After 4 days they finally got back to me explaining that nothing could be done until Monday. This after their site advertised that they could get it to me the same day. When I asked for refund they returned only half of my payment. My advice is make sure you are connected directly to IRS or SS as the need may be. Regrettable. Representative unduly surly. Stay away.

Their website is misleading. It led me to believe that it was a government website where I could apply for a replacement card. They don't tell you that they are not affiliated with SSA until the end of the process, when it is too late to cancel your order. I realized this about 10 minutes after completing the process. I then called the company for a refund, and was told I would get only a partial refund as I was past the time limit. I said "I just completed the form not FIVE minutes ago!" I am supposedly being issued a full refund. We will see. This is robbery.
Bad scammers. They lie about social security cards. Do not use them and stop all card payments. Put extra measures on your credit too. Karma will get these people badly and they will get sick and die!
I had to call Simplified gov to get a better understand on how and should the trust I am applying for. I was handled by someone named Daniel. With patience he explained to me several times what type of trust I needed to set up. Then I had a problem with my email coming through to me and he called me back several times until I was able to complete the whole process. Excellent service!
Since getting a replacement SS card is free, they charge unsuspecting customers (like me) upward of $37 to send a PDF page that can be downloaded from the *real* Social Security government website for free... all you get, in essence, is a pre-paid USPS label.
Despicable! I hope I can get my money back.
I have read all the 1 star reviews and agree with all of them! I even called them scammers on the phone when I called to ask for a refund. Shame on me for trusting a site that looked like a government site. I will always read the fine print from here on out. I was told the supervisor would call me back but after reading some of the reviews I will not hold my breath. DON"T DO IT!
I thought getting an EIN would be daunting, but it took all of 5 minutes. Even though I had a typo on my SSI - the follow up was immediate and the customer service rep was incredibly diligent and helpful.
Awful, paperwork took forever to get back to me with a note that said it cannot be completed. I had to sit at the SS office for hours only to find out that I couldn't complete the application online and it is free to get from the SS office. I contacted govsimplified and they are not helpful at all.
EIN service is free from the IRS. This organization used the IRS logo to scam me out of $295 and then claimed that they were unable to locate my information. This is a fraud and I hope you are smarter than I was.

Don't hesitate to contact them. Their staff is terrific and very customer service oriented as well as the necessary empathy which is needed in some cases. I was very lucky to have been assisted by an agent named Luisa who saw to my every needs. There may be a fee involved but worth every penny for the service provided.

I had tried to get a EIN number from the IRS for three days. Not only myself but my bank as well. I saw the Gov. Simplified site and started the application. When it came to the credit card info., I stopped. I thought it was a bit expensive. I was contacted by the company and after speaking to the representative, I felt more at ease. In less than 24 hours I received the necessary number to settle the Estate. No fuss, anguish or complication. I would not only recommend but strongly suggest your services to anyone in my position.
Once we went to internet we finally found the information needed and applied for the EIN #. It does cost a little $ to get this but it took less than an hour. Results came in form of an e-mail.

This process went well, and it was simplified. I marvel however, how far down the slippery slope of red tape since I was born in 1938. How did we manage to get anything done in those days of yesteryear? The future doesn't look too good either.
This was the easiest part of dealing with my mom's estate. Who would think the federal government could do a better job than banks, credit unions, mutual funds and others I had to deal with in closing out her accounts and distributing the funds to her beneficiaries. Thank You.
I really like the new process for the Fed Tax ID. Much simpler and faster, its about time! Only problem is that I messed up on the form and put the wrong email. I called a day later and all the service agent did was argue with me. He said that I had signed it already and that it must've come through my email for me to sign. Well I signed it right away after I filled it out during the online process. He was more hung up on proving me wrong than getting the problem solved. My fault originally but the guy could've been a bit nicer. The speed of the new system overshadows the agent though, well done government. Now can you get to work on fixing everything else?!

We have explained the customer why we charge also, We have informed the customer that he can use the service anytime and we have offered 50% discount customer agreed and we have issued the refund of $18.50
Since the customer is not satisfied we would issue the remaining refund of $18.50 back to his card on file.
