Although I have purchased from their site. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. The whole referral credit is bs also. I have referred 3 sibling but bc their credit card has the same billing address they refuse to credit me, other sites did not have an issue with this. Instead they were arguing with me and being very rude.
I paid $90 dollars for a defective product and Groupon refused to let me return the order. They said I had 15 days, but the order page clearly stated 30 days return policy.
I had been a regular customer of Groupon but after that experience I quit purchasing from them. Simply not enough savings to make it worth the chance to buy from a company who doesn't honor their return policy.
Really nothing worth purchasing. There are a ton of deal sites out there. The customer service isn't the best and I really enjoy working with Half Off Depot! They have really good timing with everything that goes on in the city.
Groupon is clearly a criminal enterprise that prays on local companies with the scam of legal discounts. I spoke to a number of merchants that are sorry they got involved in this scam. Groupon tells merchants to unload unwanted merchandise thru this way. Please don't be the next victim. If it sounds too good it is a crime
My Wife bought Gillet Compatible Mach 3 Blades for me from this site. The Quality of blades was so bad that it did not do even a single shave properly. Groupon sells really poor quality goods on the name of discount. When I tried to contact their customer service, its pathetic too. Their Customer Service guys has only one objective, how to stall you and refrain you from returning the stuff. I al still struck with those useless blades. Stay away from this site. Its not worth you time and money.
I am looking for my orders. This is crazy! I have been a loyal customer for years, and this is the service that you give in return. Even being owned by Groupon doesn't help. They state that the account was transferred. Really? I sent an e-mail(as asked) and nothing. This should be reported to the BBB. How can you claim to be a reputable company? I need a status on my orders. You are not the only ones with attorneys.

I bought a restaurant discount deal from Groupon. However, the restaurant refused to honor the discount. When I contacted Groupon customer support (via online chat), they refused to refund my money. They offered to escalate the issue, and promised that someone will get back to me in 36 hours. I waited for a week but never heard back from them, so I called them again (had to search for their phone number on Google). Their customer service rep in Philippines could barely speak English, and was reading from a script. He was of no help, and offered to escalate the issue. Again, I never heard back from anyone.
Groupon has taken my money, and has no intention to deliver the promised goods. Its nothing but a bait-and-switch scam.
I placed an order for a comforter. It did not appear to be of the quality depicted in the picture. I attempted 6 times to contact customer service and have never had one response. I will never use the site again!

I cannot believe Groupon would acquire Ideeli to trash it, ruin it completely. I used to buy so much stuff from them, great customer service, fantastic choices, the daily emails were something I looked forward to. Now, it is all gone.

Freezing? Or not available to open or check out?! I bought 2 vouchers and never was notified that they had canceled on me. They refund it back credit And I can't even use it because the website keeps freezing I've been on here for the last for two! There's no customer service phone number and live agent isn't even available via text! Coupon needs to fix this and get back on board this is horrible!
Do NOT buy unless you are ready to wait for more than 3 weeks to be delivered! It's been 15 days and the products still hasn't shipped - it is a simple protein powder! In the fine print on the webpage it says delivered in 12 days, but when you get the confirmation email, it says 3 WEEKS! No option to cancel! Worst online shopping experience ever! Will never use this store again!

I never had issues until I bought tickets and they closed early for weather. I email support for a rebate. They reply with info and never credited me. On my time I had issues. All other experience good. Always verify what the coupon entails sometimes merchant and coupon discrepancy.
Bought an experience from Groupon. The company for it cancelled my reservation and Groupon refused too return my money because it was after 3 days. I talked with their customer service multiple times and had to restart my conversation everytime,a company like Groupon should have a system in place to review old customer service tickets. I got the run around repeatedly and have yet to get my money back.
For some reason my purchases don't go through all the time. It's strange. I contacted customer services, and they issued a $20 credit to my account for my trouble. Nice response, Groupon.
I'd do this again for small purchases.
I have had a really bad experience with LivingSocial (scammed out of nearly $200 by a fraudulent retailer- they have been no help and rude)- which might cloud my judgment in thinking Groupon is fantastic. But I really do think they handled an error in a professional way.

Groupon Good is Terrible! I ordered something they didn't ship it till 2 and a half weeks later. Come to find out they shipped it to the wrong address and told me to call UPS to try and change it! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! Terrible customer service. Was on hold 4 times for over 20 minutes! Don't do it. Not worth the stress.
Ideeli is just about my favorite website. I have ordered numerous times for personal items, gifts for both men and women, and household items. I have never been disappointed. I purchased an item multiple times as a photographer. When I went to the website to order my prints, there were additional fee's on top of what I just spent in order to process my request. It wasn't anything other than what I thought I paid for. I contacted support explained they refunded one item but not the others. I reached out to them again and asked why. I was told that they never refunded an item for groupon bucks as they will not refund your CC which is fine. Basically called me a liar and refused to help. I for warn you, buy with caution as you never know what you are getting.
If you have booked a hotel or a vacation with these people it does not matter if the hotels shut down, the towns shut down or even if CDC recommends you do not go there! You are out your money because Groupon has no heart and aims to keep you money if you go or not. There sticking to there NON refundable policy? Well they can stick that where the sun don't shine! Keep up your good business dealings! We will be spreading business plans with others, many others.
Glad i only spent 7.99. The advert very misleading thinking i was making a saving on a 50ft hosepipe and reel. Id get more water through a straw with this cheap tat they sent. My first and last purchase. So glad i went to a reputable gardening website for my plants or god knows what id have ended up with as i was going to order some patio plants too. Groupon does offer cheap deals -- definitely get your money's worth. Just be careful from falling into the impulsive buying mode when you see how much is being discounted by the merchant. However, be forewarned that if you have a problem with the merchant, Groupon will not give you a refund. They will give you credit at most, but only after giving you a difficult time over it and trying to force you to come to an agreement with the merchant.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
