I purchased a wiring harness for my jeep from these guys and they sent the wrong one! I call and ask about a refund so they sent me an email to return the product to get my refund and then sent me an email saying that I only get a partial credit NOT A REFUND! SO I called to ask why and then was told that I dont get a dime back because they received it 2 days late! So now are keeping my money! Eventhough I provided proof that I mailed it within the appropriate time frame.

I had the worst experience ever! Purchased the LAUNCHpad MIDI controller bundle with cases(179). I received the LAUNCHPAD but no MIDI controller or cases. When i called the first time i was told they would ship the rest. It's been almost a month. I've called, chatted online and emailed-all numerous times. The response i was told is that the items would ship from manufacturer. Also told to call the manufacturer which makes NO sense at all. I bought it from them and they think i'm going to call novation and ask where my order is- complete LIES! So, in a nutshell, i was told that the MIDI controller and cases are worth $10 and that is all they will refund or i can send back for a refund. NOT FALLING FOR THAT ONE!
Originally ordered item came damaged (I understand not Hifis fault). The damaged item was picked up by fedex and I called to speak with a rep about replacement options(this was a Fri). I explained that I was leaving town on an extended road trip and wanted to see if it was an option to get replacement to me by following Wed. (original order came in 2 days). Rep said it was and replacement would go out Sat or Mon. I called Monday multiple times. First time I was told it went out but I never received a tracking #. Second time Rep told me he couldnt get in touch with who he needed to talk to to give me an update and would call me back (never called back). Tuesday I called back again and nobody could find tracking # or tell me if it went out. Rep had to once again check with somebody and was to call me back (never called back). Wed I'm charged for the item and not offered an explanation of the mess that had ensued since original order arrived. I asked to speak with a manager (James) to discuss the process and I'm told he is "too busy to talk" and he will call me back. Still have not received a call from anybody. Customer service as bad as I have ever experienced, especially when you put so much info in package about leaving "positive" feedback. It seems that customer service is not a priority. I have spent multiple hours on hold trying to resolve this, for a question that should be able to be answered in 5 minutes. The item that I am ordering is $70 and Hifi is not the only place that sells it. Super unsatisfied! Go elsewhere even if it costs you more!
Got wiring harness for this car to put an aftermarket stereo in with Bluetooth in and it couldn't of been any easier. Will recommend Hifisound to anyone that needs connections
A vinyl record case was purchased from this company in the amount of $89.99. Upon receiving the item, both clapse were broken, therefore making the vinyl record case unusable. The item was purchased through Ebay and shipping was prompt, however, the item received was damaged. After calling the company customer service department, they directed me to email them with the item number and pictures of the item. I did this and received an email back stating that they would provide a partial refund of $5.00. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! They then told me the partial refund was for me to have the item "fixed" locally. I requested a full refund and they then responded saying they would give me $15 instead of $5. This was a case amounting to $89.99 and they only want to give me $15.00 for it when I told them if they would provide me with the shipping label, I would be more than happy to return the item to them at their cost (since they sent me a damaged item) and expected a full refund. They now will not get back to me. I called the customer service department once again, they asked me if the $15.00 refund was okay with me? I said "absolutely not! I want to return the item at your cost and receive a full refund." They put me on hold and after 10 minutes hung up the phone.
I ordered a vehicle specific speaker package for a Chevy HHR. The package included two 6x9 speakers as shown in the attached photo for the rear doors. I had not looked to see what type of speakers were installed in the back of the car. Turns out the Chevy HHR has four 6.5" round speakers. Cost to return the 6x9s $43.00 using FedEx as they recommend. They will NOT pay for return shipping even though this is their mistake.
The customer service was quick and friendly but could not help with the return costs no matter what I said or provided as proof of the misleading web page. AND, they have not corrected the web site.
All in all, I ended up buying a 2 din mount, a wiring harness and the speaker package. The packaging for the speakers was horrible but the look and work fine. Everything worked except the rear speakers. These needed to be exchanged for the same as the front speakers. I'm still waiting for these to arrive, I have been working on this install since the end of February, it is now March 27th
Order by mistake. Charge me $18.00 for shipping a pair of wires. Everybody knows usps has a flat rate of $8.00. Couldn't cancel the order on time. Sooo never again...

I paid $500 for a set of 4 slimpar64RGBA's for an upcoming wedding that I'd be DJing. Got an email from them a few days later that said the equipment was damaged and so the shipment was going to be delayed. I replied with a request to cancel the order and refund my money. John Cyril (a HSC customer service representative) replied the next day by saying no problem, we'll get that taken care of. Twelve days later I found a FedEx MPS shipping notification in my inbox which said the order that I cancelled had been shipped out of HSC's warehouse and was on its way to my address. The items were poorly packaged before being shipped; thus, some of the boxes that arrived were all dented up from being thrown around while in transit. After spending the time and money ($40 for shipping) to return a package that wasn't even supposed to be sent to me in the first place, HSC penalized me for their mistake by only giving me a $400 refund (they pocketed $100 of my money). Personally, I think this crooked company intentionally shipped the cancelled order just so they could claim a 20% restocking fee. Don't waste your time and money on hifisoundconnection..
Ordered an amp/subwoofer from their website, then realized (at the very bottom under "specs", which isn't where "condition" should be) that it was a refurb item. Emailed their customer service within minutes to cancel the order. Upon receiving my email, they responded that I could pay them $75 more for a new item or they'd charge me a $17 "cancellation fee". They were extremely rude and I've never heard of any reputable company punishing customers for accidental (or in this case, ordering something that didn't have a transparent condition noted) ordering. The standard process response should be: "Oh okay, no worries! The item hadn't even shipped yet, here's your money back!" Yet they want to charge people 10% of your total order (so if my order had been $1500 they'd want to keep $150 for providing me absolutely no product or service at all) if you cancel before shipment.

I placed an order for 2 Kicker 10s in hideaway box for a Nissan Truck. It was very hard to get it ordered(almost 3 hours). The website allows for shipment to a different address than the billing address of the credit card that I used to pay with. After seven attempts to complete the transaction it was finally successful. Then several hours later a RUDE associate calls me and tells me its there policy not to ship anything over $100.00 to a different address than the billing address. I tried to explain I own a used car lot, Roberts Motors, in Hickory NC and that I am at work alot more than home. He was very rude and said sorry for you but if you want I can stop the transaction. I ask for a supervisor and was told he did not have to get me intouch with anyone above him because they would just say the same thing. I called back and spoke to a lead customer service rep, Sam. I guess he was right she was as bad or worse than he was! If I treated my customers like that I would be out of business! Last time I will ever order from them. I hope they treat you better, but I do not think they will!
This 50% restocking fee on unopened speakers is a ripoff. I will never purchase anything from them again. I will make sure I post this on all my social media accounts.
Before ever doing my homework I went ahead and ordered a small subwolfer for my small car and the first one arrived fairly quick, thus the one star, anyway it arrived and just too big so didn't even take it out of the box, called the company and they gave me a return authorazation number and I found a replacement from them as well, good right? Whoa NOT they called me and let me know they would be charging me a restocking fee of 20%, remember never taken out of the box, the person Tim White he calls himself tells me that's the policy. Now I paid the $35.00 to get it back to them no problem. I Bought 2 12" Rockford Fosgate R1S412 from Hifisoundconnection. Now, when I bought them and the money had been sent through, ect. I didn't look for reviews on the website, I just bought them. A couple days after buying them, and no email, I did get a little skeptical so I called them to get an update. It was super nice to talk to an American that I don't have to have a translator sitting next to me to talk to. They told me an update on the item and also resent an email which I received the second time. After that, I looked for reviews on the site... well every site has them at 1 star for some reason. I read a lot about product not being what it should or not working or being in a fight trying to get their money back. Now I can't speak about getting money back because I won't be needing it.
What I got In the mail from them was quality items that work as should. I have ZERO issues. I'm a normal person, not paid to make a good/$#*!ty review. The subwoofer box was perfectly wrapped, the box it was delivered in was decent. Overall, I had a great experience with this company. If you've bought from them, give them a chance. I don't think you'll regret it. I took a chance and I'm happy I did.

I'd offer zero stars if it were a choice. They have a strong ebay presence, so if there is a way to steer people away from them over there, that'd also be a plus. I ordered (through their website, not ebay) 3 items in total, for around $200. The first item was a 5 channel amplifier for my car which a few days later I received an email stating that their "last item" was "damaged" and that I could get a different amplifier for a mere "$10 upcharge". I figured this was bait and switch, but I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I just asked them to cancel that part of the order, and they did. They refunded me the entire price of the item minus about a dollar, but I wasn't going to squabble over that. The 2-channel component speakers I ordered came in and look just fine, but I also ordered a 4-channel line output converter and received a 2-channel converter. I immediately (before even opening the packaging) sent them an e-mail, the requested pictures, etc. They sent back to me, "we'd like to offer you a $10 store credit on your next purchase." Right. Like I'm ever going to order from these folks again. After going back and forth with them for over a week now exchanging emails, and finally just asking for a refund of the purchase since it was obvious they weren't ever going to send me my 4-channel converter, they have stopped responding whatsoever.
I'm now filing with the FTC (non-receipt of ordered item), the BBB, and going to places like here, in an effort to steer people away from their business.

Ordered lights on Friday and their sales agent said it would be shipped out Monday and I will receive it Thursday with 3 day ground fedex delivery. I specifically said I need the lights by Thursday for an event.
I Emailed and requested for tracking number on Monday. Got a reply saying it would be shipped that night. On Tuesday morning, still no tracking number received. I called by the afternoon and was told the package will be shipped that night. I expressed to the customer svc rep that it is a day LATE and will need it shipped via 2 day ground so it will still be received Thursday. The rep seemed to have no control of the situation and said he will call me back to see what he can do.
I didnt get a call back and I received a tracking number on Tuesday night instead. Found out pkg will be shipped on Friday, which is no use to me since my event is on Thursday night.
This company is a disgrace to the event industry professionals. Rest assured your lack of professionalism and accountability will be known in the whole Tristate area of MD, DC, VA. I sit on the board for all of the event networking groups and my experience will be shared.

This website and business is quick to pass the buck and not accept resposibility! Item was ordered from Missouri which they are located and to be delivered to Illinois! This is next day standard shipping depending the time that you order! That is standard within all main states next to each other especially with large cities! FedEx and UPS always!
Well, I ordered a item and it took multiple days to arrive and no one has answers and is too late for what I needed the item for! And of course if you return it because if someones horrible work ethic within the business, we are to be charge a 20% restocking fee when the Effed Up the order. I called them/Hifi and I stated you record the conversations and your customer service employee stated that the item I ordered would arrive as above stated, no if ands or butts! And, you/hifi customer service should have that recorded conversation and support what was stated and recorded unless you was lying and jus not being honest in anyway! Was blown off and product was late! Horrible! Will never order again!

I purchased a speaker set last month that was advertised as a factory replacement for my vehicle at a reasonable price. It arrived quickly and appeared to be new product. That's where the positives ended.
When I opened the boxes they had different connectors than the factory speakers and one set wasn't even close to fitting the cut outs... They tried to sell me adapters (the wrong ones) and when I questioned the fit and requested an RMA I was told I would have to pay for shipping. I questioned how they could sell a product that wasn't a factory replacement as advertised and I shouldn't have to pay for shipping. Several calls and a disconnected chat line later I finally ended up calling and disputing the charges with the credit card company. Now they are saying I may have to pay a 20 percent restock fee because the dispute has taken more than 14 days Their own receipt says they strive for 5 star reviews and will make things right at no cost to myself if there is a mistake or damaged product... This is a boldfaced lie... PLEASE look at their return policies closely or better yet, do not purchase anything from these guys...
If you are tempted by their good prices only buy under the umbrella of Ebay because that is the only people they seem to try and make things right by to try and keep their sellers status in good standing. There are thousands of bad reviews on these guys online and their status with BBB is poor... Do not look strictly at the ebay reviews which is what I mistakenly did... They do not accurately reflect this companies true nature...
