I received an item ordered, however the size was too small and I wanted to speak with someone and see if an exchange for a larger size was an option. I first tried their live chat on the website, however it does not connect. I then tried their customer service phone number, however there was never a representative available to speak with me. I left several messages and no one ever got back to me. Because of the non existent customer service I probably will not shop from ideeli again. It's unfortunate.
My realtor referred me to this site to get a great deal from a local painter. I completed the application and paid the $210.00.
Then I tried to call the vendor but the telephone number was "not in use". The vendor never contacted me. I had to make mulitple complaints to Groupon to get my money back. Here is the rep's consdescending last e-mail:

This site is my #2 because American Apparel is always #1. Horrible and stupid return policy, I mean ridiculous terms and impossible to work with. I would suggest you buy your products elsewhere because paying shipping both ways for something that might not suit you sucks. I made some purchases and now I'm stuck with them and very dissatisfied with both the product and the customer service.
Shortly after signing up for a Groupon.com promotion, my credit card was fraudulently used to make a purchase at Applestore.com. I rarely make purchases online, so I believe that the source of the fraud is Groupon or their website.
So far so good. I haven't had any issues with vouchers or buying deals. This site and Livingsocial are so far my two favorite deal sites! Keep it up Groupon.
We had a laser treatment in Sydney at Visage beauty clinic. We flew down for the appt, the lady was running a bit late which had us concerned as we had a return flight that day. Overall she did a wonderful job and I am really happy with the service, Sharon is a wonderful business woman and very experienced with the erbium laser.
The costumer service is very rude. And their site is not very secure. It's easy for your identity to get stolen if you use their site.

I'm pleased with Groupon. I've bought many deals from them and whenever I had issues I was offered good customer service and they have been accommodating to me. The thing to be careful with is that there are a lot of deals that you are not able to redeem right away due to high demand. So if you're buying an experience that requires reservation, it may take you a month to be able to make an appointment.
Okay, well my experience is a little different. I have used Groupon about a dozen times, mostly for restaurant deals. I have been satisfied every time, and I did not hear any gripes or experience any "upselling" from the restaurants. I did have a problem once with a one-night hotel stay I bought - basically the hotel had no availability for the Groupon deal for any night I tried to reserve - so I finally called Groupon. They were very helpful - they gave me a refund, though only in Groupon bucks. I didn't mind that, since a bit of time had passed since I bought the deal and since I do buy regularly from Groupon. I have had occasion to call Groupon a couple of times, and they have always been prompt, courteous and helpful. Now as for Living Social, that is a total nightmare - stay away!
This was once a site were you could actually get a good deal. However, it is now nothing more than a waste of time and money. Unfortunately, the last 3 groupons I purchased were absolutely horrible! I purchased 3 oil changes at Midas in Kent, WA and on my first visit the mechanic stripped out my oil pan argued with me that it was already like that. I was livid because my oil change ended up costing me $300! At that point I didn't blame Groupon. I thought it was an isolated incident. Then, I purchase two pedIcures and manicures at Mynt Salon in Kent, WA. I can't say which was worst, how unprofessional the technicians were, the unsanitary shop or the manicure and pedicure. I will say that it was by far my worst salon visit ever. It was so horrible, i will not be wasting my time to go for the second Groupon I purchased. Last, and I do mean last. I recently purchased a Groupon for my husband and me a massage at Jex Chiropractic in Renton, WA. The receptionist called 30 minutes before our appointment time to tell us that they could only do one of us. So I decided to let my husband go. He complained all the way home about the senior citizen massues who couldn't apply enough pressure for him to even feel anything. I am no exaggerating when I say senior citizen either. The lady had to be near 70 years old. Well in any game you are out after 3 strikes. Groupon, you are out! I will never use this service again. It may not be a scam but it is certainly a waste of time and money.
It takes FORVER to ship ANYTHING so dont plan on having it for a couple weeks to month. But the deals are awesome! Just check out the expiration dates. Awesome deals and anything and everything! I like the site. Just the SLOWEST shipping EVER!

When i first read ideeli review, i never think i will have any problem like many others. I was wrong. I made my first order $129, thinking if this turn out good i would purchase again. But when i search on youtube, saw a couple clips, say ideeli is great. Blab. Blab. blab.So, i went back the next day, made another purchase $237. I paid two shipping cost, but dont know why they shipped both my orders at the same times in one box. Also, the ups arrived the last moment at 7:20pm. I paid $12 shipping at Dillard, it arrive the next day(at noon). That included many items. Anyway, when i recieved my box, it was all BEAT UP, all my clothes is out.My husband have to pick up one by one, brought it inside. When i saw the "Designer" dress, im about to faint. This is my nightmare, all my money goes down the toilet, cuz i CANT REFUND IT. They sent one item the wrong size and i have to eat it.The material is thin the sewing is just simple, all of it! The whole night, i was upset.It is all my fault, i shoulda goes with my instinct. Whata fool! Why rush in? The next day, i went to UNSUBSCRIBE on my email. They ask me to share my thought, so i told them. Now, i felt a little better, cuz i dont have to hold on my pain inside anymore. I cant tell my husband, of course. After spent all his hard working money for useless clothes. This is just my opion and my experiment. Also, this is my first time membership with ideeli and will be the Last!

Even though it was supposed to be a surprise, I told my husband I had bought these items for him to make sure about the size. He told me I should have ordered size M, not L. I waited until Monday 16th to contact customer rep. The order is still expected to be shipped July 16-18, but I have been told right away that it is too late for a change in size. I hope you can do something more efficient about it. I don't want to deal with the hassle of returning it, but more importantly, I don't want to pay extra $10 for shipping. I found this product was on sale yesterday night and it had only 2 hours left to be purchased. When i checked just not too long ago the timer has increased to 10 hours?
Truly now is it a scam or what? Or can all those company really pro-long the duration whenever they like after it's expired?
Costumer Service Sucks! I bought a Groupon Deal for Vela Shape treatments, which if you don't know, is to treat cellulite. Why would I do that? To actually get a treatment for summer, cause in summer i wear a bikini. But the place that offered those treatments did not have anything available till the end of september! So I tried to return the Groupon Deal, but they would not let.
I have read several Groupon reviews posted here. I recently subscribed to Groupon and have found some great deals. So far so good. Just purchase small offers until recently I purchase a larger deal. Just like a prior reviewer stated below. Read the fine print. I was charged twice for the coupon, but part of it was my fault I did not take the time to read. I contacted them at *******858 and they were very helpful and refunded my money right away. I guess for the business owner is good and bad. They get publicity, but loose profit. Groupon charged me for a service they didn't deliver. They don't post a real contact email - lovely guys. After taking the time to call they said they credited my account but didn't. Serious credibility problems.
I've purchased and redeemed about 20 groupons and have never been dissatisfied with any of them. Went to a Vegas show, got cheep oil changes, car washes, spa treatments, weekend "things to do", and several meals. The businesses have benefited too as now I continue to eat at a few of the places that I probably would have ignored otherwise and love the new car wash place. I even have my mom going there now!
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.

Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?

Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
