Groupon I purchased no longer excepted. Had to wait on hold a long time before receiving my refund. That was purchased with a coupon which they didn't allow me to get a new coupon due to my inconvenience. Supervisor was NOT more helpful then the customer service representative that worked under her
This company is not to be trusted. They have committed fraud by taking £30.00 from my account without my authorisation for a product I did not purchase. I tried to use a discount voucher they sent me. When this failed and declined the code as it was a live event I closed the window. I had a live chat and was explained the reason why I couldnt use the voucher. This made the event too expensive so chose not to bother. Next thing I get is an email saying they had taken the money and gave me a voucher. THIS IS FRAUD. And on the telephone you speak with someone in Asia that has absolutely no idea what your problem is as they dont have a fundamental understanding of the English language.
I ordered a 10 in. Double Power tablet on Dec. 23,2013. They charged my credit card account the same day and as of 01/09/2014 I am still waiting for it to arrive. I sent them an email regarding my order and received typical auto generated respond. I called them on 1/6/14 regarding my order. The man " Brook" told me that orders take 12 business day to go to shipping department and it will take days for me to receive it. Today, I received another email from them notifying me they have no idea when the order will be shipped. I responded and requested a cancellation and asked them to credit back my credit card account. I thought this was just a one time screw up but looking at the other people reviews, I realized that that is their business model " take the order, charge their account and let them to chase their order". It seems to be their mode of operation and I will never deal with them again
I purchased an item on Tuesday, it was marked 'pending. I contacted customer support and was told it could take 2 - 24 hours. Since I was close to the 24 hours, she offered to refund me and give me a discount to repurchase. I agreed. What I didn't know was that the price went up. So now with a $50 discount they want me to pay $20 MORE than I did yesterday... because their system is not working as it should.
I've been waiting 3 days for Groupon to verify I didn't redeem a Groupon I purchased for duct cleaning. I bought this Groupon with a credit from another crazy Groupon. That lady wanted me to get a doctor's note in order to qualify for her massage! But not refunds at Groupon, only credits! So I use Groupon's credit to buy duct cleaning for my house instead, and when I go to schedule it, it's listed in my account as already redeemed. I would have thought a phone call could clear this up. How hard can it be to verify I've never contacted this business and they have never been to my house? But here I am waiting days. Looks like I threw good money after bad in buying this second more expensive groupon with the credit from my last deadbeat groupon. I now have trust issues with GROUPON, I trust you understand. Please make it right and right-quick please, Groupon!
Ive bought a few things using groupon and I havent been displeased. Yes you do need to always read the fine print on the item your looking at, but its easy to purchase things. They seem to have a wide variety of places, tickets for events, services etc. i always look on groupon first for things i might buy soon.
I really like ideeli.com. I look at the sales every day. I've had to return items before because they were the wrong size. Not because ideeli sent the wrong size, but because they just didn't fit me. I have never had trouble returning an item. I buy mainly dresses and a few sweaters. I was really surprised to see the poor reviews. I think the site spells out very explicitly how the sales, shipping, and returns work. I will continue to use ideeli!
What I ordered is good quality, however, I needed to return a couple of items. Customer service was fine, but I was surprised to learn that I received a site credit rather than my $$ back. If prices were great, I would understand and accept this, but no great bargains here -- at least for the items that appeal to me.

If you are considering purchasing from Groupon, I do not suggest unless you like to get ripped off and enjoy not having customer service. I have tried to contact them the way they wish... absolutely useless. During my live chat the representative was unhelpful. Groupon does not have a customer service line and because of this they abused their customers. I wish I could say that I have gotten hung up on! Rather, I have "chat specialist" that continuously disconnect themselves for every issue they don't want to deal with. Groupon, I am disappointed in both your customer service and professionalism.
Heads up. This is the message you will receive if you come to any problems they don't want:
"I really want to assist you further however, its been a while since your last response and I may need to disconnect this chat to assist other customers"
You WILL receive this message if you don't come in contact with the right person & sadly your chances are rare.
I'm not even sure what to say, rip-off, yes. I ordered a set of 6 towels, paid and I received 2 towels. Before this, I received someone elses order, while I never did get mine. I will not buy from groupon again. Too many bad experiences. Not worth it.
I ordered a few items and only once I added payment information did I see shipping costs. I wasn't going to pay more for shipping than the items themselves so I tried to cancel my order but I got a "this page is undergoing maintenance" error, which, conveniently only went away after the items were shipped. I contacted customer service 3 times and was told that they couldn't help me but they had escalated my complaint and I would receive a response within 24 hours. Three days later, I have finally received a response, but have been told that nothing can be done because all of the items have already shipped. I wish I had looked here to see that others are having issues too. Won't order again!
At first I was hesitating to actually order a Groupon item, but I have not yet been disappointed. Be aware, however, you need to scroll down and read everything. Sometimes the fine print will determine whether or not you will ultimately order that item. Example: Make sure you check the location of a car wash or car service before purchasing.
Very frustrating - groupon has gone downhill.
I used to be an advocate until the last two groupon deals I bought BOTH were falsely advertised and impossible to redeem.
1. The place groupon sold me a voucher for was closed for 2 months and yet groupon still sold their service with false advertising.
2. Absolutely absurd. I bought a flight lesson as a gift. When I called the company they swear groupon was supposed to stop selling their voucher and that they were invalid. Groupon never sent any notification or apology for their mistake.
There is no phone number to call and on the chat if you can convince them to give you a refund, you have to wait 72 hours for someone else to contact you.
Well i saw the ads everywhere on my yahoo mail i shop on-line a lot... im a sucker for designer bags so i ordered one from ideeli.com and my experience was good... my shipping date was about 3 weeks away and i ended up getting my bag sooner then expected and i had it checked to make sure that it was real and it is so i got a 300.00 bag for 50.00 i have no complaints but reading the other reviews it may be a while before i feel comfy to order something from their site! Sounds like the first order goes pretty smooth and then it gets worse from there :(

I am not even going to try to buy. I subscribed to their emails to see if their products could be interesting for me. They were not what I was looking for so I tried to unsubscribe 4 times. Every time I go to the page, follow the instructions and save the settings, to no avail, I keep on being bombed with emails. If you cannot honor your unsubscribe policy, I don't want to find out how they conduct the rest of business.

Groupon is not about providing great customer service. It is about taking people's money regardless of the situation. It is like too bad, so sad. At least, Livingsocial will refund a partial refund of your purchase if you are not end up using it. With Groupon, you loose every dollars, forget about any refund. I want to know if there is a federal agency that regulate company like Groupon. I will file a complain so they can investigate this awful company.
At check in they said I had no reservation when I showed them my Groupon they acted as if they had never seen it before and went as far as to act as if they didn't understand English. Taylor Swift happened to be in town so room's everywhere were sky high and I guarantee that us why they did not honor it and acted stupid. Let's just say my entire trip was ruined. I pre-paid and preplanned months in advance so that my vacation would run smooth and be taken care of. It led me to trying to find a place to stay all night, but t gets worse, it ended up costing me all the money I had brought to spend on food,, drinks, activities ect. $600 for two nights! Ruined my whole vacation, got in debt having people venmo so I could eat and get my luggage back on the plane. I would not recommend EVER BUYING a hotel stay on Groupon, there is no one to talk to, no one to help and your out your money you spent on it.
I received an item ordered, however the size was too small and I wanted to speak with someone and see if an exchange for a larger size was an option. I first tried their live chat on the website, however it does not connect. I then tried their customer service phone number, however there was never a representative available to speak with me. I left several messages and no one ever got back to me. Because of the non existent customer service I probably will not shop from ideeli again. It's unfortunate.

I selected to buy the more expensive hotel room option because the ad stated it was for two adults and up to three children. However, when I called Marriott directly to confirm room choices, they informed me I would have to pay another $20/night for a roll-away bed. The room does not actually sleep five as advertised. This, to me, is false advertising. I will not buy a hotel Groupon again.
Ideeli offers excellent items at greatly discounted prices. I have always found my items to be as described on the website, and any problem I have with (typically a garment) is usually due to my personal preference, not with the item itself. I have returned one garment, and the process was very simple. A shipping label was provided, and all I had to do was drop it off. I recommend this site to anyone looking to get high-end products at a reasonable cost.

Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
