Been purchasing from hm for a while now. Although the quality has always been the same "forever 21" quality. I have been pleased. You get what you pay for. However, I purchased a sweater a couple of weeks ago and the sweater stretched so much to the point that it is in wearable. I tried to exchange it and was denied even with receipt because I had removed the cleaning label. Called customer service and they told me they can't do anything about it because they can't resell it with that label. Really? You can't resell it period because the quality is atrocious. Worst customer service ever.
I love h&m but their is no way to review or warn others of a bad product!
The tan 2015 winter Cargo pants ripped while trying them on in store!

For the record I'm slender and the pants were loose and too big in the wast! So they were not too tight and I'm not too fat. I bent over to pick up my phone is all it took! Watch out for junk products!

Now, before I start I would like to get this out! H&m goes through various locations. As I was tracking my shipping, I realized that my package went from a place that was father then were it was in the update example how did it go from ny to Hawaii ( ex). Now i don't know if living in nc is a reason I never have problems w shipping but I realized people who live in like la or ny usually don't have the best experience w shipping. I called the customer service 3 or 2 times and they were extremely sweet and caring she even lead on a conversation while she looked for my package and he also made me feel comfortable calling & shopping with them again. I really do appreciate it Because I don't really like online shopping. Not that I've had a problem with shipping ( never did) but I'm afraid I will. I just want to say it went quite faster then I thought I ordered it on Saturday the 6 got the email that they shipped it on the 7 tracked it every since then & 3 days later it's at my local post office I'm expecting it tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have this luck again, also I've read many reviews my concern was shipping I wanted my order before Valentine's Day and I'm so excited that I'll be getting it happy customer hands down.

However... I've bought 4 different shirts from H&M that started out as lovely 3/4 sleeve flowy tops. One wash in cold water and a line dry later, and I've now got 4 tight-fitting t-shirts. What gives?! That's not what I purchased.
I am not a dolt. I am well aware that 100% cotton shrinks. But to that extent, having followed the proper washing instructions? That's ludicrous! I lost at least 6 inches on the bottom of these shirts. I'll leave the crop tops to Slater, thank you very much.
They really need warning labels (and to carry XXXXL sizes so that I can have my appropriate medium when all is said and done. Not impressed.
I bought from H&M online and I did not receive the items so after waiting more than 2 weeks for my items, I called H&M customer service and asked if I could get a refund instead since I tried tracking it and it seems like it's stuck somewhere in California and it isn't moving at all. I spoke with a prick named Simon and he was very rude and showed no interest of helping me and even laughed that I didn't get my package. He told me I will receive an email of confirmation regarding my refund but I still have not receive any email. This is the worst customer service I ever had! And I will not be ordering from H&M ever again and will make sure it gets spread around to avoid this scam!
I ordered items of the H and M website and they were delivered to the wrong address. Not h and ms fault but Hermes the courier service. I phoned customer services and they said I would receive an email in 48hrs. I didn't, not know they had it and technical problems. I rang again and the lady that I spoke to apologised profusely and was generally really nice. She sorted everything out and even gave me free next day delivery and 25% off my original order. Great customer service and thank you again :)
Still haven't received an ordered I placed over a week ago. No response to 3 x emails. On hold to customer services for over 16mins, gave up as had to go out! AND STILL NO SIGN OF RECEIVING MY ORDER! WILL NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!
Horrible return policy” - They're return policy is absolutely horrible. They purposely make their clothing cheap so it rips and you get charge around $6.00 or more per item you return. Also ghey never say that any returns will be charge. Never again buy any clothing here.
The only thing worth buying are basic tops and similar items. I've had bras from here and they feel cheap, but they get the job done and look fine enough. Same with underwear.
All the jewelry and shoes are the chinky junk you can get at any store that doesn't have a legit jewelry or shoe section. H&M is a fast fashion company meaning everything is meant to be made cheap (ergo, lesser quality, hence only being good for basics) and either sell quick or get thrown out. So yes, it's cheap material probably made in sweatshops, but if all you need is a basic black t-shirt or simple sweater, you can't go wrong.
Experienced difficulty keeping items in cart and once checking out items would become unavailable quickly. Unable to process both of my cards with plenty of money available.
Wow... I always enter with caution so as not to get a headache from the caos they call a store, but today topped it off. Horrible service in long beach. People left upset without buying. I had my autistic son with me. He was sitting on a solid display and was told he could not sit there. I asked for a chair, no chair. Asked to use the restroom. No restroom. Told them he needed to sit somewhere while I shopped for him and my daughter. He was playing his video game. Sorry. Can't help. I was told. So we left. Thanks H&M. You need better policies and employee training.
Its been 6 weeks since I wrote this review. I received an email from H&M that they would look into it and get back to me. I'm still waiting Thank God I'm not holding my breathe!
They're return policy is absolutely horrible. They purposely make their clothing cheap so it rips and you can't return it. Will be spending my money else where from now on.
There clothing is okay I just hate there jeans they don't fit at all. But the shipping was pretty fast my items arrived in 2 days and I didn't pay for expedite shipping. The quality can vary but there good for a budget.
WORST EXPEREINCE SHOPPING AT THIS CRAP OF A STORE. THE CLOTHES ARE MADE IN PAKISTAN PROBABLY SUPPORTING ISIS. THEY WILL NICKLE AND DIME YOU ONLINE WHILE PRICES IN THE STORE ARE HALF OFF. THE RETURN PROCESS TAKES 3-6 WEEKS TO EVEN GET YOUR MONEY BACK AND THEY DONT ALLOW RETURNS IN THE STORE BECAUSE IT IS A $#*! SHOW.
Worst shipping experience of the season. Still can't get my package out of third party carrier and there's nothing H&M seems to be able to do. Will never ever purchase online from this vendor and I recommend the same to all my friends and family. Avoid at all costs!
I never shop at H&M online because I don't like the fact that you cannot exchange or return items in store and you have to pay return/exchange shipping even if the item wasn't your fault. I ordered several tanks, and it was a huge mistake. It did not fit the way I expected (a lot of room under the armpits). That was my own fault. I paid to return these by mail and they deducted $6 (by policy) which meant I lost more money since I also paid shipping to me.
Since they mailed me a 40% off coupon, I figured giving them another chance. I ordered a bathing suit following their sizing chart. I normally wear between 4-6 in every brand, so just to be sure, I got the bathing suit in size 6. When it came, the one piece bathing suit couldn't even pull up to my knees. It was incredibly tiny. Now I have to pay to exchange this(?) since you can't exchange it in store. Great! If you're not sure about an item, I would rather you find it in-store, although their website and stores NEVER have the same stuff which is really annoying.
That's the last time I'm ordering from H&M.
