SS-5 Form received was incorrect. Called 2x to correct, and while customer service was really great, they did not get the form correct, nor was the corrected form ever emailed as promised. Waste of time filling out their site form (which does not correctly save information), and the phone calls to try to correct. Went to SSA Office, and was in and out in 20 minutes. Again customer service was great, I called yet again, and asked for a refund. Waiting... we will see.
I overwhelmed trying to get an Estate ID Number for my son who had passed, after the run around of all the web sites, I was told I had to go through to get an the Number. I was at my wits end. After no success all morning, I was finely told to contact IRS. I talked to Michael who helped me fill out the form. Make my payment and understand what to do next. Easiest On-line government related task I have ever done! I should have done this a long time ago, was expecting hassles. I was wrong. It seems expensive and also didn't realize it is a third party site, which is probably why it's so expensive.
The process was quick and easy. My only displeasure was that I opted to pay the extra to have an instant EIN number but it was on a Friday afternoon in the mountain timezone and apparently I could not get the number until Monday as the offices were closed already. Should not accept or offer instant option after certain time each day.
I was mislead by too many options and spent a good three hours on hold with at least two other contact persons. Finally I saw this number and tried it. To my great surprise my call was answered within three minutes and the gentleman was extremely nice and helpful and the entire experience was made simple and efficient.
Terrible. I had to wait a week before they complied. I needed the number for a non-profit corporation's application for tax-exempt status. They delayed it because they said their was a discrepancy between my name and my social security number. FALSE. Next they said I had not signed my electronic signature. FALSE. These delays aggravated a situation which should have been routine. I was on the verge of reporting them to BBB.

I am currently unemployed but have a great product so decided to start an online store. I applied for an EIN online. I went to the site that looked legitimate www.ein-gov.us and at the end paid $129 for an EIN.
The site was quite deceiving for it used the same layout and colors of the IRS GOV site (I'm a graphic designer).
I went to the bank to open a business account only to find out that I can get an EIN for FREE! I tried to call and was on hold for 15 minutes.
I just emailed them right now and will see if anyone will get back to me.
I feel I was deceived to believe that it was a government site.
I hope to get a refund.

This place is a scam. Don't use. There was no price when I hit submit and then the price showed up as $97. I sent an email immediately to customer service and called at 8am the following day to request a refund. The company would not provide a refund.

Only had one question. Called 800 number and was only on hold for about 5-10 minutes. Question was not only answered quickly, application process was completed over the phone. Didn't have to wait 24 hours to process!
It seemed pretty straight-forward. The only issue is that I mis-typed a number which resulted in the application being rejected with an error message to fix it. I could not see how to make the correction on-line so I had to call the 888 number. However, the phone call was quick and easy. Even the wait was short. The problem was corrected and the submission was successful.
After finding GovSimplified, I had several pay options. I called a toll-free number, and the woman on the phone gave me a less expensive option to pay over the phone via credit card. I was satisfied with the service.
I felt the delivery charges were outrageous and very deceiving, I almost paid $199 for an expedite delivery, instead I only took one upgrade delivery for next day $149 in exchange of the basic $99 but regardless I receive it immediately in my inbox, it really looks like a big scam to get more money for a delivery that doesn't cost a thing, very disappointing very fishy

It was fast easy and the lady i spoke with gave me tips and reminders on some things that i shouldnt erase and make sure i download so later in the future i wont struggle. She was very helpful and took her time. I tried rushing it a bit but she told me to slow down thats why im speaking with her take my time and feom there i felt like i was being heard and not treated like crap. I appreciate it to the lady i spoke with forgot her name.
Customer service was good and helpful but was shocked at how much it cost. Still not quite sure why I needed this but want to stay legal. Not sure how to use it but guess I will find out as I put this fundraiser together.

John was very nice but you have usurped the IRS online services in a very sneaky way. I could have done this online myself for no charge but you charge $109 and make it seem as though you are connected to the IRS. I am very upset and the promised information has not been delivered and I cannot download my SS4 form. You are not to be trusted. You do not answer your help line. YOu are a fraud.

I did this by phone and it was very quick and efficient. The call was answered on the first ring, the person was pleasant and helpful and it only took a few minutes for them to complete the application. I received the EIN number by email within an hour.
