Shady players. Found additional $67 "service and recovery" fee on top of $180 fee for one night's stay at a hotel. Have been on hold for half an hour with no answer. Hotel was charging $170 if you dealt directly with them. My bill came out to $246. Call hotel directly to avoid being scammed like I was
Terrible experience. Almost double price charged. Please, scroll down on your mobile, the final price is far below the pay button and is much much higher.
Hi Marcel, we are sorry you had this experience. Just like when you book through a hotel directly, Guest Reservations must charge its customers for all applicable taxes, including any hotel taxes. Additionally, by charging a service fee for all of its reservations, we are able to offer 24/7 customer support and operate as an independent travel network. Guest Reservations conspicuously discloses all fees and taxes on its checkout summary webpage, asking customers to check a box acknowledging these before they enter their payment information. Despite our transparency, we remain concerned about your experience. Please provide us your reservation # and the email address used at purchase and we will respond with the next steps. Thank you.
I booked a room at 138 rate and when I received the receipt in the email it was 204. Statement said it was taxes. I called several times to "customer service" and they claimed those were the fees! I asked to cancell and they said they had to transfer me. I stayed on hold for 20 minutes TWICE. And was hung up on! This site portrays itself to be website of the place you are staying then hits you with fees outside the rate! SCAM SCAM SCAM!

Had the misfortune of booking a holiday to Bali through Guest Reservations
Price on their site was Australian $1108 for 12 nights
After giving credit card details money was immediately taken At the bottom of page was a summary which stated price was per night
Immediately canceled booking only to find out their terms stated that I would have to have booked the accommodation 2 days prior
Now out of pocket Australian $******* with no booking
Fact Guest Reservation has no affiliation with the hotel (as advised by the Resort)
Fact Hotel never received confirmation
Fact Hotel never received cancellation
Fact Hotel never had availability for the requested dates
Please advise if you have been ripped off by these Texans
Fact no where did it say price was per night

This company resells hotels rooms and than adds a surcharge fee that is nearly 25% of the room cost and then says you can't cancel the reservation because of hotel policy. Hotel Policy was check-in day by 4:00 PM. When I called Customer Service they refused to help and barely speak English.

This company charged me $60 over my reservation rate. Call the hotel instead of booking through this company

BE CAREFUL! I searched for Embassy Suites Hotel and the first site that popped up was Embassy Suites Hotel guest reservations. It makes it seem as if you are on the official site of Embassy Suites. YOU ARE NOT! Once you choose your room and put your credit card number in you come to the " Complete Reservation" button at bottom of page, at least it looks like bottom of page. IT IS NOT! If you scroll down a little more, there is where you will find the non refundable portion of the reservation. The "Complete Reservation " button should be the LAST thing on the page. I called them maybe 10 minutes later to cancel and they refused even though the reservation isn't until three months from now. I feel totally scammed and wonder how they can possibly get away with this!

I thought when I was booking this reservation, it was with the hotel itself. The web address is misleading as is the cancellation policy. I immediately canceled this and made a reservation through the hotel as soon as I realized. Guest reservations charged 60 dollars more for their reservation, but when I canceled, guest reservations charged me the whole amt of the hotel reservation and would not refund my money. I tried calling to see if nothing else maybe they could reinstate my reservation so I wouldn't be out of the money, but they were not even willing to do that. I have never dealt with a company who were not willing to help a customer.

I tried to cancel my reservation (literally 10 minutes after I made the reservation) and they were anything but helpful. They kept coming up with reasons why they couldn't refund my money. Made several calls to get the issues straightened out with Guest Reservations

Pretty experienced traveler - booked on line. After I press to book, the prices literally changed in front of my eyes and doubled in cost. Immediately called them, won't permit any changes. Talked to 4 different reps. They hang up on you, pretend to be transferring to supervisor and cut off. Finally filed a complaint with MasterCard. If they've done this to you as well, complain to cc company. If they get enough similar they suspend the company.

THEY ADVERTISE A VERY ECONOMICAL RATE AND THEN ADD ON RIDICULOUS CHARGES. Booked a one night stat advertised as $255 and the fee charged was $398.00 (per them, taxes and fees). Tried to cancel and they do not refund (even though the hotel allows cancellation within 24 hours). Their terms and conditions covers them for any sort of class action suits. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!

I booked by telephone thinking I was dealing with the hotel booking service but apparently the booking was through this agent. I selected a hotel at Dubai airport because we were due to arrive late at night after a long journey. We tried unsuccessfully to find the hotel after we arrived and when we spoke to the hotel directly they advised that we could not enter because it was a transit hotel available only to those with connecting flights who had not passed through immigration. The hotel directed us to request a refund from "guestreservations". I have attempted to contact them through their website, by email and by telephone but have not received a response. This was not a cancellation or a "no-show" - after a gruelling journey we were desperate for a bed. We booked and stayed in another hotel after two hours at Dubai airport and fear we have lost the $320 we paid up front. We just want to warn others against using this website. Richard W

guestreservations.com is a continuation of the old hotelvalues rip-off site. They were too stupid to change their email return address. DO NOT USE. They don't allow cancellations and sneak fees of 40% a night onto the bill. How they get away with it is beyond me. Avoid.

Stay far far away from this site. It pulled a complete bait and switch where it made it look like the price was $634 for three nights. Oh no. That was the per night price plus over $900 in fees. The total price came to nearly $3000. And the best part—they show you the final price or give you the fine print until after you click "confirm." Turns out it's non-refundable even if you call one minute later. And forget customer service. They leave you on hold, hang up on you, claim a supervisor will call you back (they don't). Run. Run run away.

When we checked in we were told they are cleaning the room but when we went to it, there was no cleaning going on. We had a room on the ground floor, once in the room the problems started, there is a busted up la desk on the bed, the bed smelled of perfume and had make up on the sheets and crumbs in the bed, the bedside phone was busted, the lampshade on the door side of the bed had dried up blood, and mold on it, the lamp was rusted, if you needed the other lamp you had to unplug the bedside one, broken doors, rusted door frames, holes in the walls, sink was broken, bathtub curtain rod falling off the wall, filthy floor, we had to tolerate it for 1 night sleeping on top of the comforter and our coats as blankets, tv only had a fuzzy picture, the furniture is broken, during the night people trying the door handle, could it get any worse, lo and behold at 630 am we get woken up by screaming arguing guest AND their dog barking, continental breakfast nope the furniture is all stacked up and the area blocked off, your choice a filthy coffee pot cold cereal and milk out of a fridge that was not plugged in overnight, 2 doors down from us the room is boarded up where a car drove through it, broken down trailers and construction equipment in the parking lot, the front desk says sorry they are waiting on furniture from Wyndham to replace all the broken stuff... this should be a negative star review we were refunded thankfully DO NOT STAY HERE ps the cleaning staff thinks the place is a joke too and they only change sheets every other day to save money apparently that applies even if other guests have stayed in the room

This service charges more than the room I booked! They are a useless third party! They charged me $170 for a $170 room, doubling the price! WTF?!?!

Guestreservation is corupt charged me $180. Instead of $131.00 without letting you know untill you give them your credit card and then refuses to refund your money when you call them back right away to cancel. The sheraton and marriotte hotels should be ashamed to let this corrpt company reserve for them as well as google for allowing this company on their website. Google, sheraton and marriotte hotels should have a responsability to protect their users as well as their clients.

Guest Reservations purported to be hotel website - quoted me £198 but charged me £396 and gave booking.com reference to the hotel with a of £243. Nothing to do with booking. Com. Hotel will charge me £243 after my stay so I'll be paying £396 plus £243 in total after a quote of £198. Reported Guest Reservations to credit card fraud department. Also despite the quote saying free cancellations the small print says any cancellations after 6 Jan 2022 are non refundable!

Answer: I feel your pain. What's sad is that this company is an affiliate of Expedia
Answer: Literally the same. Hope you get reimbursed! Good luck!
