Waste of money and time. Restaurant is 5 min away. I am stuck in the office. 2 hours estimated time to get food and I cannot cancel the order because I do not have an account. Last purchase ever.
I would never order from Grubhub again. Lots of hidden charges. If you do order, make sure you know exactly how much they are charging. We were mislead, and our meal cost twice what it should have.

Today I have a one of the worst experience with grubhub automatically system orders " how grubhub representative told me ". I was trying to pick up one of the order from restaurant where I've been working, and I know a schedule tome for the order and name of customer I got all information even a number of this order. So the representative from grubhub told me he can't send request of this order directly to me because there system is automatically and it will be send it to the closer driver. I was right inside of this restaurant waiting for this order and guess what? It go to someone else! How is it possible if it's no one closer then me. You system is fuc... horrible. I've been a grub hub driver for a 3 years and never in my life got the catering order or anything bigger then 150$order. This is frustrating they don't appreciate their drivers and your system of order sending is broken. I am done, you will lost all your drivers, keep working like that, good job Super unfair Distribution
Absolutely horrible. Wish I'd read reviews before I ordered. Ordered from our local Taco Bell. My card was charged, we were given a delivery time. Then got at least FOUR delays totaling over an hour and a half. (I contacted them and they told me the food isn't made until a driver gets there.) During all this, Taco Bell closed. They charge your card, give you a delivery time before they even have a driver! They shouldnt do either until they KNOW they can deliver it! Now I have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund! Never again.
Food arrived an hour after it said it would. One of the sauces exploded over the food and the sushi arrived warm! I watched the driver go to to the restaurant via the app and then left didnanother delivery and then came back and picked up ours and then delivered it. They only refunded the 5$ portion that was covered in sauce. If I wanted gas station quality food I would have gone and got gas station sushi. Terrible that they don't protect their customer base and get their act together. If I could 0 stars I would have as that is the quality that they attained.
The food took an hour and a half to get delivered since I placed the order.The ETAs' kept being moved back. By the time the food finally arrived, All the rest of the guests had already eaten and were heading back home. Everyone was very shocked at the poor service! I've tried to remain patient with the delivery service, Even after the last time I ordered from them, A few days prior, Yet I never recieved my cream soda that I payed for either. Unfortunately this has been by far the worst service I've ever experienced. Needless to say, I will never order from this restaurant or use Grubhub again. A word of advice too, If you are hungry and plan to have dinner, Look elsewhere Otherwise you may as well plan on not getting to eat until breakfast the following day.
I've used GrubHub before without trouble, but the past couple of times, I would get my order (15 minutes late with no notification that it was delivered) and some food would be missing. Last time the driver ignored me when I texted him that I didn't get my chips and drink, so I went to the site and they gave me a refund-- for the missing food only. That means GrubHub gets to keep the fees I paid and the restaurant, which did nothing wrong, has to lose money. Grubhub is a scam and is screwing both customers and restaurants!

Wanted to order Taco Bell. Grub Hub estimated 35-45 minutes. Placed order. Estimate immediately changed to 60-70 min. Got an update that order would be about 20 minutes longer. Okay. Checked again and order would now be 90 minutes from order time. I called the delivery driver and he said he had an emergency and they're giving it to someone else. He said it would be a long time... it had already been about an hour and a half. Five minutes later we got a text saying our order has been cancelled because it's taking too long. Do not waste your time with this horrible "service". Thankfully, we had some food in the freezer to zap.
Sent in order at 7:45pm and was canceled. No explanation provided but was submitted before curfew time. The app excepted my order and the canceled.
I don't know why I've kept coming back to GrubHub. I. Am. Done. I've used them ten times and eight of those times my order was delayed anywhere from an hour to two and a half hours, sometimes only to be cancelled after that long of a wait, while I am sitting there starving. I ordered food because I was hungry you jerks! I have had incorrect orders, items missing, and the appearance of food having been picked at by the drivers. GrubHub is more expensive than other delivery services for way, WAY less quality service. If I could give it negative stars I would. You want a good delivery service? Go to Doordash. They charge less and I've never had an issue getting my food in a timely manner.
I ordered my meal at 7:16 and was told to expect it in 35-45 minutes. At 8:56 I contacted my driver asking about my order. He texted me back at 9:11 saying he had my food and would arrive in 15 minutes. At 9:37 Grubhub contacted me saying my order was canceled because the restaurant had closed. When I called Grubhub customer service they said "sorry they were closed try tomorrow because we will have more drivers". She couldn't explain why my driver said he had my order and was on the way.

I HaveTried Them Twice. The first time the app changed the address and zip code automatically and they never apologized and I got my food extremely late and stone cold. The Service Sucked. I finally tried them again about 2 years later. I changed and put in the correct address again. I watched the app car tracker & after it said it was on it's way, the car never moved for 17 minutes. The it went the wrong way. The driver called me finally from a number that identified from clear across the country. I thought it was one of those Robot Calls. Finally after a very very long time I called the driver from the app, because I checked and the address switched again completely. I told the driver and waited. An an hour & 15 minutes have gone by now. Finally I get a call from his boss. Now I speak 2 languages and I am very used to dealing with people how are speaking with a heavy accent. No worries I'm patient. Well the boss was extremely hard to understand. He also called from a number from clear across the country but this time I answered because of before. He informed me that they would not be bringing me our dinner at Call. It now had been an hour and 40 minutes. But I could start the process all over again. He was very rude and I wouldn't get my money back for 5 business days. This was a Special occasion on a Friday Evening. Now We didn't have enough money in our account to have dinner. Other Times We've used DoorDash and They are Fast, Kind & The Food arrives Piping Hot & Fresh. I deleted The GrubHub App!
On June 5,2020, my wife ordered food from Lucia's Smokehouse Barbecue, through Grubhub at 11:00am, they said it be here at 12:00pm, which was great since I'm working at home.
At 12:10, the Grubhub driver was still on his way, by 12:20, we found out from Grubhub, that the driver, Jesse E. Had delivered our lunch at some else house, with out, knocking or confirming whether that householder even ordered it!
That householder called Grubhub and let them know they didn't order anything from Lucia's Smokehouse Barbecue.
We had Grubhub reverse the charges and I will NEVER use them again.
2 hours, 2 different drivers and no food, the second driver didn't even respond to the rep. From Grubhub. Asked to speak to supervisor and she said that she would give me a $25 voucher... So I said "ok I'll play baseball and when trying to order the same meal and use the voucher it said my voucher was not valid due to not enough spent in order. I'll need to spend triple the amount of my original orders price to redeem the voucher... Thanks! On top of that they also took my $40 in peaks/cash value that all the sudden disappears. TRASH
Grubhub offered free delivery after signing up and clicking the "get your first order delivered free" pop up. Didn't happen. A meal totaling $18.00 worth of food without the tip costs us $32.00 after fees and tip. Driver was early which was fine and pleasant. Costs were just ridiculous for the convenience of not driving to pick it up. Deleting app. Not worth it.
The past two experiences with Grubhub drivers has been negative. On one occasion, the driver left half of our order at the restaurant. He did not go back to get the rest of it. Had to get a refund for the remainder of the order from GrubHub. Today the driver, a person named Yang, picked up the order, said he delivered it, when he did not. Who knows who has the order, if the driver merely kept it for himself. I again had to contact GrubHub for a refund. Think twice before using Grub Hub service. Unreliable.
I got the confirmation for my order and 40 minutes later they told me they were canceling because they did not have up to date prices from the restaurant. They also say you get free delivery your first order, I tried for too long to figure it out and gave up because it wouldn't work. Don't waste your time.
Ordered through Grub Hub. Got confirmation of the order. Got confirmation order on the way, then for cancellation the exact time it was supposed to be delivered. This was for a work lunch and I had Tor run to get another order. Not cool. This was my first and last time using GrubHub
