Scam, liars, deceitful and not helpful
May 7, 2024

First prices aren't accurate as you don't see the final price till you hit the pay button and get extra charges at the end, they lie, and they won't help you with any complaints, just say they have a no cancellation policy. So here's my story, On May 5,2024 I used guest reservations to book a hotel room in Orlando. I filled out all the tabs on their website and went to submit the reservation. Their website stated Error and unable to process the request, and advised to submit again. So I resubmit the page for a second time and receive a confirmation on the website stating it was booked this time. Then when I look at my bank statement I see two charges for $280.42, less than two minutes apart. I check my email and observe two bookings and that both times went through, even though the website stated the first booking attempt did not go through. I contacted the company and canceled the second booking as it was clearly a mistake. The company advised they have a no refund policy and nothing they can do. I asked to speak to a supervisor and upon him getting on the phone he hangs up on me before I can even speak to him, so I called back and spoke to another representative. This representative said they will contact the hotel and if they agree to refund the room they will reimburse me as all of this was done the same day. Than I receive an email stating Guest Reservations contacted the hotel and the hotel advised they would not refund me and the hotel canceled the room. This was a lie, as I called the hotel afterwards and was told they were never contacted and both rooms are still booked under my name for the same date and time. The hotel advised as it was booked through 3rd party, that Guest reservations would have to cancel it and the hotel would be ok with refunding the room due to it being a double booking. They double checked accounting and guest services at the hotel to ensure they didn't miss any communication from Guest Reservations, and confirmed they did not get any request or any other forms from Guest reservations in regards to my booking. I Filed another complaint with Guest Reservation for a cancellation and refund and have not had a response yet. I am Asking for a refund for the double booking for $280.42 and still no response. Absolutely not ok or acceptable

Horrible service at check in and check out, wrong type of room and refused to correct the issuesroom
April 27, 2024

We purchased a king sized bed, full size suite, (non-refundable) from Priceline. On our receipt it specifically stated king bed, double suite. We had also requested a bathtub. This was for a stay on April 25 to 27,2024. I showed it to the front desk on check in. They refused to honor the booking and gave us the cheapest room in the hotel, a handicapped, a queen bed, a shower, a studio suite. They said to contact priceline, that they didn't have any available king beds and that Priceline had typed some code wrong, but our receiptand the buttonsthat we clicked were on our receipt.
We contacted priceline and they called the hotel to try to resolve the issues, to no avail. Priceline was told that there were no king beds the first night, but tgey did the second night. I went back to the front desk and she said, none were available the first day of our stay. She was the worst and most uncaring front desk clerk, that I have ever encountered in my life and we have traveled in 30+ to 40+ countries and all across the usa. She simply didn't care even a little bit about the customer's satisfaction or doing her job. The next morning another clerk didn't understand and told my husband that they had plenty of king bed suites with bathtub the previous night. I had early appointments that lasted all day. My husband tried to handle it, but the reservation had been made on my phone, so there were some additional issues. The hotel refused to move us or correct the issues. Priceline wanted codes to correct it, sent to my phone, while I was in meetings. Again, we stayed in a smaller room, with the wrong size bed and a shower instead of the tub. At check out the same rude lady, checked us out. When I said I was giving her a bad review, she made a sarcastic face and said thanks. She never; apologized or correct the booking or show any concern about customer service. The room was musty smelling, the lobby was musty smelling and the hallway smelled musty. I would recommend travelers to stay at another hotel. I started traveling as a child and have traveled for over 58 years and this is the first negative review that I remember ever writing about a hotel. I have stayed at this chain before with no problems, but this one was horrible. Carpets in the room needed shampooing, floor in the bathroom just looked dingy.

Poor Customer Service and outright liers
March 18, 2023

On 3/8/23 I was looking for a Hilton Hotel in a specific location, this website came up and it looked like the Hilton booking site, I never questioned it. Only I was looking for a specific location, after I went through the process I realized it was the wrong one, within 5 minutes of booking the darn thing. I called immediatly and that was when I found out it wasn't Hilton but this Guest Reservation site, they claim they couldn't switch the location and as it was non-refundable they could "request" from the hotel the money back. I put in a claim and was told in 48 hours I would get notification. I received an email of the cancelation and claim number email requesting a refund.

In the meantime I called the Hotel directly, they didn't have any reservation for me, not even a canceled one.

I waited the 48 hours and nothing came so I contacted them, replied to the email on the claimn asking what was the status, waited a day then called.

I was informed no refund would be given. I asked for them to send me an email of that and was told they couldn't. I called them a scam and I was going to let my credit card company know what they did and I've since reported them to the BBB.

Funny enough within 5 minutes of getting off the call I get an email from them only it was we got your call and hope you liked your service.

They may get great rates and be totally legit but if I was dealing with the hotel switching a location (even if the new city was more money which I'd pay) it could have been done on a non-refundable booking. This place just took my money for a mistake. When you are booking it they don't show you the location or address, just dates and room types. I really thought I was on Hilton's website.

I know I should have known better and I have learned a lesson for sure.

Just be very careful with this company. I will never use them again

Tip for consumers:

Make sure you have the right location as they don't go right to the city you looked up!!!

200€ FEES for a 380€ hotel room and a TOTAL 580€ LOST?
September 8, 2022

Very pissed. Unless I get a refund, I swear I will post this review everywhere I can think of especially on my LinkedIn 2000+ followers. They have answered to this review below making it look like they were going to fix things, they did not. The 580€ are out of our account.

These people impersonate hotel websites by creating subdomains with the hotel name inside it, in our case https://yotelsingapore.guestreservations.com and target people through Google Ads.
The issue is that they charge hallucinating fees at the last minute in the payment process when it's already too late.

Let me explain how this went for us.
We were about to book a reservation at a hotel that we are already clients with, the Yotel Hotel in Singapore. We noticed an unexpected additional 200€ charge just before the end of the payment process after we already had given our card detail.
So we didn't confirm the transaction by giving the OTP sent by phone from our bank, and left the page... Then we booked a room elsewhere.

BUT the full transaction went through anyway!
We called the hotel, they said we didn't actually book on their website but on the Guest Reservations website.
They had no possibility to cancel the room on their side and that we had to call these people and sort it out by ourselves.
Just so you know, calling them is useless: an AI voice server only tells you that you can cancel your booking if you wish but there's no way you are getting a refund.
That's the moment we realized, while being frequent travelers for the past 30 years, that we'd been scammed and just lost 580Euros for the very first time in our lives.

Amazing how these people have lots of great reviews. 4.2 stars from 35 000 reviews on Trustpilot, what a laugh!
That must cost them quite a bit, even bought from cheap review farms in Pakistan by very poor people to tell that they are doing such a wonderful job and giving them *****
That's OK because it's scam money, basically free money.
That free money, they invest it in Google Ads to trick even more people of course, until probably one day they end up in jail or worse. What a horrible way to make a living.

If you just look a bit closer you will see all the real reviews by angry, desperate people, you just need to type "guestreservation.com scam" for example.

Agoda, Booking and AsiaTravel also charge fees which is normal but charging a 50% fees is called stealing, especially because of the deceiving way of going through the payment process and not seeing the huge fees until you have actually already payed and it's too late.

Tip for consumers:

Never use it, if too late report it everywhere you can, if you're a person that can do something about it, count me in.

Left stranded in Jamaica by Guest Reservations
June 7, 2022

I booked a family vacation in Jamaica for 3 adults and my 15yr old son from April 13th to 19th. The vacation was booked following a pop up Facebook ad for a vacation deal in Montego Bay, when I clicked on the link, it gave me the number for Guest Reservations. I called the number, and booked the resort which was Secrets St. James. Prepaid $7,660.78 and received my email confirmation stating 3 adults and one child.

We then travelled to Jamaica, only to arrive at the hotel and be told that my 15yr old son cannot stay at the resort as their policy prohibits anyone under the age of 18. I showed the resort my email confirmation showing my booking confirmation for 3 adults and a child; however, they said there was nothing they could do, if I had booked with them directly they would have told me and that we should have been advised by Guest Reservations. I called Guest Reservations (on international roaming charges), stayed on the phone for over an hour with the representatives (approximately 50 minutes of which I was on hold) only to be told they are sorry and there is nothing they could do. They could not book us at another hotel because they were full for that Easter weekend, and they could not give us a refund unless the resort guaranteed they would be giving them a refund without penalty.
My family and I were left in Jamaica, no hotel, and no refund. After returning home, I called again on April 21st and was told that they were still trying to contact the hotel partner to make sure they would not be charged a penalty before refunding our money. I also asked for and received this in writing via email. Today is June 7th and I have not heard anything further from the company. I disputed the charge with my credit card company; however, Guest Reservations told the bank that they told me that there was absolutely no refund (even if you were denied entrance to the resort) and so they will not be refunding the money.
I would advise anyone considering this service to read the other horror stories of guests who have been ripped off by this company. Under no circumstance should you book with this company. My booking number was R*******298, I have notified the Jamaica Tourist Board about this scam and fully intend to sue Guest Reservations while also posting about this experience on all available review boards.

Fraudulent- do not use
December 28, 2021

I inadvertently used this website as their page was title "greatwolflodgenewengland. Guestreservations" charged me $130 over the reservation price. As soon as I received the email confirming the reservation I realized that it was not GWL and called to cancel- the refused to refund me the $433 they charged me 10 minutes before. I'm now disputing it with my credit card company. Buyer beware

Tip for consumers:

Don’t! Or read the fine print for cancelations
