Paid for next day delivery, 2 days later no item. I emailed advising of this and the response was "it's not our fault" sort this out HOF! Then bribed I could have free next day delivery on my next purchase. I won't be shopping here ever again. 10 emails last "you can have a fiver back in 3-5 working days". Dreading what the item will be like now after this.
I've always been a fan of HOF, until it's takeover. Well. Just read all reviews down over, that says it all really. It's is now just another Sports Direct, full of high end tat. Bring back the old style and customers may return. Stop charging for click and collect that's shocking. Free delivery over a certain amount. And treat customers with a bit respect.
The most awkward place to send a thing back! Spent hundreds but one item they se t me a tiny instead of large. Tried to send back but no number. Robot online was useless and Facebook help not much better! Ended up keeping a &35 dress that does not fit! Ridiculous service! Will not order again
Avoid this company for any items that need to be tried on for size. Their returns policy is appalling and loaded to deter anyone from returning something that doesn't fit. A pair of £15 canvas shoes cost £4.99 whether they were delivered or click and collect. When they were too large I discovered I would bear the return postage cost and had to post them in the shoebox! What a swindle! What appalling customer service! Avoid!
I have ordered a pare or trainers that costs 159 pounds. Besides the fact that, they arrived faulty in 3 places I have returned them and expected a full refund. That didn't happen! Using pay pall pay in 3 the first payment was for 56 pounds, but they returned 46.34 pounds! I have to chase after my own money! Why is that? Low esteem company with no bright future!
There is no customer service at all.

I ordered a camping table which never arrived, after repeated requests for a table or a refund still nothing!

I will NEVER buy from house of Fraser again. I bought a dress and some shoes, returning both within a week and at the same time. They sent me a letter to say that they weren't refunding the dress as it must have been bought from somewhere else?! Despite 24 emails being exchanged I am back to square one where they are saying the warehouse doesn't have my items? This is 6 weeks ago. In the middle of this they asked if I wanted my items back! They are acting completely unlawfully.
I purchased my items on the 7th of January 2023 and 5 weeks later I'm still waiting for these to arrive. I've contacted the help centre on a number of occasions to ask for an update as these are required for a holiday. I am continually told to be patient although they cannot give me an actual delivery date. I've now replaced the items so want to cancel the order and I am told that despite not receiving this I cannot do this. I expect that they will refuse a return. The communication and service has been appalling and I do not recommend buying from them.

It would help if items you ordered turned up for the next day delivery I paid for.
But all good as far nice people at House of Fraser are concerned they just refunded me the whole £3 a week later that I have already paid extra to compensate me for any inconvenience and service not provided! The reason I paid extra on my delivery order was I actually wanted it for the next day! This is now the second time this as happened, so needless to say I wont use them again!
No apology just said they would refund £3! I had just spent over £150 with you and that is the thanks you get!
As said in other reviews avoid at all costs and hopefully they will find themselves in a similar predicament to the Top Shops etc of this world!

Item not received, no customer contact details on website, very slow to respond to refund request. Don't use this shop! 6 weeks on 14 emails sent to their Customer Services Team, two Denial of Receipt forms completed & do I have my refund? NO! Their tactics are very clear, they hope that I will give up and walk away, just like so many other customers probably do. It is appalling how they are getting away with theft by not refunding customers for non received items. I REPEAT - DO NOT USE THIS RETAILER! I will be contacting the Ombudsman for Retail they should not be trading.
Avoid this company, my item never arrived. I have been emailing and sending "tickets" for the last 2 weeks and have had no response whatsoever. There is no email, no telephone number. This company's customer service is shocking, avoid online orders at all costs, you will lose your money.
They never delivered the shoes I bought, they stopped replying to my emails asking for a refund about two weeks ago now. Will file a formal complaint with the police as they are just stealing your money.
I have been shopping at HoF for over 4 years online. I have purchased a range of different clothes, bags and other accessories and I've always received a great service. I'm really happy with their goods, I found them reliable as I needed an outfit for a wedding and the delivery was fast. I have also used their return service without any issues. I will definitely be buying again.

I have been given a gift card which is a paper till receipt (not an actual card) once I have spent this I will never shop here again!
As the House of Fraser was closing down in Leamington, they refused to give me a refund. I had to have a voucher instead. When I tried to spend it few weeks later in Solihull, they said it has been spent already. The company gave the same refund code to more than one customer. No customer service at all. They basically stole my money. I feel hurt and lied to. Thieves
Worst customer service ever. Emailed and tried to discuss over chat and the staff are so incompetent. HOF cancelled my items in error and haven't even bothered to rectify the issue. They tried to give me a code to use online for a "discount" and it didn't work and when I tried to contact them and tell them, they didn't bother responding to any of my emails or chasers. I'm so disgusted and will ensure no one from my friends or family risk shopping here.
Bought 2 suits from them online. One was damaged with an big scrub mark which I almost missed. The second did not fit. I returned them on time and they promptly sent them back telling me they were not returned "in the same condition as shipped"! What could I have done to them in two days? I took the suits to their Westfield store and showed them to Richard, the deputy sales manager. Richard told me these suits were never worn! I told House of Fraser what Richard told me but they are still not prepared to listen. This is in my opinion a scam and nothing more. I will take House of Fraser to the Small Claims Court and not give up that easily as they may have thought. I find this whole episode shocking that they are trying to peddle defective stuff by refusing to take take back which is with my rights. My advise to everyone is DO NOT BUY anything from them online or at all if this is their attitude to swindle their customers.
Ordered for next day delivery and it still hasn't arrived after 6 days of waiting. Also, they cancelled an order as they said its not longer on stock but they told me after a few days.
Misleading and unprofessional, they have lost a customer and i do not recommend no one to shop there.
If I could give no stars I would. Their delivery service is shockingly bad. I was emailed to say they tried to deliver on 2 occasions, I was in on both days, and the third time I tracked the parcel they said it had been delivered and they emailed me a photo of some random house.
House of Fraser then said I needed to fill out a non delivery form and a dispute with dpd. I then received an email to say the delivery was compliant and the case was closed. The item cost me £120 and I haven't received it.
This is the second time this has happened with an order from House of Fraser, I'll never order anything from then again.
Stay away would be my advice!
Answer: I received 21 letters from Matthew from the senior advisor! 2 months of correspondence! I paid for express delivery. They just do not send the goods and do not return the money.
Answer: I am sorry for not able to help. If i were you i wouldn't take the risk as their after service is so incompetent. If they cant manage a local returned item, i dont think they can handle an oversea one.
