I called to check rates on a room, she was rude from word one. She clearly didn't want to be there. I work at a hotel in New Hampshire as well and I would have been fired on the spot if my manager or owner heard me speak to a guest or potential guest the way she spoke to me. I was so excited to book a stay there, but her hanging up on me when I was in the middle of a sentence is the epitome of terrible customer service. I'll just book at the regal where I have been treated with respect in the past.

My AA flight was canceled, AA offered the Hampton Inn, however, I preferred the Westin being familiar with the chain. On the Westin website the price per room was $119.20 (US) however, when I called the reservation number and spoke to Joel he said based on availability the rate was now $220 and only 4 rooms were available. Even though I told him the official Westin website was significantly less he would not honor that price but again based on availability the price was $236.36 with tax recovery and fees. I felt pressured and booked the room with my AMEX card. When I arrived at the hotel I noticed it was not very busy and the front desk said they only were at 25% occupied! Joel simply did not tell me the truth and overcharged me $100. This is NOT the way to do business and I am extremely disappointed in the Westin allowing such a flagrant lie. I doubt I will ever do business with Westin again.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
