“Excellent service”

Very helpful. Easy to use site. I received my results fast. They live up to everything they promise and I got my results in less than one hour! I looked at other sites and they wanted more money or wouldn't accept an American Express credit card. I would recommend to anyone who is in a rush to pay the extra price to have the reassurance that you will get your number in a timely fashion. I really don't understand the negative reviews because the site was easy to utilize and delivered what it promised within the hour.

“Shame that this appeared to be a Federal Government Site.”

This organization is terrible at providing the service that they represent. Spent several days trying to obtain an EIN number. Each conversation they said they would get back to me. After 4 days they finally got back to me explaining that nothing could be done until Monday. This after their site advertised that they could get it to me the same day. When I asked for refund they returned only half of my payment. My advice is make sure you are connected directly to IRS or SS as the need may be. Regrettable. Representative unduly surly. Stay away.

This organization is terrible at providing the service that they represent. Spent several days trying to get this accomplished. Each conversation they said they would get back to me. Their website is misleading. It led me to believe that it was a government website where I could apply for a replacement card. They don't tell you that they are not affiliated with SSA until the end of the process, when it is too late to cancel your order. I realized this about 10 minutes after completing the process. I then called the company for a refund, and was told I would get only a partial refund as I was past the time limit. I said "I just completed the form not FIVE minutes ago!" I am supposedly being issued a full refund. We will see. This is robbery.

Since getting a replacement SS card is free, they charge unsuspecting customers (like me) upward of $37 to send a PDF page that can be downloaded from the *real* Social Security government website for free... all you get, in essence, is a pre-paid USPS label.

Despicable! I hope I can get my money back.

Tip for consumers:
They pose as a government institution that will help you get a replacement Social Security card for a fee of either $37 or $93, but fail to inform you that the Social Security Office replaces cards for free. And in the process collect all of your most sensitive data. How are they allowed to do this?!

We understand that the customer is unhappy with the service and we would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. We realize how frustrating a situation like that can be and we are currently working to make it right.

We have clearly mentioned on our website that “GovSimplified is a private entity and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SSA.
The Social Security Administration provides free social security forms and assistance.

After reviewing the records, we found that the customer has applied for SSN card replacement on Jan 15,2019 and customer has also contacted our customer service to cancel the service. We have explained the customer why we charge also, We have informed the customer that he can use the service anytime and we have offered 50% discount customer agreed and we have issued the refund of $18.50

Since the customer is not satisfied we would issue the remaining refund of $18.50 back to his card on file.

Refunds are made to the source of the original payment, and processing generally takes 4 to 5 business days. Please contact your bank or credit card company directly to inquire as to when you can expect this refund to show up in your account.

We would also like to inform you that we will take extra measures to make sure that such errors don't happen again in the future.

We apologize again for the inconvenience.

I have read all the 1 star reviews and agree with all of them! I even called them scammers on the phone when I called to ask for a refund. Shame on me for trusting a site that looked like a government site. I will always read the fine print from here on out. I was told the supervisor would call me back but after reading some of the reviews I will not hold my breath. DON"T DO IT!

As most we live busy lives. This website was to save time and a trip down to the Social Security office. Talked with a representative even thinking this would be better (Diana Bell) Paid $97 when its FREE people! Just for me to still have to Fill in information. And then still proceed down to Social Security with Evidence of Identity (Drivers Lic, Passport etc) No copies excepted through the mail. Go early and just wait on the line.

This website is a scam. They took money with out my permission after they sent an email saying that all my info was erased. Then when I emailed them TWICE about a refund they sent me an automatic email BOTH TIMES saying "how great they are." If I could I could I would give them ZERO stars for lying and taking money and iformation. This company is a fraud and who ever created it should be ashamed. Don't use this website.

This is the last place I would recommend to anyone to seek assistance with. If I could give 0 stars I would. My strong advice is to steer beyond clear or this company. The level of respect, articulation, and mediation will have you question the authenticity of any service offered. Supervisor Fernando behaves as a child and does not comprehend clean remedial English.

Save you a trip to the Social Security, well, maybe if you can't use your phone, mail a letter or get on the internet!
SS forms are free as is all the assistance you need! Direct from the Social Security, office, by phone, mail or the internet. Office.
People are using GS to get EIN numbers/? I thought business people knew more than that. OH well, it's your money, in my experience, GS is a legitimate scam (for now) preying on the uninformed.

EIN service is free from the IRS. This organization used the IRS logo to scam me out of $295 and then claimed that they were unable to locate my information. This is a fraud and I hope you are smarter than I was.

SS-5 Form received was incorrect. Called 2x to correct, and while customer service was really great, they did not get the form correct, nor was the corrected form ever emailed as promised. Waste of time filling out their site form (which does not correctly save information), and the phone calls to try to correct. Went to SSA Office, and was in and out in 20 minutes. Again customer service was great, I called yet again, and asked for a refund. Waiting... we will see.

Bogus page. I fell for it. Should have known when they wanted payment before any info was entered. $37 charged to my card for something that was free with a 20 minute line wait at my local SS office. In the process of trying to get a refund.

Awful, paperwork took forever to get back to me with a note that said it cannot be completed. I had to sit at the SS office for hours only to find out that I couldn't complete the application online and it is free to get from the SS office. I contacted govsimplified and they are not helpful at all.

I tried to change my name on Social Security card by SS office, and I checked Social Security Office website. Next to the SS office website I saw GovSimplified can do it then I filled the all information on their forms: SS#, Date of Birth, Address, Phone # and Credit card #... Later I found this is an private co., and they charged me $97.
I noticed GovSimplified is a private entity and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the SSA.
I worry all my information was taken by them. Lean the LESSON, AND DO IT YOURSELF.

They lied, claiming that they could help me get my EIN number within the hour but it would take the IRS 4-6 weeks. I learned that was a lie and it would only take 5 minutes for the IRS to do it online. They also lied and said they would send me the required IRS letter and they didn't. They sent me a form and it was not what I needed. The necessary letter would have been free from the IRS. This has waisted my time and I have not gotten done what I need to get done.

SO, you get enough information from GovSimplified to trust they are helping you, but you never receive the rest. $29 down the drain, three weeks of time down the drain, a head full of gray hairs at 22 years old. They failed hardcore.
Waiting on the customer service line where they state on their website that it is a 30 second hold... I waited twice, 6 minutes on hold and 11 minutes on hold. They themselves ended the phone call, THEY ENDED THE PHONE CALL. I AM 100% POSITIVE THIS ("WEBSITE") IS SET UP FOR FRAUDULENT PURPOSES.

How you going to charge someone $150 to do what is free on IRS website offering the same or even more than your website. You claim that you can answer any questions or call IRS on my behalf but in your disclaimer at the bottom of the page. Where unfortunately the unexpected do not read. It says you can not provide professional advice. Not even professional advice but yet you are offering me a service to help with any questions I may have. You are a * scam artist and what goes around comes around * I had the charge reversed so thanks for the EIN *

I was trying to change my name after getting married and was told by this company that I had to pay the $97 to change my name for the app, living in a really expensive state I didn't think too much of it because we have to pay for everything else! Well. You don't have to pay to change your name-Received a call from a guy claiming to help me, when I started to ask?'s, he had to transfer me. Hung up, called the number back, told them they are frauds THEN WAS THREATENED BY A WOMEN ASKING ME IF I'd LIKE TO BE CALLED 25 times a day?! I called the 888 number, and she couldn't tell me exactly what the company does? Name? Nothing- hang up! DO NOT TRUST

When anyone discovers that their original social security card is missing... or has been stolen, they immediately become fearful over the loss and difficulty in replacing their critical identification document. Such was my experience upon losing my social security card. Upon reading the GovSimplified website, I believed that they would provide the service that they promised. I was totally wrong about their service.

After paying a small amount for their assistance ($35.00), and placing two very important documents in an envelop to them for processing, I discovered four weeks later that they sent my documents and application to a non-existent "Social Security Office" in Arlington VA, and advised me to send in an unacceptable credential that the SS office could not accept. Apparently providing an original health insurance card is only acceptable if it includes your legal name AND either your social security number or your date of birth (mine provided neither of these last two requirements). So after suspecting that the process was not progressing as advertised, and speaking on three different occasions to their toll-free "HELP" number, I only learned that my application was not entered into the processing queue for a new social security card after reaching the Social Security Administration four weeks after my process began with GovSimplified.
Please DO NOT make the mistake of depending upon GovSimplified to assist you in obtaining a new Social Security card - they are misinformed about the simplest items within their purview - like the address to which your application should be sent. This organization deserves a grade of zero (0) for their performance, but since the lowest possible score on this scale is a one (1) - that is what they are receiving from my frustrating experience with them.

They quickly took my money for expedited service, but then didn't provide expedited service. They delivered my social security card replacement documentation to the Social Security Administration on the day it was to be completed and returned to me! I went to the Social Security Administration office in person and a very helpful civil servant tracked down my application / documents. She processed my request while I waited so I could get back my Divers License and Birth Certificate. Thanks to her, I had my replacement card within another week.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use GovSimplified!!

I was led to believe that I would receive the form I need to deposit a check to the estate account. Can you e-mail the confirmation because the bank says it needs the actual confirmation, not just the number, before they can set up account? I paid your fee because I did not want to wait the 4 weeks. If you cannot e-mail me the confirmation, I paid your fee for nothing.

I applied for an EIN and expected to receive it in two days. Paid them $197 and then learned the IRS does it for free. Took four weeks to get my refund, after I immediately cancelled their service. Would never do business with them again.

DO NO USE THIS COMPANY. I PAID FOR EXPEDITED SERVICE WHICH THEY FAILED TO MEET THE TIME FRAME. THEY ACKNOWLEDGED THEY FAILED TO MEET THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT AND TOLD ME THEY WOULD PROCESS A REFUND FOR THE EXPEDITED SERVICE AND THEY WOULD CONTINUE PROCESSING MY EIN. THEY TOLD ME I WOULD HAVE AN EIN WITHIN 4-6 BUSINESS DAYS. TODAY (6 WORKING DAYS) THEY (SUPERVISOR) SAID I WOULD NOT BE GETTING A REFUND, THEY CANCELLED MY EIN PROCESS AND I NEED TO PAY THEM ANOTHER FEE TO BEGIN AGAIN.
