I was told by Hotelplanner employees via email and customer service phone agent that my guest was added to my stay at the Grand Palladium Jamaica Resort & Spa and I didn't need to do anything further and it wasn't a fee that needed to be paid because I didn't want to add all exclusive just a guest to my room that can hold out to 4 people (based on the website and the agents at the company) edward,Neko and Rachelle everything was sorted out with the hotel front desk on 6/14/2023.
I arrived to the hotel and was told nothing was approved, and Hotelplanner never reached out and my guest would need to pay 662.42 to stay or leave, my room only allowed all exclusive guest. Forced to add an all inclusive guest to my stay when I only wanted to add a guest to my room resort never received information and adding a basic guest without a package wasn't an option. I called customer support 7x and held for a total of 2 hours and hung up on 3x and received no help. Told sorry for the miss communication by supervisor Condessa but you need to pay, I informed her I don't have the funds and is your company okay with my guest safety being at risk and forced to sleep outside, Condessa states if that's what you choose to do. Two young women scared and alone,Thousands of miles from home minimal cash no credit cards(due to high theft country),no car, 45 minutes from the airport and the nearest hotel at 10 pm at night, I was forced to contact a friend to Western Union the funds and get a taxi and return to the resort 5 hours of my time wasted. 100 western union fee 55$ taxi
The business hasn't resolved my issues and no response.
Requesting refund for the extra fees paid at the hotel due to incorrect information.

Your booking was a prepaid reservation at an all-inclusive hotel. When your booking is confirmed in our system, we are unable to edit the reservation further.
When you requested to add someone, even though we spoke with the hotel and emailed them, you still had to pay for what your additional guest got to eat and drink. We did not have any idea what the additional charge would be as that charge would have to come directly from the hotel.

Neal was was fantastic-got my reservations booked quickly and got me the best rate!
Brandon answered, I explained that the link for our group was not working snd ask him to make reservations. I ask him if he was familiar with our group the Revelers. He said he wa. He ask me the dates, I have them to him. He sent me to another place that ask me for a number that started wiyh a H, I did know of no such letter, number. I was stuck in space. He had answered as Hyatt in Greenville si I assumed he was there. So I called back two more times getting people in a call center but answering as Hyatt Greenville. Finall someone gave me the direct line to Greenville but did not tell me I had to pick the correct option, so again sent to space. Finally call and answerd for what I hope is the right person, however after on hold the person voicemail came on tell me she was tied up or with someone. I left message I hope they will call me back. As for how Brandon rated I say a big fat "0".
As for Hyatts automative call service, you think you sre being smart, but what you ste doing is making it hard forgood paying customers to book rooms. You should be ashamed of this type of service trying to save a dollar but loosing 10

One afternoon in July as we were exiting Yellowstone National Park, we used a cell phone to attempt to fine a hotel in Dubois, WY. We saw one that looked acceptable and clicked through to the Wyoming prefix telephone number. Please note--this company is actually located in Florida but uses local prefixes to attempt to establish credibility. SCAM #1
The individual that answered responded with the name of the hotel. I specifically asked if I was speaking with the reservation desk at the hotel. The answer I received was "Yes". THAT WAS UNTRUE. He was an employee of a third party reservation operation located in Florida.
However, believing I was speaking with someone directly at the hotel, I inquired about rates and availability. I was quoted a rate of $279.88 for the night. Expecting it to be a nice room, I confirmed the reservation. At that point he turned on the recorder. BEWARE!
I arrived at the hotel and the desk clerk showed us the room. It was very spartan but she also said that the actual rate was $121.72. While it was a VERY basic room, the rate was right and we were tired so we took it. The next day on check out I received a bill for the room for the correct amount of $121.72.
I was astounded when a few weeks later my Visa Bill arrived and I had been charged $279.88. I protested the charge with Visa but was told that since it was with a third party there was nothing they could do about it.
So take a look at the Google Search under the caption of "What does Hotel Planner do?" Their response is "HotelPlanner.com is a leading provider of online solutions and services to the global hotel sales market. This technology ensures "THE LOWEST RATES" by allowing customers to receive quotes directly from hotel group sales managers..." What a bunch of nonsense. PURE FALSE. I got charged an excess of $158.16 over the desk rate at the hotel.
BEWARE THERE IS A REASON FOR THEIR LOW RATINGS AND REVIEWS. THEY ARE A SCAM OPERATION.

They can only do it with Gen Vactive. But also just realize that you are facing doing it this can come from heaps of angles. I've also been around outsiders who don't share my view of it. Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
