I spoke with Leonel on the phone about booking a room for my mom's open heart surgery at north western memorial hospital. He did an amazing job he took his time and patience out to help me find one close to the hospital.
In a last minute decision to extend an overnight stay at the beach, we called to reserve a room. Given it's the 4th of July weekend, we knew we were taking a chance. A young man by the name of Eric Osciel answered the phone, and what a pleasant surprise! Polite, patient, professional. With multiple other calls on hold, and yet he took his time to ensure we were taken care of and had all that we needed. You could almost hear him smile through the phone when we were talking. I hope this young man is recognized for his kindness and courtesy and his wonderful telephone presence. 25 years in customer service myself, I can tell you this young man knows what it's all about.

Augustin was great on the phone but the billing department charged me for two nights and I only stayed one night. Billing department will NOT return my calls - I have left several messages for Tiffany in billing. I am very disappointed.
I chose Doubletree to have the security I would be taken care of and I was double billed and haven't received a call back. *******469

Given a health issue, my voice is difficult to understand - especially over the phone. Robert could not have been kinder or more understanding as I booked my stay at Kahler on June 2. A few weeks prior, I stayed at Kahler with my son - who has cancer - and that was my first exposure to Robert. He is clearly a sensitive, caring and most helpful young man. I hope you know how fortunate you are to have hired such a sensitive and wonderful person. At that time, another employee - who is from Ireland, but I don't remember his name - was also so kind and helpful. You have a terrific staff, and I thank you for it.

You quoted me the wrong number and the wrong hotel and then when I asked you about it, you didn't even tell me that you made a mistake but instead just quoted me a new number significantly higher than the first number. Feels like it was a total scam from the start.
Pedro assisted me with trying to cancel my reservation. He was kind enough to send me a link to my trip insurance so I could start the refund request process. He also said if I wasn't able to cancel to call them back.

I have pictures 2 Cockroaches on the wall, killed one, one run under refrigerator, moved refrigerator, found the one and 2 more. Kids were screaming and afraid the place was dirty. Afraid to sleep in beds... I had been sent a credit within 10days it has Not happened nor my deposit..
What a nice guy… Gracious, courteous, and extremely helpful… when we couldn't book at the hotel that was initially called, he searched around, found the exact right accommodation at a hotel that was perfectly located… What a guy!

Very well spoken and clear to hear over the phone. Directions were clear and not confusing at all. When asked questions the answers were clear. Great job helping me find an available room in the area I was asking about.
Customer Service person did a good job. I was having problems with my phone. We were driving in the car. I was having trouble hearing him. I was having trouble getting into my text message screen to read my confirmation code to him. He was very patient & helpful.

The gentleman abruptly hung up on me when I was trying to get him to clarify whether or not the hot tub was still in the basement. He originally said in the room? I said no the basement. He mumbled and I tried and asked again if it was in the basement. He never answered he never said by, never said is there anything else. He hung up the phone. With my question not clearly answered and being hung up on iwent elsewhere.

I called to make a reservation last second for my son's rugby tournament and many hotels were sold out because it's a national tournament. It was a last-minute reservation that was needed with not a lot of hotels available in my preferences were very picky, I needed to be close to where my son's team was staying, the price was important and other preferences. The reservationist was super helpful patient and took a long time to accommodate me and very patient. I would definitely use this company again to make future hotel reservation reservations.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
