I hope this is not the way of the future. Nothing beats a live person. I found the virtual agent extremely annoying to work with. We kept speaking over each other and she would start again. I think it took much longer to make my reservation and I got off the telephone in a bad mood.
Just booked a room with Springhill Suites with the help of Jorge. He was professional, efficient and made the booking experience enjoyable! Excellent customer service!

Trying to reserve room at specific Marriott for wife's surgery. Typed in specific Marriott and clicked on reservation and presumed I was speaking with the hotel itself, which turns out I was not. Price gentlemen gave me was much higher than the price I had seen the day before, but since reservation was for that evening, I assumed the price difference was due to that fact.
Of course I find out when I check in it was not through the hotel and I wind up paying substantially more.
Misdirected advertising and will never use your sites again.

Your agent was great but I would highly recommend that you do not book with this hotel again. It was a dump and I would not use your service again because the hotel was creepy and nasty I can't trust you.

Jim did an excellent job! I was totally impressed! I'm so glad I got a hold of him because the previous person was awful and told me she could not take my credit card over the phone, wanted me to use a keypad and then ended the call after 14 minutes.

I didn't realize I was calling a third party. I wanted to talk to the hotel direct. I asked if it was the front desk at Ocean Reef and he said yes. I requested the Oceanfront king room and he said I got the last one. He quoted me the total cost and said that was the final amount. When arriving at the hotel, my reservation was for 2 queen beds. Also, said I owed $208 more dollars, which cut our trip money short. Our check in date was 12/31/25 and check out was 1/05/26.

I was told that the hampton inn at Rock hill was not available
I then, had him book me in to the Hampton.Inn in colombia, where he said there was only seven rooms available. This meant driving longer for us and also in the dark. When we got there, the attendant said they were not busy at all. And in fact, the next morning, I learned that they were only seven people who had been in the hotel and were checking out. I also, do not understand how our bill could be $182.When the price of the hotel was $116. I think a cancellation fee was charged and I did not ask for this.

Marjorie confirmed with me that the rooms were cancellable up until 24 hrs before the booking date, but never mentioned that there was a fee if 1069. 00 per room. I cancelled and got an email saying I agreed to this policy. I did not. I asked repeatedly if she was sure I could cancel and she said yes each time. The email also stated that I was offered "refund protection" that was declined. Also not true.

Answer: I attempted to email, submitted a support request, called numerous times, requested call backs (received 0), attempted to chat and was continuously ignored or "disconnected", never once reaching anyone that would or could help me. Customer Service at HotelPlanner is nonexistent.
Answer: HP's staff is full of deceitful and despicable liars. Do not use HP for planning any trips if you wish to have smooth, happy travels.
Answer: Just do not use! HP is awful and they will spoil your travel plans!
