I have updated some details on my account over 3 times, but their "system" has been unable to effect my new address. After been promised this will be amended. I have been unfortunate to chat with the same staff who has advised me to cancel my orders, then call back and then abruptly ended the chats.
The customer service have no idea how to deal with this technicality so after cancelling my current order, I will have to close the account.

I have been an ideeli/ideel customer for years and made my last order a couple of weeks ago. They have moved to Groupon since then and I can no longer access my account info, info about the orders I have not received yet, or info regarding returning an item that was too small. I contacted them with their old customer support email as well as the new ideel at groupon email and have not received an answer.
Purchased four Groupons for canvas prints for $75.00. The Groupons said when you click on the redemption codes you will be taken to the vendor's website. Not a chance! I spent a half hour on Google to find the website and it has a completely different name than shown on Groupon. None of the redemption codes worked after uploading the pictures. Emailed Groupon, they refused a refund stating the purchase was non refundable. Didn't say that before the purchase only in the fine print after the purchase. I have called and emailed the vendor no less than four times and each time have been told to email them a screenshot showing the redemption codes being rejected, which I have done. Vendor has quit responding. Complete rip-off! NEVER EVER AGAIN!
My Groupon Bucks disappeared!
Customer Service (Michael Y) said money was used for shipping costs on my last order. I sent pictures of my PayPal account proving there were no shipping fees. They tried to have me deal with their vender for relief. I refused. All my dealings were with Groupon, not their vender, so they should resolve issue. Total waste of my time. Good bye to my $55 and Groupon.
Shop this website on a monthly basis, never had an issue with shipping or the quality of the items. The longest time I've waited for a item was 7 days and when an item I ordered was no longer available the promptly refunded the cost and gave me a credit for a future purchase, sorry other shopper have not had the same great experiences. I'm definitely going to shop from this website for a longtime!
I check Groupon daily and use their local deals often. The only complaint I have is that some of the 'goods" deals take forever to arrive. Especially save$ with beauty and health and restaurant deals. I have also purchased many gifts such as facials or massage on groupon, again could not depend on a goods deal to arrive in a timely manner.
Am I understanding this correctly? Groupon asks the merchant (me) to discount my product 50% to get featured, which is pretty big stretch, but maybe I could swing it. THEN they take 50% of that and I get 50%? So basically I am asked not to give a 50% discount, but what is essentially a 75% discount! How in the world are businesses doing this? If I "gave away" my product at a 75% discount in the quantities they are selling on groupon, I would be out of business!
This sounded like a cool idea for my up and coming business, but after reading the fine print, I think I'm going to have to pass on this.
Same as others. The WORST WORST experience in my entire online shopping experience. Order an item on March 10, today March 26, still no sight of it. And just learnt from other reviewers that I might have another couple weeks to wait for. I feel very sorry for whoever work in their CS department. Don't go near the site.

Its alright but you have to pay for EVERYTHING with separate shipping and handling. There is no combining orders or the option to continue shopping. They know what they're doing. Which is why my review is so low
Just received two pairs of what I thought (as stated on Groupon) were freshwater pearl earrings. NOPE, they are NOT... also, the backs were loose in the package & will not fit on the post. Cheap, imitation sold as otherwise, might as well throw them away earrings!

Purchased a groupon deal for auto detailing. Called the company to learn that it was not a working phone number. Found a second possible phone number online, but no answer.
Have a live chat with Groupon to say I wanted my money back. They offered a credit. That was okay until I learned that the credit was only good for 24 hours.
Advice: If you buy on Groupon at all, check out the company first.
I have been a customer of groupon for years and they were great until this year. I have had 2 undelivered packages and bought 2 vouchers that were unusable because the company would not respond. Apparently they only give each customer 1 refund per lifetime and treat you like you are trying to rip them off. Never again will I use groupon and be treated like a thief because I want a refund!
I bought my first groupon last week, specs for less in NYC, sounded to good to be true (49 for 205 worth of eye-ware) but i figured i will keep a open mind. The fine print was that you have to buy in their store not on their website, i checked their website and their prices were reasonable. I went to their shop in NYC and none of the eyeglasses had any prices, when i asked for the prices, the clerk asked me if i had a groupon, when i said yes, she quoted me 3 times the price they charged on their website (everyone sells it online ranging $80-$120) they wanted $300. I said don't tread on me, scam someone else, contacted groupon, had my money back next day
Groupon should really be more careful who they feature
Purchased a deal from Groupon, when we went to use it we found out that we needed to pay an additional $272 to use *******@159 voucher. When called customer service they said there was nothing they could (would) do about it and I could not get a refund or credit Trevor, the supervisor was of no help!
They sold me a Groupon to a Brazilian Steak house in the Woodlands, Tx that closed down before I could use it. There customer service said. All sales are final and my loss not theirs. They are still selling that Groupon and that company does not exist. I am thinking thats a little on the illegal side.
I TRIED ordering something, could not download promo code. Tried several times. Two other people also tried to help download. Without success. So I phoned customer service. All you get is a recording.not everyone is computer savvy. If you could actually talk to someone, it would be of great help. Got so frustrated I cancelled the order.
Well, prior to today, I have used the site with good success. Today, in the infinite wisdom of "someone", they decided to offer AMC Theater Coupons.
Well, ALMOST.
See, there was only 1000 coupons available for Phoenix. A little math will tell you that 1000 coupons for a city of 5 million, doesn't go very far. Do the math. ******* divided by 5,000,000 equals I had a. 02 percent of getting one.
That of course if you were only one, but it allowed you to purchase two!
So overall, AMC and Groupon allowed a. 04 percent chance to see a movie for $4.
Beware... Sometimes it's a WAIST of time!
I like to buy designer apparel with great discount! So, I decided to try ideeli.com, I've heard about it lot from my friend. I bought 4 items there and I payed the whole amount of money. But next day the returned me some money, less than a half of the sum, as they had sent only two items, and two was in a wait list. But when they charged us, everything was in stock. We had been waiting for a month and finally the sent those two items and they charged me not that sum, which they had returned me, but the whole sum again. I wrote the support team and they promised to help me in 24 hours. It has been already 2 days nobody answers me. It"s awful!

When you place an order, we issue a temporary authorization hold on your card for the amount of your purchase. This hold is placed to verify that your card has not been reported as lost or stolen, and that the card is valid. The hold will drop off of your card within 3 to 5 business days and your card won't be charged until your order ships. Since two of the four items from your order shipped out before the hold was dropped, the two items that didn't ship were not charged to you since we cannot charge for items that shipped so the authorized amount for those two items would have been dropped from your card since the items that shipped were charged.

I have used Groupon for so many things! Concert tickets. Sporting even tickets. Party deals. Toys. Groupon has saved me lots of money and I love checking out new offers! Great way to save money but still enjoy the things you love!
I ordered a dress online from Ideeli and then I read the reviews here. They really had me scared and regretting my decision! However, my order ended up shipping 5 days sooner than it was scheduled to, and it arrived very soon after. Nothing was wrong with it, and it was the correct size. They even shipped it with a hanger, but I will say I don't feel the dress was packed tightly enough (I could feel it moving around in the box). I don't doubt that all these people had really unpleasant experiences with Ideeli, but mine was actually exactly what I would expect from a site such as this. I had no problems at all.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
