I booked through hopper and made the additional purchases they offer for extra flight protection in case of any changes. They did not disclose refund policy for seat selection on the app or on their website. When i contacted them they did not do a refund for seat selection. They said it was due to they policy of CHFAR. When i went to read the policy it did not indicate anything about seat selection like they described. They have a lot of undisclosed information. Before you make a change or a purchase make sure you call to verify for refunds so they don't do this to you.

The hopper agency never notified me that a flight was canceled thus resulting me missing my other flights. Good luck rebooking your flight, because you will be placed on hold for hours, only to be redirected to their "colleague" bringing you back to step 1! Also, the customer support line is riddled with Indians who don't know what they are talking about. Sounding like robots, reading prompts. They seriously do not care about customer service, and helping others. They act like they want to help, but in reality they don't care. The lack of professionalism should be and eye opener for future customers. I have proof of confirmation, through Hopper. And the airline still couldn't find it. $1000 later, I ended up rebooking my own flight back home, otherwise I would've ended up at the airport in a foreign country for another 16 hours hoping for the agency to rebook my next flight. Guess what, they never called me back to rebook another flight. (Even with flight rebook guarantee/ travel insurance.) I will never use this app again. What a waste of money and time. Scammers, what a way to strengthen the stereotype of these people!

I was looking through the app on 10/2/23 to see if I can get a rental at a cost-effective rate. I close the app not knowing if the rates that were given was something that I wanted, not two minutes later, I got a notification from my bank that Hopper had charged my card over $400. I called Hopper right away with 10 minutes of this happening and we are now a week later and they refuse to give me my money back. I will never use Hopper again. They are sitting on my money and I even called the car rental place in the car rental place Representative was on the three-way with Hopper and still they will not refund my money. Very bad customer service everyone I speak to doesn't speak. English doesn't understand what I'm saying or just giving me the runaround each phone call I made was at least an hour long, the longest call being two hours and 20 minutes still with no results Here we are a week later I still have no money

I booked air with Hopper going from Myrtle Beach to Cancun. I noticed all of the "add-on's" offered by Hopper, and the one that caught my eye was the "flight delay guarantee". I purchased this option for $57 per person. Our return flight was delayed overnight which was distressing. Because I purchased that option I was refunded the cost of my airfare and essentially only paid $114 which was the cost of the option! I arrived home on October 2, my refund was pending on my Credit card on October 3rd. I'm totally impressed and I highly recommend using Hopper for travel needs.
This BS of having bunny dollars... your screwed and then have to use their app. I got stuck with bunny dollars because I trying to book a hotel deal. Made me do a $80 deposit for the deal. Come to find out that when I got to the hotel, that deal wasn't available. STUCK with bunny dollars. Then booked a different trip just to use these dollars, and got screwed at the hotel for additional fees. It wasn't a deal at all. So we paid a lot of money for a substandard cockroach infested hotel for more money than Motel 6.

Purchased flights then the airline modified. Once I accepted the changes it meant my "cancel for any reason" was invalid. Total scam wouldn't even allow me to transfer the ticket to another person. Just out $1200 I will never use again.

In fact I would call it "absolutely no customer service!" Avoid! They are deceptive in their tactics and then will only respond via email! What service agents (and I use the term "service" very sarcastically) they do have are not helpful; cannot provide any tea assistance; refuse "due to policy" to allow you to speak with a supervisor; and then tell you that they will forward your concern to a department that ONLY responds via email! You cannot speak to anyone in a decision making capacity! I have photo images of all my reservation documents/confirmations and even a voice recording of my phone call with their "help" line! I can show you on a photo image in my phone exactly where I clicked to confirm my reservation (an image of the SUV) I had reserved and prepaid a "price freeze"! After clicking confirm and pay remainder due, I get a confirmation email showing a reservation for a Toyota Yaris! I have 4 guys with luggage and 4 sets of golf clubs going to play Pebble Beach for a lifetime bucket list trip trying to scrimp and save every way we can to make this happen and they absolutely refuse to admit they deceived us, took our money and told me me in multiple emails (which I have copies of) to "remain calm and patient and not to worry!" Only to send an email saying they wouldn't do anything! I will never, ever do business with them again, would highly advise you avoid them; and I will communicate in every way an "venue" I possibly can that this company are liars, thieves and deceitful in their tactics!

I booked my flight on the phone with a representative. He was so kind and patient and helpful. I actually got my flight for $80 less than any other website available. I was very grateful to find this app and very grateful for the wonderful customer experience I had with them. I will always use Hopper for all of my flights.

I rented a weekend through them and the room I rented was so hot my dog was overheating. We contacted hopper support to be told if we checked out we could get a refund. A week later I received an email saying my inquiry was being closed and I still hadn't gotten a refund. We then called again to be told that the hotel wouldn't refund our visit (even though we never stayed in the hotel) we then got a confirmation # to call the hotel and still nothing was done. In the end I received 33$ of my 222$ I spent on a room I was unable to stay in. And a week long headache. Just a waste of money and time. I'm so very disappointed I will not recommend hopper to any of my family and my family travels alot

In short, Hopper kept approximately $460 US Dollars by denying me a refund of flight a could not board due to the change country Covid 19 restrictions. I did pay for insurance just in case something happened, and I could receive a refund. I was denied a refund and instead they granted me carrot points and Hopper would keep a $100 Dollars, I had no choice but to accept since once again they refuse to return my money. I used about $550 of the carrot points which left me with a positive balance of $370 Dollars. They claim there is an expiration date even after I paid insurance for the trip, Hopper removed the balance to keep all of my money balance left. If you pay insurance for any inconvenience or something that outside of your control happened, then you are denied a full refund and coerced to give extra ($100) and then have Hopper tell you that you only have certain time to use the carrot points Hopper coerced you to accept, what good is to pay insurance if Hopper is not going honor it?
I contact them last week and they kept me on the phone for about 40 minutes and contacting me to different departments. Then mentioned they would call my number between 24-48 hours, they did not. I contact them and I got this person they obviously trained to stick to their excuse of why Hopper has a right to steal customer's hard-earned money.
There was a mixup with my room reservations and I didn't get a room at Westgate hotel in Vegas, when I tried to get a refund, they gave me the runaround, hopper said they couldn't do it, call Westgate, they gave me a some other company Agoda that didn't even recognize my confirmation #, I will never do business with them again, would advise Don't Go There!

These guys put these addons for a complete money grab. Even though you can see the arrival time of my flight was 1.5 hours longer than expected they said my flight was delayed only 20 minutes. Then proceeded to tell me you have to report it within 24 hours or its void. I arrived after 2AM and reported within 36 hours. Its a hustle and I will not be booking through them again. If you use them, just use them to look up flights then buy direct. Save money and very poor customer service headaches

Not straightforward with cancellation policy and identify free 1 checked baggage which is absolute lie. Difficult to reach customer service and resolution. Will refer you to airline for everything. It is a risk to book with them. I will pay an extra 100-200 to book straight with airline rather than this company because they are not honourable.

Messaged them about it straight away, all the agents just kept hand balling it. Saying they couldn't refund the money due to the airline polices. I had to book another flight due to they're laziness.
I spoke to the airline at the checkin when I went to fly out and they told me that they had not have anyone contact them regarding my booking but they would refund 90% of the ticket back to the booking agent ($520 flight) I seen none of this money back into my account, Hopper pretty much just stole it. Bunch of thieves. Would stay away from this app over big money bookings as you could be prepared to loose it and talk to a bunch of idiots.

My son and I are on a tight budget, we need to fly from the west coast to the east coast. Do not use hopper if you are traveling. They do not give you all the correct fees and deposit rates, as well as, their app is constantly having errors. Because of this error we accidentally booked two rooms for the same day and hopper will not refund the money for the one extra room. We noticed the error right away and called them to fix it. Unfortunately the Inn we booked at said hopper has to do the refund because it's through a third party We are now out hundreds of extra dollars we did not plan on spending. Extra fees and deposits. Please be aware of all of this. I will never use hopper again.

Answer: File a claim with your bank. They charged me An additional 2 nights after hopper said they would refund my money. Instead they went without my consent n charged me an additional 2 nights. I was robbed for a total of 3 nights. Without being able to contact any support. A total Scam!
