Do NOT book your reservation with this site! Unfortunately it came up first in my Google search for the hotel and I was fooled by it. There are hidden fees and you will not be told what exactly you are paying for. When I asked, I was hung up on. I booked two rooms and the hotel has no record of the second room. All attempts to speak to the site's customer service have not helped. They claim to be in contact with the hotel, but the hotel cannot confirm what they tell you. Use a more reputable site...
We had reservations at the Seahorse, but between a VERY rude manager and dirty bedding, when we told management they told us to come get our money back and leave, So we found this other place, the siletz beachfront and I have to say I am so glad we did. The price was the same as the other and they offer so much more, clean beds, great view from the balcony, free breakfast, was good, we love waffles, we had a good stay here and the staff we spoke with were friendly. I recommend 100%.
As for the Seahorse I would give them -10 plus. Bad bad place don't stay here.
Most reservation sites collect their fees from the hotel, not you. This site can look like the official hotel site, especially if it's not a chain hotel, but it is not. The 70$ fee they tagged on to the reservation was way at the bottom of the pay page well below the"reserve" button that you see it too late on your phone after you hit reserve. Nice trick to grab an extra 70$. It's my fault for not scrolling all the way down before hitting reserve, but these tactics are dishonest is all i can say

I cancelled my reservation the same day I made it and a few days later they still haven't refunded me. I called to talk to someone and there is only an automated message that was completely unhelpful.
I have been here for a total of 5 days wendsday through Sunday and every morning the breakfast is absolutely so cold, the eggs have so much water that the water fills up the plate the biscuits are so doughy that they leave dough stuck to your fingers, or they are soo burnt they hurt your teeth to bite into, the sausages are burn and taste like charcoal. I waited 27 minutes for orange juice to be filled to the point I had to go to front desk to ask them. Coffee was out two days in a row, the syrup was empty one day Waited 17 minutes on that. Wasn't very busy when I was here so why this happened or why the food was cooked this way no clue. I got sick the same day that I ate those biscuits the ones I thought was done and obviously was not… NOT HAPPY!

This site makes you think your at the hotels site. They booked me a room without me hitting my Credit cards confirmation code submit button. I called their customer service number and got no help. They said they would refund me 10%. Wow, they can stick my $14 dollars up their A$$. Do NOT use this company to book ANYTHING!

This company misrepresents its rate: they added $150 in taxes and fees to a $200 dollar booking. Didn't find out until I got the email confirmation.
I immediately called them, the man said there's nothing he can do!

My wife googled the name and location of the hotel that we previously stayed at when making our trip. When the website appeared, with a picture of the hotel, she booked a room thinking she had done so at the hotels pictured on the website. So on 7/12 made a reservation for 7/19. The very next day we found out our dates had changed. We called the hotel to change the date only to find out the reservation was actually made through Guest Reservations. We called Guest Reservation to change out hotel reservation date. We stated that we called the hotel and they had available rooms for our new date. The people at Guest Reservation said they could do nothing and we would have to pay for our original booking which will be empty on the 19th of July. Booking Ref. # *******2397

This company is a fraudulent rip off! I am a pretty savvy travel purchaser... this one got me. I was in a hurry... but always go to direct hotel site to book! Thought I had... my booking came to $422.00, I was charged $638.00... over 200.00 service fee! That is over 50% booking fee. My fault for not paying closer attention. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau... how many have been charged and had trips ruined?
They pretend to be the actual hotel and charged me $60 on a $200 booking as a "reservation charge." Luckily I was able to get part of this back, but the company is very deceitful and should not be allowed to stay in business.

This website looks like you're booking directly through the hotel but is in fact a third party site. It charged me a base rate significantly higher than the rate I selected and then added another $100 in fees to my booking. None of this was disclosed until I had my email confirmation. I will be putting a stop payment on my credit card and reporting the site.
You are better off booking through the main hotel website. Though this site appears to offer lower nightly rates, the taxes and "service fees" they are charging are exorbitant! For a 2 night stay, their nightly rate was about $23 cheaper, but the final bill after taxes and fees (of $167!) was $60 more than the hotel charged us. Do not use this site! You are not saving any money booking through them.

This site is a scam. They piggyback your booking via a legitimate company like bookings.com but charge an exorbitant handling fee. Complete charlatans.

For me it was 78% of quoted price added on! Ended up being $106 same room with hotels.com $72!
Refused to cancel just over 5mins after making order with not easy to get live agent customer service line
Found room on there site for $349 for 2 nights. Once I put in payment and confirmed then it says $913.78. Could not go back or make Change online. Called company in less than 5 minutes and they said them at they have a 100% non refundable policy and with no explanations of why the price jumped by $150%. Don't use this site.
Lesson learned to take your time when booking a hotel. Thankfully my booking fee was only 65$ where as I see people on here with booking fees in the 100s of dollars. They flood these site with hundreds of fake reviews to disguise their garbage business practices. Good luck trying to cancel any of their reservations after you realize your credit was charged way more then you were expecting. If me taking a hit means that maybe 1 person reads this before they book a hotel and is able to avoid this ridiculous company then it will be worth it.
