I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW GRUBHUB CREDIT CARD DECLINED WHEN THEY WENT TO PICK UP MY ORDER AND THEN LIED TO ME SAYING THE CC MACHINE AT THE RESTAURANT WAS DOWN. I CALLED THE RESTAURANT TO CONFIRM THIS WAS ACCURATE. THE RESTAURANT TOLD ME THE CREDIT CARD MACHINE WAS WORKING AND IT WAS GRUBHUB CC THAT HAD BEEN DECLINED! THE SUPERVISOR THAT I SPOKE TO NAMED CASSANDRA DID NOT CARE ABOUT THE SITUATION AND WAS EXTREMELY RUDE! I SUGGEST USING A DIFFERENT DELIVERY SERVICE! REALLY WHAT KIND OF BS IS THAT?
I did not want to order through Grubhub this evening because of the last 2 bad experiences but my boyfriend wanted chinese and his favorite place was added so we gave another shot. So estimated delivery time was 35-40 minutes. Put our order in at 7:06 pm & when we checked to see where it was the order delivery time was changed to 8:45 pm! Wtf! The restaurant is seriously less than 10 minutes away. Just text the driver and apparently after taking our order he drove a half hour away to do something else before getting our food! So now we have to figure out what to do for dinner again. DONE WITH Grubhub!

So I ordered about 30 gift cards to give to employees for a virtual lunch and learn. Do you think they can provide a receipt so I can get reimbursed? Hell no. They absolutely suck in customer service. When I called the dude that answered acted like he was high as a kite. Great... Don't use them.
Ordered 6 tacos... grub hub calls in and ordered 15 tacos. Wasted time, wasted food, wasted gas(sorry driver). Grub hub screwed the restaurant ( they made the tacos) the customer and their driver. Wouldn't recommend, will not use grub hub ever again.

Ordered over $50 of food 45 mins before the restaurant stopped taking delivery orders. 1st driver on his first day and didn't know what to do so drove around for an hour. Called Dudhub and told them the driver doesn't know where to go and I just got off phone. Dudhub assigns a new driver 2 hours later and then they fully cancel the order. Call driver #2 and he said he didn't want to get out of his car so he cancelled. Call Dudhub and they say the restaurant is no longer taking deliveries so they can't send someone to pick it up even though my food has been ready for 2 hours. Was told I could go pick it up myself if I wanted..
Anyone saying grubhub has good customer service has never had an actual issue that they've taken up with their CS. It is virtually nonexistant.
Sure they have a number you can call but that deaf, blind, stoned moron on the other end is barely going to understand you, much less assist you.
And this wasn't somebody hard at English, i have patience for that, as long as they are trying. This dude did not care in the slightest; put me on hold 3 times and it was the simplest request in the world: Can I get a refund for 1 month of subscription I didn't use. THREE HOLDS. At that point I'm just assuming you're finishing up your game of fortnite, or need to focus while you wipe the drool from your chin.
And of course they told me no, had to get the almighty supervisor to make the final decision: "we can't refund you but how about $10 credit blahblah (farting sounds)."
I told them to hold on to it, I'm not using grubhub again and they clearly need the money more than I do.
$174 order & they tried to charge my card $221. Website has many glitches making the customer have to login & out multiple times for each step.
Food FINALLY ARRIVED 1 1/2hrs late! Sandwich was soggy, ice cream melted and arrived after my bedtime at 10:00pm. Was supposed to arrive by 8:15pm. I'll use DOORDASH next time. Called customer service and they juggled me around to different customer service reps who left me on hold for 20 minutes and I hung up in frustration. JUST TERRIBLE SERVICE!
We place an order tonight at 7:20 and 8:20 still no driver assigned by 9:20. We call the restaurant food is sitting there and still no driver assigned and no communication from Gruhub. They are the absolute worst!
I'm normally not the complaining type of person but come on. I understand we are in a pandemic with all the social distancing etc etc but dropping a food delivery off on the steps without 1. Calling or 2. Sending a text or 3. Ringing the bell or 4. Knocking on the door or LITERALLY ANYTHING is extremely unacceptable to me. Our food (open bag food) sat on the steps for 20 minutes without us knowing anything about it. A area high in crime & RODENTS. Ordered a pizza and wings from Papa Johns, with a delivery of 4:30 p.m. (This was around 3:15 p.m.) At 3:45 everything showed up - when I complained they blew me off but blamed GrubHub for failing to tell them about the delayed delivery. No ordering from Papa John's or GrubHub again.
Grubhub tried to charge me twice for items in my order. I wonder how many people have been ripped off because they did not pay attention to the billing for an order.
Using grubhub for my order failed on all levels Including taking 5 days to refund me for an order that was never even placed let alone delivered. When i abandoned using the delivery they said i could pick up my order at the restaurant and found out the order was never placed. The restaurant told me not to use grubhub again because of continued problems with them.
I tried to use my gift card with Grubhub and it immediately charged my debit card. I called 1 minute after the order was placed and was told my case would be escalated to a manager and I would be contacted in 48-72 hours. Never heard rom anyone. Called and spoke to someone who couldn't help me at all because he didn't understand my situation and kept telling me about a promo code that had NOTHIng To do with my problem. Then I emailed the gift card services to see if they could help and haven't heard anything. Worst most incompetent service I've ever gotten from a business that claims to help people will never use again.
I've tried ordering from them twice. Both times the delivery would be delayed for over two hours, and then they would just cancel the order entirely. They did refund, but this is ridiculous!
This company has such awful customer service. They have no clue that restaurants are not accepting orders from them take your money then try and offer 20 dollar discount... they took money from and elderly woman... made her wait an hour for her order then lied and said the restaurant was closed. When I called the restaurant said we are opened. And oh grub hub will refund the 70 dollars in a week. What a crock of nonsense. The restaurant is santiagos in federal heights colorado.
