We purchased 3 nights ar $77 per night. They added about $50 in taxes. When we got there they added another $90 in HOA cleaning fees etc. you have to take your own trash to garbage. It was a dump. Lightbulbs gone, phone didn't work, wifi password didn't work, construction work started ar 8 am. We were on the 3rd floor. Elevator broke. Couch miserable to set on. The bedspread worn out and dirty. A hotel would have not cost more and would have been much cleaner. The lamp by the bed didn't work.
Their site is glitchy and initially said my order failed due to expired card. They sent a link to correct and it basically has got repeat the order and that one went through. The first order said pending failed.
Now I see on credit card that it eventually got re-charged after card entry was fixed so now have an extra set of tickets I did not want.
They will not refund stating because of agreement with certain vendors or some such bull$#*! even though it was their site that messed this up.
Never again! Be forewarned.
My ideeli shipment order that I am waiting on, though technically processed today--really physically left UPS today. And when I checked on my Ideeli.com account on my order, I now have only *13* days left for returns!
That's VERY unethical. That means by the time I receive my order, in 6 days, I'll only have 6 days to send any returns back--not a full 14. Buyer Beware! They don't advertise this at all!
And they have the slowest processing and shipping dates of *ALL* the Budget Luxury shipping sites (Ruelala, Gilt, Hautelook, etc)! Keep that in mind before you buy!
I'm sure the majority of people that posted did have legitimate complaints. However I must say I had an extremely pleasant experience with this site. I ordered my wedding shoes on Tuesday and they arrived Friday. They look exactly as way was advertised on the site. Further more, when I did have a question about the shipping (the label was created 24 hours before it actually left the site) true customer service was quick to respond and very helpful. I was nervous after I placed the order because of all the negative reviews but I couldn't be happier with the service and look forward to ordering again.
Customer support is very unprofessional and often rude! I would not recommend Groupon Merchant to any service business! Groupon is very unfair on how your campaign runs and they say that they are not taking on new nationwide customers Seriously Groupon there's mant marketing companies out there for far less money that reach more of a customer base. This company has some of the worst support I've ever dealt with. They refuse to acknowledge my request for a refund, even though I never used the voucher/redeemed it. Be careful for this company; their main objective is to scam you and use false terminology to deny you a refund!
This morning I bought a coupon for a massage, then changed my mind.
Groupon's refund policy says things can be returned for refund within 3 days.
I tried to contact them to return the coupon, and it is impossible.
There is no phone number, web form, email address or chat link.
The Help menu takes me to my order and refund policy - but there is no way to communicate with them.
I found a link to email at the bottom of my acknowledgement email and tried emailing them - I got a reply saying they would only help me through the web site.
After the charge has posted to my card, I will have the charge reversed.
This is the first and last time I use groupon. A company that is so cheap it has no customer service people is not a good company!
Purchased from Groupon 100" Genuine Freshwater Pearl Necklace for my wife which came 20" shorter. That is just unfair. Also their website doesn't have any links for complaining regarding orders. The only option is to return. Wouldn't recommend to buy from them to anyone. Also read some reviews and suggestions sound scary. Do research and stay alert if you still going to buy from them. I'm deleting my account.
I have purchased many deals through groupon. Mainly tickets to concerts or events. I have never had a problem redeeming what I purchased. The only negative thing I have to say is their slow customer service. I purchased something and immediately had buyers remorse. I wrote to them immediately, but it took them 3 days to get back to me. I was just happy they agreed to issue me a credit; which I later used on some tickets!
I can't use a $39 Groupon for a children's tea party because my nieces moved out of state. They will NOT give me a credit. They are giving other people credits, and I have gotten a credit before because the salon would not return my calls to make an appointment.
I have purchased Groupons for massages and had some good experiences and some very bad ones! Groupon refused to refund my money even when the Business and I agreed that we were not a good fit. It is a crap shoot, and Groupon does not value it's customers enough to look at an individual situation and make adjustments the veer from their rigid policy of only 3 days for a refund, which is of course a totally unrealistic length of time. As merchants we have been trying to get answers about our account which have been unanswered for almost a week. Our payout amount is incorrect. Make sure as merchants you watch that account. If I could give this a negative rating I would! Worst customer service and worst experience ever!

Searched for discount for Sam's membership. Groupon offered one for $20.00. When the verification did not show up in my email, I contacted Groupon and they said they couldn't provide a refund -- all within 20 minutes. To me, this is a fraudulent charge for a FAKE authorization code. Purchase from Groupon, take your risk. And by the way, there was no fine print.
This is a great way to try out restaurants, salons, etc at great prices. It is especially great when they have "sales" that is, reductions on their already good prices. I routinely check for deals in my area and am a long time customer. Their customer service is good. Be sure to read the fine print on the deal, however.
This company is so shady. First of all, I think some of the merchandise they aseel are counterfeit and "designer" labels were sewn on by Ideeli. Second, do NOT buy into the Free shipping gimmick. TWICE I was promised free shipping and BOTH times I was charged the 9.95 shipping fee. Their customer service is a joke. They do not nothing to help you. You just keep e-mailing back forth with someone who seems to have the intelligence and reasoning capabilities of a cockroach. Never again. I am cancelling my membership.
I generally frequent sites similar to Ideeli, like Gilt and Hautelook, and expected similar customer service from Ideeli. Boy, was I wrong. I purchased something from Ideeli in late November... I still have not received the item. Ideeli ships their product via UPS Surepost, which the only thing "sure" about it is that it's sure to be late. UPS will transport the item up to a point, then transfer to it USPS. There's no tracking available of your product after that point. My stuff shipped on 12/18 and it's now 1/8 and I've still not received it. Worst procurement process ever. Decided to stick w/ the other sites going forward.
Ordered a Morphy Richards pan set fro £55.3 weeks later arrived a carpet cleaner. We don't have one carpet in our house. Phoned them, after being on hold for 30 minutes! The American lady told me to take it to the nearest post office (thing ways a tone and far to big for one person to carry, Post office 3 mile walk and we have no car). Said we don't own a car. After battling with her for 10 minutes that its there mistake they should come and collect it she agreed to send parcel force at a stupid time of the day. I had to take half a day off work and surprise surprise no parcel force arrived! Stuck with a carpet cleaner in a all wood floor house and £55 out of pocket. No refund will be given until the collect the wrong item. Now waiting for parcel force again and there 3 hours late. Doubt theyll show again. Customer service on the phone dont care at all! Avoid if possible.
I used to hate Groupon, because my deals would expire quickly and I started getting spam. HOWEVER, if you are sure to read the fine print and set up a "spam" email address (use gmail or something free), Groupon is a lifesaver, and you won't constantly have your regular inbox cluttered. I live in a major city, so there are always tons of deals! It probably is not as beneficial if you live in a more rural area, but I love it.
Have ordered a lot through Groupon. It seems that they are taking more an more items/deals that aren't really deals. Most recent was a local hair salon that talked about a $50 for a haircut and deep conditioning treatment for $15. I showed up and it was a fantastic sam's type place that regularly charges $9.95 for a hair cut and only $9 if you come in before noon. Do your research and have found some great new restaurants because of them as well.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
