Awful customer service. They make the mistake of not cancelling the original flight when making changes after paying the extra 100$ for this special service and also paying the difference in airfare. They leave you stranded and then give a runaround without fixing the issue. Go with kayak or TripAdvisor or Expedia if ur involves having to make changes to the booking. Way better service.
While it is good for tracking, they are terrible with communication and customer service.
I booked a flight that was possible to cancel for credit, so I canceled and rebooked, but they stole the price difference and wouldn't issue even travel credit to use later.
The *******548 number is ALWAYS busy so there is no hope of speaking to an agent either.

I made a reservation on Hopper and got confirmation by email. Then the next day I got an email saying my reservation was canceled. When I called the airline, they said that my reservation was in the system but that Hopper had to finish processing it. As I was going back-and-forth with the Hopper representative via email, (since it's not possible to speak to Hopper by phone), eventually, the representative got back to me and said that my flight was canceled because of unavailability and I would have to rebook. Of course, now the tickets for that flight are $70 per person more. This is absolutely unacceptable. I should not have to pay for their mistake.

First time user; booked a hotel and paid deposit of $96. Had a few questions and contacted them several times without ANY response. I thought me putting a deposit down secured my booking. NOPE! Hopper cancelled my booking, took my money because I didn't CONFIRM ON TIME! AND only contacted me after they did this! Actually received 3-4 support emails basically saying "too bad". I really do not like THIEVES!

Horrible experience with hopper do not recomend. They canceled my seat told me to contact united airlines and than I did and now they told me to contact hopper again. Horrible app. Can't find anything no details for anything just horrible all together.

Firstly there is no phone number to contact them, secondly their insurance is not insurance at all! What they will give you is a credit to use within a year of date of original purchase to be used by the same person! Hopper is a crook! You can't talk to them or get a timely response vial email unless you give them more money for an upgrade! They are greedy and not consumer friendly - go elsewhere or better yet book directly with the airlines.

I recently purchased an airfare that says 100% refundable on the ticket list. Then cancelled the purchase due to one passenger's passport did not make it on time. Hopper did not refund 100% money. They instead gave me a credit vouchers less $400. They claim it was clearly said on their app that they cannot refund the 100% money.
They insist that they told you on their email - which comes after you purchase the ticket - I mean on their second email. First email confirms that your booking is done and says 100% refundable. Now comes the second email thats says your tickets is refundable only thru hopper voucher. Isnt this a scam!
They should saya that up front. Here is a sample screenshot sample of their false advertisement of "100 refundable" and their first email. Make no mistake. They are meant to rob you of your money.

I will never again use Hopper for a hotel reservation. I booked a simple hotel room for work for a three night stay. I am a nightshift registered nurse so I basically pay for three nights so I can use the room during the day for two days to sleep. I made a prepaid 3 night reservation through Hopper at a hotel I've used multiple times before for work. The reservation was from Sunday through Wednesday. When I went to check in Monday morning I was told my prepaid reservation was canceled because I didn't check in on Sunday. I was also told this was only an issue because I booked through a third party (Hopper) and not directly through the hotel like usual. I was also told by the hotel and by Hopper that because I didn't purchase "extra insurance " that I was not eligible for a refund. So I paid for three nights in a hotel room I never got to enter.

I BOOKED A ROOM THROUGH HOPPER ON MAY 18TH. THE BOOKING WAS FOR SATURDAY MAY 20TH...HOPPER DECIDED THAT SINCE THEY GOT THE PRICE WRONG OF THE HOTEL I BOOKED, THEY CANCELED MY BOOKING WITHOUT EVEN GIVING MY MONEY BACK RIGHT AWAY, THE HOTEL WAS COMPLETELY BOOKED AFTER THEY CANCELED ME, AND THEY HAVE NO WAY OF CONTACTING THEM TO HAVE Issues LIKE THESE RESOLVED. SO IM OUT OF THE MONEY I PAID FOR THE ROOM, HAVE NO HOTEL TO STAY IN, AND NO WAY TO SPEAK TO ANYONE ABOUT THIS. AND NOW WHEN I GO INTO MY HOPPER APP AND I CLICK THE HELP BUTTON, IT DOES NOTHING. I CLICK HELP ON 2 OTHER PHONES AND IT WORKS, BUT MIRACULOUSLY ON MY PHONE IT DOESN'T. SO IM OUT OF MONEY AND OUT OF MY ROOM. No response from customer support for weeks and absolute unwillingness to help, they keep switching representatives and saying same excuse over and over, like we apologize and please give me some time to go through your case, and few hours later same thing all over! Jyoti was good! My problem is with Hopper. I booked a 5 nights hotel reservation, to bring my family to New York on vacations. How in the world can you let a traveler book a hotel that doesn't allow kids, if at the beginning we indicate that information. I arrived at the hotel at 12:45 am, and they didn't let me in, with two children.
I ask for a refund and the the process took three hours aprox and they process the refund but the money won't be available in my account for 3-10 days. I just brought the money to spend some days with my family. Instead I had to book another reservation at 4 am because I didn't have enough money for that. Now, they left me without money.
Hopper didn't care about my situation, I was out with my kids, on the cold weather, trying to find a place to be safe. The hotel that I found is very expensive, everything was full (no other choice). The only thing they did is give me 200 compensation o his app, as if this is going to help my situation. They let my children be in a vulnerable situation and that is unforgivable. We are going to make decisions about this…
I had a hotel reservation that I cancelled when a concert in OK City was cancelled and have sent in all the information required (twice) but did not receive a reply from Hopper. It has been more than a month and no response and no refund. I would not book though this service as I surely will never use them again. Too bad a 0 (zero) rating is not possible.

I went on hopper to book a hotel for our trip in September and did the price freeze. They took the money and the hotel I booked on their site was book now pay when we arrive. The hotel ended up taking $308 out of my account. When I inquired, hopper told me that this particular hotel doesn't doesn't do the pay later. Well then it shouldn't be advertised. They said I couldn't have a refund because the hotel wouldn't allow it. I was told to call the hotel directly. I couldn't get a hold of them. I went back and forth for 2 days and they finally agreed to give me a refund but now are telling me 10 to 15 days. At this point I don't know what to do. It didn't take them 10 to 15 days to take the money. This Hopper is a scam. I just want my 308 back. Do not use this site.

Do not use price freeze. We purchased "price freeze". We tried to book 2 days later. As you cannot book two rooms simultaneously you have to book and pay per room. I booked and paid for first room and trying to book 2 nd room says hotel is full. They refunded price freeze for that room, but as I canceled for 1st room as I could not have my family split … we canceled and rebooked with Hopper but to my dismay they swallowed my price freeze amount and put it into their pockets! I spoke with them via chat … but according to them its not refundable even if you rebook a day later.

Don't use this app. You will spend so much time looking for the right hotel flight or whatsoever and at the nd you always cannot Freeze the price or purchase the deal.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
Answer: No they are about polar opposite of trustworthy. Run don't walk away from this company. My lesson cost $1435 dollars. If you require customer service look elsewhere they have none. Not even a phone number which is the first red flag.
