones you can see) & not a good housing that gods the interior lights but did not receive one.
I found their customer service to be lacking & almost harassing as the light was already installed & the defects weren't apparent until after installation but all Houzz said was to return it
Won't buy anything from a company who doesn't stand behind their products.
Bad quality & cheaply made
Ver disappointing esp customer service.

I ordered two vanities in two separate orders from this company. We waited weeks and weeks and weeks for it to show up. It was so frustrating how long it took. One was marked delivered but it never showed up. To this day no one has ever gotten back to me about where the heck it was delivered. And the other one had the countertop broken to pieces. We immediately contacted Houzz. They asked me if I wanted credit I assumed it was for the missing vanity which seemed fair. But no... They said that because I agreed to it they weren't going to refund my money for the broken product and gave me store credit instead of a refund. I was so upset. So now I get to wait weeks and weeks and weeks for inferior products that are either going to be missing or broken. Yay! I also ordered dining room chairs from them and a month and a half after I ordered and it still showed processing they said oh never mind they're not available anymore. At least I got a refund for that but the fact that nobody even noticed until I complained about it was really maddening. Stay very far away from this company especially if you are under any kind of building deadline. Use wayfair, use overstock, there are dozens of other housing supply companies that I could recommend before you turn to this mess of a company. Because they will not give a crap about you as a customer.

Be ware of bate and switch with this company, I bought a $4000. 00 door with this company, after doing my measurement. When it came it has the wrong holes to fit in. I decided to exchange it but they don't have the same door with the correct holes to fit it. So. Yes I decided to retuen it. Well! Well! Well! The good bate and switch they charge me $525.29 for a return fee. At first I thought it was a joke but boy I was wrong. The first bad experience started when they delivered the door, I paid extra for in house delivery buy they delivered it on my drive way blocking my wife's cars. When I called them they said oh it's a curb side delivery... I will never do business with these bunch of crooked people that dealt with this transaction and please be aware if you are buying anything from them. Don't fall for it, learn from me. TERRIBLE AND BAD TASTE...

I had a wonderful experience purchasing from houzz.com. One friend of mine recommended this store after purchase of the stylish furniture set for his house. Flipping through the catalogue with wide range of products I've finally found exactly what I needed! My brand new coffee table is a perfect fit for my living room. Now I can spend my leisure time with much more comfort and pleasure. Thank you for the great survice!
After being hounded for years by their persistent sales team we finally committed for a year of "Pro" service for our design company. This was very expensive and yielded no solid leads after one year.
For comparison, Google gave us almost 3,000 referrals in a year, Instagram almost 8,000.
Houzz Pro... 30. In an entire year. Less than 3 click throughs a month for $400 a month.
After a year they renewed us on a month to month basis for $400 a month with no fore warning or any follow up to see what we had thought of their "service".
Our Houzz Pro "dashboard" contains no information on billing, renewal terms or renewal dates.
To cancel your auto renewal you have to do it on the phone, 30 days in advance.
Our sales rep. No longer answers emails and will not address this issue.
We are disputing this with Visa and we keep getting charged.
We block Houzz Pro and next month we get billed by Houzz Advertising.
Truly a terrible, parasitic, dishonest company that provides zero value.
Avoid, avoid, avoid.

The sales woman talked me into singing up for 630.00 and never could get anyone to walk me through my subscription. And fell if they are going to sale you something they should try to make sure you get something for your money. Hopefully I'm the only one who has experience this.
We are sorry to hear about this! Do you have the business name you can share so we can get in touch?
I placed an order for 2 carpets that were the were identical in color after the order was placed I received an email stating that the rectangular rug was a completely different color.
I was on the phone with a person who did not speak English so I ask for a supervisor, The website had the the correct colors, but they wrote back and said no you cant get this in the same color even though the order said I could. I was on the phone for over an hour before the super told me they could not fulfil the order! I Additionally went to OVERSTOCK.COM and had the same problem.
I do no not understand why these people advertise something they cannot produce.

Answer: Good question Maggie. I don't think there is. I think this site is just there to help their vendor and not assist consumers in making informed decisions. I found had a contractor who had defrauded us and changed his business name on Houzz. I posted a review on his profile notifying the public of what he had done to us, and Houzz did not publish the review. I joined Sitejabber to warn the public about Houzz.
Answer: I began as a Pro on Houzz and spent $2000 on Advertising. This was supposedly for a year of top exposure. No one purchased, the couple of calls I received were people wanting to USE my service for ideas. I have since discontinued complimentary initial appointments. These people are the biggest scammers in the world! I'm still one of the Pros just to see if anything bites but I noticed they go into vendors photos and try to find similar product then they sell their products. Great way to sway your client and to steal customers!
Answer: Go straight to the top at Houzz. Ms. Adi Tatarko, CEO, Alon Cohen, Pres. If tha doesn't work, I suggest you file complaint with the Consumer Affairs Division of the California Attorney General's Office.
Answer: The Pros, at least at the beginning, were not in competition with this company (Houzz). They convinced the "Designer" world that the were strictly collecting ideas for the public and to help improve the vendors chances of being hired. Those reviews on the Pros are about the Pros, they come from their clients. About 2-3 years ago, Houzz began selling out from under all the vendors! They are SO low they have gone into the photos of the pros, look for a product they have that might be similar to something they sell and lead them away from the pro. The 1-2 stars you see here are the reviews for "Houzz" and their service but the reviews under a Pro are for that Pro. Don't be fooled... If you want the job done right, call the Pro! Listen to these reviews of Houzz and you won't get burned. Two different animals completely!
Answer: Steer clear. The advertising doesn't work, and although they originally started up as a company that would work alongside the vendors, they are now selling out from under most of them, especially the interiors decorators! They are SO low they have actually tagged products inside some of the photos of interior designers and tabbed out similar products to stay the customer away from the Pro and to purchase through them directly!
Answer: Do yourself a huge favor and find it somewhere else. Houzz contracts with third party sellers and their freight companies, they're just a middle man. What a nightmare this has been.
