Absolutely do not recommend. Order is never correct, always missing items. The average wait time has normally been around two hours for a half correct order.
Ordered on yelp, usually the app updates on status but did not do this. Then I got, not one but Two text messages saying my food was on its way to my home. 35 mins go by and still nothing. Mind you I placed my order over an hour ago now and it exceeded the delievery eta. I not only waited longer than I expected but was mislead additionally thinking my food was coming and then had to call and cancel and was informed I didn't have a driver assigned yet. I canceled and had to go get my food myself. Not pleased at all!
I have ordered from Grub Hub twice now. Once a month ago, and again yesterday. The first time without notice and not until after 9 pm they cancelled my order without explanation or notice. I called the restaruant and they didn't have any answers for me. I thought i would give them another try, After carefully reviewing several restaurants, we narrowed our choice down and ordered our food around 7 pm. We were SOOOO looking forward to our dinner. I believe the ETA I received was 8:15-8:45 pm arrival time. No problem, I didn't expect it right away. Around 9 pm I went into my account and it said the food was delivered at 8:15 pm. We ran outside looked all over. Went to the neighbors house, nope, no food. Then I went and had a chat with Grub Hub. They got back to me and apologized that my food hadn't arrived. They said they tried to contact the driver and were unsuccessful. At this point it is close to 9:15 pm. Clearly too late to order from anyone else. I asked them why it said the food was delivered, and what happened. They said they didn't know and officially cancelled my order. I will NEVER order from them again!
Anniversary dinner tonight! I ordered dinner twice and was NEVER delivered. Still charging me! WTH
I ordered from GrubHub and never received my food. I got messages saying it was on the way and finally one that said it was delivered and on my doorstep. Wrong. I waited an hour and had I'd known this was going to happen, I would have called Ubereats. Stay away from this place. I called the restaurant and they said they don't do business with them. Hopefully I don't have to fight to get my 30.00 refund. Kansas City.
There is a problem with delivery drivers. I don't know what it is, and I don't care. Grub Hub offers a service that they can't provide. Good food sits and waits and spoils, waiting for delivery drivers that don't care or don't come or are too underpaid to give a Sh:"t. I don't own a restaurant, but if I did, I wouldn't hang my hard earned reputation on a shaky organization like this. If you like bad service and cold food, please use Grub Hub!
Never received my food. Even though food had been ready for a long time, almost 3 hours after ordered, no driver. Don't use this service!
My order was cancelled by Grubhub's driver, without my notification or consent, an HOUR after I'd placed it because the driver had an altercation with the restaurant's staff. No explanation was given to me regarding the cancellation until I wrote in to chat with a Grubhub customer service staff member. Both the original staff member I chatted with and the member's supervisor offered no apology or concern for the situation even after I revealed that my hungry child had burst into tears when I told her our foid would not be arriving. Grubhub even suggested that I take matters into my own hands by contacting my bank to inquire about a refund. I was astounded by how inadequate my experience with Grubhub turned out to be. I advise future consumers to avoid Grubhub altogether.
It is overwhelmingly incomprehensible how negligent their staff and drivers are. In spite of the many years as a loyal customer to their brand and service. I have a track record for using Grubhub services twice per week, on average. I have been a consistent and loyal customer of Grubhub and I have yet received any consideration from them to rectify the poor service, incorrect deliveries, slow drivers, and mediocre customer support. These issues occurred even prior to the recent acquisition by Just Eat Takeaway and I anticipate will continue to perpetuate even under this new European brand. This is why I am officially ending my membership and business with GrubHub.
The competition in the food delivery space is increasing exponentially and it baffles me to see such mediocre care for good customers by GrubHub knowing the insurmountable risk that surrounds the company and its workforce.
After over 8 years of consistent customer loyalty I hereby discontinue and disengage from conducting any form of business as a customer and as of this upcoming Monday I will dissolve all my GRUB stocks.
I encourage you all to follow my direction.
They owe me some money and not only did I not get my it, I am not getting my money back. I will never use them again. VERY BAD BUSINESS.
The address magically changed after I placed my order. I contacted them to correct, they said they had it and confirmed. The driver called, I gave him the correct address. He delivered to the wrong place and refused to go get it and make it right. He was rude and mean. I will never use Grubhub again!
The customer service is horrendous and does not do anything at all to help the customer. Everytime I call for a problem its always, theres nothing we can do. I will be deleting thebgrbhub app and using doordash from now on
I ordered my food and the person didn't pick it up until almost an hour later and she never came to my home. The time the food was supposed to arrive at my house kept getting pushed back so I tried to call the driver and she didn't pick up. Not only did she not pick up, but the voicemail read out a number that wasn't even the one that I called! So I tried to call customer service but they kept me on hold and then a computer or robot asked me how well I was assisted. I said I was never assisted and the phone hung up. We had to call customer service again and finally got a person. She wanted to give me a promo code for 10% off for a future purchase but I wanted to cancel. I was looking at where the driver was going on the map and she was just going further and further away from my house and the grub hub customer service person said that she was at another customer's house. I ended up getting a refund and the restaurant that I wanted to order from was closing in less than 10 minutes because of this debacle with grub hub. Fml. Will never order from grub hub again.

Food delivery is soooo slow and the options are below par, very disappointed the food delivery is always late and the food is disappointing!

Ordered from grub hub who was unable to deliver. Instead of accepting responsibility they blamed the restaurant for not having the order. The restaurant had already called me saying grub hub hadn't secured a driver and they were willing to stay open late if we were able to pick it up ourselves. Epic fail on grub hub, super shady to blame the restaurant. Will not be using it again. Try Postmates.
Been waiting for 40 minutes and the food should be here in 20 minutes and the just cancelled our order stating they couldn't fulfill our order.
Three times I ordered from GrubHub in the middle of the day to be delivered by 6 at night and every time that they've delivered they were over three hours late! Ridiculous I will never use GrubHub again I'll go back to doordash in a minute
I have tried Grubhub several times each time thinking it was a fluke it will be better next time and it never is. I am done at this point. They take longer than anyone else, the orders are never right and they dont allow you to rate the drivers and the food which is probably the problem. If they had a feedback system that the used to improve they might be better. Door dash and Uber eats are great, efficient, orders are correct and you can provide feedback on the orders.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
