Prices are not fare. Charging later in the booking for for seats, assitancence,isurance etc, is simply indicent.
Arrived at the airport for our return flight and learned that our flight was canceled. Customer service was not helpful and I had to pay out for pocket to resolve with airline separately.

Due to the coronavirus my first leg was canceled and we were (after about 10 hours on hold with this c travel agent) they released the rights of the flight to Lufthansa and Lufthansa put us on another flight to new York When we were up to taking our flight back it was canceled so we turned to the airline. They said that we are entitled to a full refund for the flights but we have to go through the travel agency. So we called the travel agency waited on hold got cut off after 3 hours and this repeated itself a few times over after a few more tries and a five hour hold we were told that they are unsure of what kind of refund we can get but we should just pay them $30 dollars a flight and they will see what they can do for us. They then lied to the bank saying that our flights flew and the charges are legit
I have a email from the airline saying that they refunded them back in June I have not heard from them

The most dishonest website that I ever purchased a ticket from. I got a nonrefundable ticket however i tested + for COVID19 and I could no longer fly due to my terrible conditions. They told me to contact Fiji Airway to cancel my flight and if they accept your refund we will process it for you. They accepted my refund because I show them the proof that I got COVID19, Fiji said I have to go through gotogate since i purchased my ticket from them. Fast forward 6 months later gotogate did not issue my refund. The customer service people are so rude and not helpful I have called them more than 20 times and every time I call i have to explain myself. They lie so much and they will never connect you to a supervisor. MOST TERRIBLE WEBSITE. IM going to sue the $#*! out of them! Based on the customer reviews we should all SUE them for being dishonest to people and holding people's money. RUN FROM THISSSSSSS WEBSITE. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM GOTOGATE.

Gotogate contacted us a few weeks before our flight and let us know that the airline changed our flight. They suggested a new flight or gave us the option to cancel. We chose to cancel. The email read: "We regret to inform you that your flight with order number XXXX has been cancelled by the airline. Please review the available options below and select the one you prefer. [...] Rebook your flight(s) [...] Request a refund for your order."
After waiting for the refund for a few days, we contacted them and they said the airline responded and told Gotogate that they never changed or cancelled the flight and would not give a refund. [For clarification, the airline changed the flight number, however the flight time and date remained the same. Gotogate in fact stated the entire flight got cancelled.] Gotogate said they would contact the airline again and try to receive a refund.
The date of our flight has since passed and the flight never got canceled. After multiple back and forths, Gotogate is now declining to give a refund at all because the airline does not allow a refund. We have lost over $1k using this site with little or no possibility to recoup this.
Beware of their offers. I have read many reviews with the same issue. It seems to be a strategy of this company and you will lose money and lots of time in this process.

I bought airline tickets from Johannesburg to London for three passengers days later we noticed that one passenger needed name correction as we had used her maiden surname in place of her marital surname. Sent an email to the agency for that name change infact that took more than two weeks of back and forth daily with them. In some cases having to start over in explaining our issue. Long story short they then sent an email to confirm name correction. 48 hours before flight time I tried online check in but failed being told I had to proceed to airline. On day of flight Went to the airport 5 hours early was told I can not check in as there was an issue with my ticket. Inquired what the issue could have been I was told they did a change at go to gate as a result my ticket was showing as exchange. With no new ticket issued. I had to call go to gate being made to hold for 3 minutes while they check in the end that 3 minutes turned into 4 hours flight was closed and I missed my flight. From was on a call and chat with them where they promised to fix ended up talking to a supervisor Mervin, but he also promised to call back which he never did. In the end tried to talk to them on chat. The agent then told me there is nothing they can do on their side. I have an option to rebook a flight two days later with a rebooking fee of ZAR 2600. I feel robbed as this wasn't my error to begin with why must I have to pay for their error?am stuck with no ticket and not able to cancel with them as they charging for cancellation too.
They didnt give me back the money that they told me over phone communication and emails for fly thicket that it was delighted. I needed to buy new fly thicket for double money

SCAM - Misleading sales flow and the WORST customer service. When booking it asks for your name upfront before payment which I put a Chris (assuming this was for a gotogate account/review my booking in the future etc. - not clear this is the name for the ticket) this is also the name for my bank card. I purchased a ticket and then when I tried to check in online it wouldn't let me. Usually, it wouldn't have mattered what the purchase name is... as I regularly can check in online and put my details for the flight ticket in (including my full name Christopher). This has never been an issue in the past!. On realising the name was still under Chris and not Christopher, I tried to call them twice before my flight, but all I got was hold music. So failing to get through to their customer service I decided i would check in at the airport. I got to the airport with lots of time, and the airline was really helpfully and supportive. But I was unable to fly due to not being able to change the name to Christopher (which i understand and makes sense).
The airline mentioned I may be able to claim back the taxes from the flight. I called GoToGate customer service and asked if anything could be done... i found them extremely aggressive (interrupting and generally not trying to listen to the issue) when i asked whether i could get any of the money i had paid back they said no and the full amount paid couldnt be refunded. Then when i said i had been told about the possibility of the taxes being refunded, they said that they could do this and would let me know how much (if anything) i would receive.

Please beware of going through gotogate for your trips. This agency is a scamming agency. 2 weeks before my flight to Thailand, I was informed that one of my flights had been cancelled and that I would have to cancel my entire trip and rebook it. Gotogate informed me that I would be getting a refund for my trip but that I needed to rebook the entire thing because they could not get me on a flight that matched up with the schedule of the rest of my current flights. They informed me that I would receive a refund within 1-3 months. It has now been 5 months and they have not refunded me. I try to call them and get absolutely nowhere. They tell me to 'just wait longer'. The status on my gotogate account shows that it is waiting on one of the airlines to approve the refund. I reached out to that airline and they informed me that is absolutely incorrect. I called United to verify that my flight was actually cancelled that day to see if they should be held responsible for making sure I get the refund and I found out that my flight was not even cancelled and, therefore, I would not be issued a refund. I am out the $1300 that I spent on that flight to Thailand and I had to spend another $1300 for a new flight. Gotogate is a scamming agency. I have reached out to other people who have had very similar experiences. They are taking advantage of as many people as they can and hoping they do not get caught. Please avoid agencies such as gotogate.com and Kiwi.com. My family has now been taken advantage of twice between these two booking agencies.
