Absolute scam, stay away. There have 0 product on hand and will charge your account upon purchase and not deliver. Good luck, call them and speaking to someone as they will not return emails or phone calls. Funny how the sales rep., customer service rep., service tech rep., and secretary all sound like the same person with 4 different extensions?
I recently bought a new car stereo from Hifisoundconnection, and I was really impressed with the service I received. Jesse was super friendly and really knew his stuff. He took the time to answer all my questions and even helped me choose some additional accessories. I would definitely recommend Hifisoundconnection if you're looking to upgrade your car audio system.
Took 2 weeks to arrive and only received one out of the two side brackets. (BTW the side brackets are just flimsy pieces of plastic... and i only got one!)
I called Hifi Sound Connection directly and was told that i needed to take a picture of my items with invoice and email it to them!
While on the phone i did that, and was told that i was in an email queue and they'll get back to me.
"What was the purpose of the picture," I asked?
He only said, "it was part of the process."
I said this doesn't make any sense, like you can't take my word for it that i only received one bracket?
What's to stop someone from just removing one bracket and taking a picture?
Or what if i just took a picture of a bag of lint and say that's what you sent me?

Bought a subwoofer and box for my ram 1500. It was exactly what was advertised and at a great price. I would buy from this company again. The only thing i wish is that they would confirm my purchase. Shipping was 2 days and it arrived in 2 days. The only reason i give 3 stars to service is because i called and after 18 minutes i hung up.
I was very nervous once I placed my order (Paiste cymbal) based on the reviews I read afterwards. The ordering process and shipment went great. The agent even checked physical inventory for me. The product was perfect for a great price i. Just 2 days. Feel like I'm reading about another company in these reviews. I would not hesitate to place another order with HiFiSoundConnection.
Called their customer service line to inquire about a guitar they had up for sale. Customer service rep couldn't give any information on the guitar and after complaining to me the entire time about how hard it would be for them to get any information on it due to the warehouse being "2 blocks away" hung up the phone. Called back hoping to get someone who was able to better assist and was hung up on again. I'd give 0 stars if I could.
I paid 39.99 for this trunk unit 6 cd player. I was told that I could return it at my own expense. DelnumberAfter reciept they would review it and make a decision wether i would get a refund or not. They wanted the model number of my car radio. I've had the car 22 years and have never had it out and i'm not taking it out now. The player said all of my cds were bad.I don't know how to do pictures. But I'll try.order number*******
I made the mistake of buying the wrong sub box for my truck, that was on me that was my fault. I quickly sent them an email stating I would like to cancel my order. They replied saying my order has been canceled and I would have to wait 3 to 5 days for my refund to get back to my account. Later that day I received another email stating that my order has been shipped. I then replied back to the email I originally sent them for canceling the order and told them that the order has been shipped after I had already canceled my order. They later refunded me after charging me $18 for an interception fee the cost of the item, but not shipping which was somewhere around $90 to $100. I highly recommend staying away from HiFi Sound connections. Absolute scammers. They have no problem taking your money.
Customer service and return policy is a disappointment. I bought new speakers and the appropriate adapter kit for my car. The adapter kit was completely wrong, and when I pointed this out to HiFi Sound, they told me their paperwork said it would fit. I gave them photographs as proof that both pieces of the adapter kit were wrong - the electrical connector was wrong and the adapter didn't fit their speaker. They don't care.
The return policy is a nightmare! They are charging 20% plus shipping because of their issue!
Agree with all the other reviews. Purchased an Ipad stand that didn't work, had to pay half the cost of the item to return it (no free shipping), then i only get store credit, no refund. Butt they don't carry what i need so it's useless. Really poor customer service in this day and age.
I looked online for factory-style replacement speaker for an easy swap-out on my 98 Ford pickup. I found HiFi Sound Connection, purchased 4 speakers with factory adapters at a very reasonable price. I'm completely satisfied.
Wow, wish I had seen these reviews before my purchase. Ordered a powered antenna that their website said would fit my car, obviously too large. Contacted support, they said, "no problem, send it back.(on my dime). Got hit with a 20% restocking fee! Horrible experience.
Even though the speakers I bought from them were advertised as an exact match for my car, they did not fit. When I complained by email and phone, they tried to cover their mistake with some feeble excuses. They refused to cover my return shipping cost and charged me a restocking fee for what was 100% their error.
I ordered a stereo kit for my vehicle, they sent me what "I ordered" however there was a hiccup. My vehicle comes with 2 different types of harness. Well I called customer service and you know what! They are sending me the right harness. I didn't have to threaten or be rude or even defensive. My representative was polite and glad to help make things right. I would refer them to anyone and would definitely do business with them again. Thank you hifi sound
I ordered a small connector from them and immediately received an email stating that while shipping the part they discovered it was damaged. They stated that there would be a delay while they waited for their supplier to provide a replacement part. After a month of them telling me they should have the part soon, I asked for a refund. I will say this, their customer service responded promptly to all of my emailed inquiries and did provide me a refund in a timely manner; however, I will never order from them again. I do not believe they ever had the part that was "damaged."
I filled out the fields for their " what fits your vehicle" I filled out all the fields and they sent me a speaker that did not fit. I returned it on my own fine and they would not refund. They said I have premium speakers even though they are OEM. So I paid for shipping, return shipping, and now they have my product and won't refund. Called them and got a bunch of BS about semantics when the bottom line is I filled out "what fits my vehicle"
I was worried after I placed an order with this company I went online to read reviews and they were all so terrible! I immediately regretted my decision and went to see about returning it... would have cost me more than the original purchase so I just crossed my fingers and hoped it would be ok. I called the company who assured me everything was fine... they sent the parts right away and they were the correct one. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because one small plastic piece was broke, but it wasn't a big deal.
If you are mad bc you ordered the wrong size speakers then write a bad review on your self for being lazy. Do your homework. I got a better product refurbished and also the newest 1800. 1 kicker cxa 1 ohm stable. That's what I like! So when your ordering door speakers and expect to significantly Enhance your system on the cheap, open your wallet and reach a little deeper. Good components (Mids and highs) require kits sold separately. I'm about 3 grand down via crew cab. 2 L7 - 12 inch, Kicker 1800. 1 / alpine head unit and T speck Wires/caps/AGM 65 batt) that cost more than your whole system. BUY HERE AND KNOW WHAT YOU NEED. Rule of thumb online always know the exact model you need or google it first. Thanks guys and for us that know this place rocks the kicker world
