Home Depot's reputation is marked by a mix of positive and negative customer experiences. Many customers appreciate the wide selection of products and the knowledgeable staff, which contribute to a convenient shopping experience. However, significant concerns arise regarding customer service, particularly related to installation issues, return policies, and delayed deliveries. Customers frequently report dissatisfaction with the handling of complaints and a perceived lack of support, leading to frustration and a sense of being undervalued. Overall, while the company offers a robust product range, its customer service approach appears inconsistent, impacting overall satisfaction.

I sometimes have trouble finding the item I'm looking for. If you do find what you're looking for they're shipping is best reasonably priced and the great thing about online Home Depot you can return it to the store if you don't like it
Friendly masculine men available to help you with all your needs!
I know people who work for Home Depot. All employees have to work in a store at some point in their career. This is why this company is the best. They are team players and their goal is to help the customer.
As a woman shopper-sometimes its hard to shop at a home store--but not at our Johnsoncity, Ny, Home depot. The employees treat every one equal there and are always willing to listen to your problem and help. It does not matter if your a man or a woman they treat you all the same. And when you have a major problem and they can't help they will help you find someone that can--Amazing service. I'm very impressed by how they like to take care of their customers.
I have ordered many, many times! NEVER had any issues!
It's good but I got 1 complaint they have got to STOP HAVING LATEX BALLOONS Because there are a lot of people who might have globophobia also know as the phobia of latex balloons popping I myself got globophobia AKA Fear phobia of Latex Balloons popping and i and other coustumers don't want to listen to balloons popping they should start having foil balloons foil balloons are much better I can't stand latex balloons being around
We should own stock in this company. We are there at least once a week. We own our home and it is a homeowners paradise type store. Reasonable prices and awesome stuff.
We ordered carpet from Home Depot, and told the sales associate that we had a cardboard type flooring on top of the wood floor, the associate said it was ok because their latest promotion includes free "floor tear-out".
We took a credit card out to purchase the service and carpet, and we had a quoter come to our house, where we explained to him that the top level stuff had to come off because it was old and deteriorating.
Now the install guys come and say they don't do flooring, and they only pull up carpet, which isn't mentioned in the sales flyer given to me, and it wasn't mentioned by the two store associates (one who came out to our house to do measurements).
It is fraudulent they can put whatever they want on flyers and quoting sheets and not have to comply with their own promotions, which specifically says "floor-tearout", what would you think?
And this flooring was supposed to be installed within their guaranteed 72 hour time frame, which won't happen now also.
Worst company to do business with, the managers couldn't give a rats $#*!, so I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office.
I like how you can order items online and they can have them ready for you to pick up at the store. It saves time. Their ship to home service is wonderful, too!
I have been using the Home Depot site for almost a year. I have found that the two best things about it is if you subscribe to the email mailers they send out you get a $5 coupon and you are the first one to know about the daily deal they have.
I needed a larger refrigerator and went online to browse refrigerators. I found EXACTLY what I wanted with all the bells and whistles. Home Depot has it all!
In June 2016, I made an online application for credit. That was approved and I received the credit card with the details about it. Two months later I tried pay by this credit card in The Home Depot Store and the card was decline. When I call for information about the problem, they talked to me like police do to stealer in custody. They said my account is closed.
I'm a business owner for 24 years. I have no bad credit.
The worts, they never send to me any explanation about their desicion as a law require.
Maybe the problem was I'm Hispanic.
Lost a $3000 Tuff Shed sale b/c of aimless disinterested employees.
I am waiting over 15 days for my refrigerator to get repaired using Home Depot warranty service, which is contracted out to AA & E FACTORY SERVICE through Asurion. Imagine 1/2 month of malfunctioning refrigerator.
Purchased an expensive LG French door refrig and warranty from Home Depot. Here's how your warranty will work if refrigerator is malfunctioning. 1 call for repair. 2. Schedule repair man arrives 3 days later 9/29/16 and tries to get refrig working. Orders necessary parts to repair compressor. 3. DOES NOT HAVE REPAIR PARTS SHIPPED OVERNIGHT, OR EXPRESS SO PARTS ARRIVE 10/7/16,8 days later. 4. WILL NOT SCHEDULE SECOND REPAIR VISIT UNTIL PARTS ARRIVE. Malfunctioning refrig scheduled for return repairman 10/13/16.5. Try asking to speak to supervisor from repair company and of course the supervisor is in Columbia.
I have ordered a lot of things from here and the shipping is great to home and free if you have it shipped to the nearest store.
I have purchased items thru this site and it's convenient not having to go to store. You can find most items more online than in store. It will also tell you if it's in store for pick up to avoid shipping. The videos are great showing you options on how products work if applicable. But, sometimes the pictures provided are not matching product you're looking at (this is the smaller additional options for view). Shipping is quick and sometime you get items quicker than expected. You do have option to have delivered to local store for pick up if needed. Easy returns back to local store.
They are pretty good and their prices are lower than Lowe's. They should have a larger selection of products.
If I knew up front exactly how much everything would cost, I would have gone with a boutique shop and ended up with the same price and much more satisfied.
Once I made the committment and paid a deposit, "things" started getting added--oh that thing is separate and you need to have it, this thing is also separate and you need to have it... Gradually, what I thought was going to be about a $600 expense doubled. Even the day of the installation, I got a phone call saying I needed to pay for something that they should have charged me before but didn't or else they wouldn't come. Also had to end up driving to a store myself to buy yet another part (which they should have told me I would need but didn't) so the installation could be finished. It doesn't help when installation is separate from the store. They blame each other!
By the way, the order for one exterior door and one storm door, and was put in the second week of August. The projected date of installation was Sept. 11 (although the salesperson was very confident it would be done way before then, that it was usually the "latest" date that they put in). Of course installation happened today (Sept. 29) instead, since the item wasn't ready until after Sept. 20 (and it wasn't even a "special order").
They start with a minimum and then keep adding things and count on your resigned reaction because you have invested so much time and aggravation already. I should have had the guts to not let good money go after bad.
They stink at cutting! If u go for floor make sure they cut at right spot! Make sure the cut is straight Make sure you get the correct measurement from them! If you have them help u bring it to truck then make sure they don't mark up floor before u even get it home! Deals are not that great, and sales Stink
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
