It took 1.5 hours to get from our online order to the driver to order. We ordered pizza that was going to take 3 hours to receive. We cancelled the order. We'll never use GrubHub again.
Wish I could put 0 stars. Did not receive order and waited an hour to get food. GrubHub could not "get in contact with driver" to solve the problem and only offered refund without option to receive order again without going through the whole order process. Really disappointed with the lack of competence. Called to inquire about the order and they hung up on me.
After ordering and getting a 30 minute delivery window that came and went while I tracked the driver sitting in her car, the tracking went out and then reappeared with a new driver. That reset their delivery another 30 minutes for burger and fries. When the order was finally delivered to my front porch, the driver was smoking and the bag and drink cut stunk like cigarettes. Inside the food was, of course, cold, soggy and inedible. I had called Grubhub and requested a fresh order with the new driver and they insisted it would be. It was not.
Grubhub is not worth it! From now on I'll save the money for tipping slacker, garbage employees and the delivery fee.
Ordered food waited a hour! For them to tell me that my order is delayed! So waited additional hour! Just for them to text me and said my order is CANCELLED! And to top it off they say it will take up to 5 business days to get my money back! Never ever again!
My son was in the hospital with a kidney disease at children's mercy in north kc. Put my order in on the app. The expected wait time a little over an hour. 3 hours later my order was canceled via email making it to late to go and get any food for me and my wife. Will never use your service again. As far as I'm concerned I could have drove to my home an hour and a half away made sandwiches then drove back having better results than this company that is TRYING to be convenient.
Completely and utterly worthless and aggravating. I'm pissed off. 3rd time these lazy bastards stood me up with an hour notice. I'm hungry.

DO NOT EVER Use The Grubhub App And Order Food. Numerous Times They Have Charged Me And My Boyfriend For The Food We Ordered But NEVER DELIVERED IT. They'll Just Keep Delaying Your Order Over And Over, Before You Know It You'll Be Sleeping For The Night With NO FOOD And A Credit Card Charge. I Literally Had To Get Up & Go Pick Up My Order Myself. I Made The Order Before 8pm And Its 9:30PM. Yes I Called Customer Service And Made A Complaint, They Didnt Seem To Care They're Just Refunding Me The Delivery Charge. Horrible Customer Service

I am furious and will NEVER use your service again. Ordered food and ask for contactless delivery. Sat a chair outside my fence. Driver came. Sat outside my house I assumed it was not grubhub because the person never got out of the car. Watched them drive away. Didnt get my food. Called customer care and was offered 50 percent off NEXT ORDER but never recieved my current order! Was told I would get a refund in A WEEK! This is ridiculous and unacceptable! Door dash would never do this!
Food order was late, didn't receive all of our food and what we did receive was damaged. Driver couldn't speak English. Customer service did give us a refund on the missing food but wouldn't make good on replacement. I had men working at the house to feed so I ordered again thru DoorDash and had no issues. This isn't the first time I have had issues with GrubHub. Will most likely never use them again.
I tried to give GH the benefit if the doubt, but I've had too many cancelled orders and deliveries where they kept pushing out the delivery time more than 2 hours. This last time their excuse was they were short on drivers. I can understand that, but dont confirm delivery times of 30-45 mins if you're going to keep pushing the delivery time out more than an hour after initial time stated. Hey didnt even let me know when the order was pushed back. When our food was never delivered, they would not refund us the tip to the driver who never delivered the food! Terrible service. Untrustworthy company. Please use any other food delivery service.
They took over two hours to deliver my food. Actually I got tired of waiting so I cancelled. Who knows how much longer it would have taken. When I called the customer service number the guy lied to me and said the delivery guy was picking it up and on his way to my place. Thirty minutes later when I called the restaurant they said nobody has picked up my order yet. This service has gone way downhill the last year. I'm never using it again.
The drivers seem to play a little game where they will accept as many pick-up/deliveries as possible and then delay delivering them because they have too many orders to deliver, The restaurant finished up my order, but $#*! driver postponed picking it up: adding 20 minute windows multiple times. If they were honest up front about an 1:30 minute delivery window, I would have ordered it as pickup and just go and get it myself.
I ordered food at 7:12pm and by 8:30pm (after calling customer service and texting the driver) I was told that my order was cancelled by the driver but I wasn't notified. I was given refund, I ordered yet again from the same restaurant but different location, and hour later my food finally comes, my drink has dirty water droplets on outside from drivers dirty hands that filled the drink. Then I open the bag and the sandwich is missing. I call customer service yet AGAIN and I'm told I can have a refund but there's nothing else he can do for me. Completely dismissive of my frustration and the service I received on multiple occasions in one night! Grubhub is the worst delivery service EVER! I recommend UberEats over this sucky place any day.
I will not use grub hub again. I put in an order to be delivered, but some how it was switched to pick up, and I am unable to drive. They claimed for some odd reason that they couldn't switch it back, and I can't get a refund for 5 days; No food & No money
They do robbery with customers and sometimes i feel they sell our data also, because everytime i used them, i start getting all these stupid emails and calls for marketing offers and they go away, if i use grubhub i start getting it. And every restaurant hates it
No one wants to take responsibility when an item is missing; neither the driver or the restaurant. Driver lied and said missing item was in the bag. It was not. Called restaurant and they would not reimburse me for missing item. Told me to call grub hub. What a joke. It was simple for the cost to be taken out of my bank account, but no one wants to refund me for an item I did not receive. POOR SERVICE! Who will get the money that I paid for my missing item?
If i could give no star i would horrible customer service hard working dad trying to order dinner for my family no values no morales just horrible service.
My issue with this service is that you have to tip upfront and there is no opportunity to rate the drivers. I have had some wonderful delivery folks and some really awful ones. It's a true grab bag and can be quite frustrating at times.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
