I ordered a glass bowl which arrived broken. I have contacted the seller and Groupon and no reply from either. I paid $30 and will never buy anything off Groupon again unless they step up and help get this resolved.

Horrendous experience and dreadful customer support.
Self assembly came with inadequate instructions and screws missing.
Screws were never sent on despite repeated assurances they would be,
Customer Services wouldnt tell me who the manufacturers were so I could get screws and any advice re assembly. No holes for a number of screws. Chats cut by customer support when they couldnt answer my questions. No response to any further emails I have sent.
Dont buy this desk, dont expect any support from Groupon Customer Support

Groupon provides some excellent deals and comes to your inbox on a regular basis with all new and different deals. So many choices for areas of interest.

As an educational course author, publisher, photographer on Photographer2.com and artist, the use of groupon is highly recommended.

I have made many purchases from Groupon. I have never had a problem with it so far. I asked for a couple of returns in the past and got them really quickly. I would recommend the site to everyone else.

Great local deals
July 11, 2018

Now I am in the habit of looking on Groupon before we step out for dinner, show or activity.
Great prices to try out new places for the first time... you don't mind taking the risk with the new businesses and most of the times you find a goldmine:-)

Because there is NO vetting process of merchants on groupoff (I don't know that this is true but several merchants have not followed through with products or delivery or customer service) anyone can add anything real or not and then you can't get any help from groupoff or the merchant! If groupoff can't resolve an issue with a merchant they should not be able to sell their goods. This is groupoff's "way out"... "it's not our service or product contact the merchant" No accountability to groupoff!

I purchased from Ideel and thought I was getting a good deal. When I received the merchandise I could tell it had been previously sold and worn. I called customer service and they were super rude, for no reason because I just was inquiring about their return policy. I was informed that the merchandise I purchased could not be returned and I was "stuck" with it. Best to buy from other sites like gilt.com and ruelala.co. I've never had any problem with the other websites.

I purchased a Sam's Membership and they never followed through on their promise of $35.00 eGifts and a free gift. After chatting 6 times with their customer service who could not understand or didn't want to help me, I gave up. I had to repeat things over and over, I was consistently asked the same question after I had just responded with the information they were requesting. Unable to speak to anyone over the phone and unable to resolve my issue. Extremely frustrated, at a loss for the words to express my displeasure with GROUPON. They are not worth my time or aggravation! Will never purchase again from them.

I've purchased and redeemed about 20 groupons and have never been dissatisfied with any of them. Went to a Vegas show, got cheep oil changes, car washes, spa treatments, weekend "things to do", and several meals. The businesses have benefited too as now I continue to eat at a few of the places that I probably would have ignored otherwise and love the new car wash place. I even have my mom going there now!

I bought a LOT of Groupons yesterday for an out of town trip, but never received them. Now, I am unable to even log into my account - no matter what I do. ( Yesterday they didn't mind taking my money, but today I can't even get into my damn account?!?) I tried contacting customer service - that was a total waste of time. Two phone numbers are listed for Groupon customer service: *******858 and *******773 - these are unmanned numbers. ( You just get this annoying recording telling you to "go online for help".) After much searching I eventually found this email: *******@groupon.com. I have yet to get a response. I guess I will be taking this up with my bank. Groupon "customer service" is a just a sad joke with no punchline:-<

Addicting!

Love the savings! Sometimes you need to shop on other sites like amazon to be sure your getting the best deal, but 99% of the time it's on here! I'm addicted to the savings! I have only ever had one problem where the product I ordered isn't the one I received, but they quickly accepted my return and refunded my money.

3 of our last 4 orders have had shipping SNAFUS... stuck in one city with no movement for over a week. Or worse, companies print a label... which enters tracking information into the system, but your pack sits... never making it into the actual system.
So... when there is an issue, contact customer service. There is no way to do it! After about half a dozen times of navigating the site for help, an occasional email button seems to appear. It must only show after you have clicked the help button a dozen times. Then good luck getting an appropriate answer to you issue. Our last order may be our last.

I would avoid using Groupon UK. I have recently paid for an online excel course and the voucher doesn't work on the provider's website. I tried to contact the provider with no luck. I've asked Groupon a few times for a refund and they have made wait for weeks to come back saying that the problem has been sorted. That's a lie. I still can't access the course I've paid for.

My first shopping experience went well (bridesmaid dress), my second shopping experience was ok (decent cocktail dress that was not nearly as cute in person), and my third shopping experience (2 shirts, 1 necklace) was a disaster. It looked like cheap $#*! that was made in a sweat shop. One of the shirts had crooked stitching. And to say it was a $100 shirt on sale for $20 was bull$#*! because truly it was a $3 shirt sold for $20. I feel like such a sucker. I contacted customer service 1 week ago and no one has responded even though their website promises an answer in 24 hours. I'm done with ideeli and moving on to Gilt and Rue La La.

In early Nov I purchased a voucher for a fresh cut Christmas tree from a firm called Five Star Farms in Utah. The voucher stated tree must be ordered by first week of Dec. I ordered tree on 11/24 expecting delivery as promised 7-10 days later. I received an order confirmation from the vendor. Tree never came. The vendor shuts off their phone in late Nov and everything must go thru their support site. After asking for a week to get a Fedex tracking number they supplied me with one that did nothing. Fedex reported the label was created but nothing ever delivered to them for delivery. The vendor lied to me each and every day for a solid week. Upon notifying
Groupon I got a response that was obviously canned in that it was obvious they never read my complaint and quite frankly couldn't care less. I've been a long time user of Groupon but will never use it again... it simply isn't worth it to me for all the headaches involved.

Bought a Groupon Getaway and tried for weeks to book the resort but they only had an answering machine saying they would call back in 24 hours which they never did. My friend bought the same getaway (Cabo San Lucas) and had the same problem. She called the Groupon complaint line and was immediately refunded her money. I had emailed the complaint dept and was told I could not have a refund and that they would try to "resolve" the issue. I immediately contacted my Visa credit card and got a refund. Won't do a Groupon getaway again!

OXIGEN SPA & SALON

If anyone can just put a few chairs to set up the spa & salon then they will be all over the place.

They want more $$$ which I now realized that it was my mistake for not reading
The fine print but they never told me that I will not be able to get a refund if I don't
Use the deal. Contacted Groupon only to find out that not only did they redeemed
The deal with no service rendered, they refused to refund.

I booked a hotel through Groupon and my bank declined the transaction immediately, therefore Groupon sent me an email saying that the transaction failed and that I needed to give them further information. I dismissed it and booked through another site, the next day Groupon took the money from my account without my authorization and now refuses to refund me for it. I called the hotel and I was told that a no show fee will be charged to me because I have a reservation with them through Groupon. Groupon tells me by email that someone will get back to me within a week but the reservation is for the next day, so how can I avoid being charged this fee if they refuse to call the hotel prior to the estimated time to cancel before being charged. Also I'm still wondering who gave them permission to take money from my visa card? However they didn't give me the option on any page to decline the submission after they sent me the email.

I read reviews all the time but never write one but I had to in this instance. I've had Groupon for about 4 years and used it to book a hotel at the Hilton for a 2 day trip recently for $318 that I did not know was taken out immediately opposed to after checkout in case of a situation of a short stay. I forgot about my military discount and the Hilton gave me one. When I checked out my total on my receipt was $270 nice win or so I thought until I looked at my bank told I was charged 270 and 318. What ending up happening was the Hilton put my discount rate back in my account and left the Groupon one. Very disappointed. Word of advice, NEVER USE THEM! They are the shady middle man that will make you lose in the end. Just deal directly with a Hotel or through a travel agent.

I purchased tickets to a show and the show was canxld. No fault on my side. I sent email from ticket master that confirmed cancellation and was told some one will contact you within 478-72 hrs. It has been a week and i am yet to get a call or get my money back. Customer service is so scripted they only say when management gets a resolution then your money will be returned and now it could take up to 7 to 10 business days.The pretend as though no supervisor is available and if i want to talk to one call back thru service line. Horrible customer service and horrible way to handle business.
