Good RX was accepted no problem at Safeway. It saved me 96% for generic Cialis. Safeway does require the coupon to be printed on paper. Not just showing the coupon stored on your mobile phone. This is definitely worth using Good RX! 100 % satisfied customer
My old insurance paid a major portion of a medication, but my new insurance pays NOTHING. That left me to potentially fork out $328 for a 1 month supply. I checked out Good Rx, and was skeptical, but what did I have to lose, or go without this necessary maintenance medication. Went to Safeway, where my portion was listed cheapest, and had doc office send Rx. At counter, was charged $13 of a possible $369. No muss, no fuss. Good Rx paid the rest. Thank you. Now I can stay on course with a med I truly need.
Hi Raymond! Our goal is to help Americans save on their medications at the pharmacy and we're glad to hear you were able to locate your medication at a cheaper price!
I try to get a discount on my script and the one they gave me was 23.00 more than what the pharmacy told me it may be good in the past but like most places after a while they don't care about the customer just want to make money off the pharmacy and the people
Hi Greoge,
Thank you for reaching out and letting us know about this pharmacy. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced while trying to use a GoodRx discount. The pharmacies listed on our site are actually contractually obligated to accept the coupons we list. (The only exception to this being controlled substances, as discounts for controlled substances are honored at the discretion of the pharmacy/pharmacist).
I would be more than happy to reach out to your pharmacy and see if we can get the correct discount applied for you. We can also notify the coupon provider of the experience you had with this pharmacy. From there, they will notify their corporate office who can re-educate the staff at this location on their contractual obligations to accept the discount.
To do so, there are just a few pieces of information we will need. I am sending you a private message for this info. Looking forward to working towards a resolution for you!
Please. I am honestly begging you. I will do whatever you want. If you just ask me to look it up BEFORE I fill the script. Don't wait for the price from your insurance. If you think it will be high and you have the card or phone or whatever ready: call ahead. Ask them to compare the prices for you. It will save us both a LOT of time. It does not take 20 seconds, as that commercial may suggest, to change the price for you. My soul dies a little each time I scan out a script and then they pull out their little card. (Also highly do not recommend using the cards. Print it out. At my pharmacy we use our phones for you, but i know a lot of places wont do that, so if u want the EXACT price you found - print it. They change the cards)
I have goodrx app on my phone. When I look up prices, Walmart always tells me that price on my phone, is not what shows up on their computer. For example. I was at the ER today. I was given an antibiotic and pain med. The antibiotic on my goodrx app said $17.98 for ten tabs. Walmart, said they are seeing $29.32. I'm tired of these prices changing. I was told by an ER Doctor, that they have to honor what is on my app, but they don't. Other than that, goodrx has saved me money before.
Hm. Something seems up, as our prices are very accurate and we work closely with Walmart. Would you mind emailing help@goodrx.com so we can dig in and see what's up?
Tried using this for my scripts. I don't have insurance and tried using this card. I went to multiple pharmacies and no one honors it - why? Because it's bogus. Look at all the copy and paste replies from the "Douglas" Among Us. He's nothing but a puppet doing the bidding of his fellow con artists.
If you ever have issues using a GoodRx coupon, just let us know and we can help. Pharmacies are usually contractually obligated to accept GoodRx coupons. Email help@goodrx.com. Thanks.
Everyone in my family has attempted to utilize good rx in the past month or so without success. Every medication I attempt to use it for at Walgreens, they say; " we cant accepted good rx for this medication " I've got a lot medications as well, having stage 4 metastatic brain cancer. Other family members have yet to get it to work. Uncle with heart disease and mom with copd. Have had every medication they attempted to use it on declined. The only one that's had any luck is my niece Kate for her son's medication.
Hello Marc! We are so sorry to hear about the trouble that you have experienced at the pharmacy. We would be more than happy to look into this for you. We will just need you to please give us a call at 888-799-2553, in order to collect the necessary information to reach out to your pharmacy!
I own 2 pharmacies, I understand the pricing of generic medications. If Good RX is saving you tons of money (which it may) you need to find a new pharmacy that isn't ripping you off. Look for independently owned stores. They have the power to change prices and are usually going to give you a fair price and not charge you $150 over the cost of the med, which is what happens when you see a big price drop from Good Rx. Why not find a pharmacy that will give you a fair price from the start? I'd love to hear from you, I'll give you a quote and let you know my cost of the med your inquiring about so you can get an idea of what a good price is. I'm tired of these stupid games.
Thanks for the feedback.
Used the printed out coupon at our local Walgreen and ot worked flawlessly! Thanks so much GoodRX.com! With out this coupon our prescription for a 90 supply would have bee $500, with Good RX it was $32. Will be sure to use again and share with friends and family.

We are seniors and have prescription coverage. I take Fenofibrate 160 mg. A 90 day supply (both generic)
My insurance cost went up to $128.
I got it at Kroger with a GoodRX coupon for $17.91. It is terrible what they do to seniors.
Thank you GoodRX
Google and print out the other pharmacy coupons and Push the issue at the pharmacy. Of Course the pharmacists would prefer to charge a 30 percent co-pay of $1,300 (in my case, for one critical med), too bad. I printed out several coupons and stubbornly stood there until one coupon worked. Rhe line behind me was long and the staff fed up with me, but I won and dropped $1,300 down to $100. No, I refuse to pay astronomical prices for meds I must take daily. Push the issue and don't worry what others think.
All of our coupons are based on contracted rates at pharmacies and are used thousands of times every day without issue. If you're having a problem, we'd love to help - please email help@goodrx.com. Thanks.
Went to Winn Dixie pharmacy to fill at advertised price of $100 and the pharmacist told me (after I sat and waited for a half an hour) then told me that was below their cost. She then tried to tell me she had another discount card for $200. I told her Publix price was $140. Then the Winn-Dixie pharmacist told me she had another discount card she could fill it for $134; but it was not in stock and I would have to come back in 5 days and pick it up. That's 34% higher then the GoodRx advertised price. Costco and Walmart no longer accept GoodRx in my area. This all seems like false advertising and the Federal Trade Commission should look into it.
Hello! Winn Dixie is contractually obligated to accept the GoodRx discount under most circumstances. I'd be more than happy to reach out to this pharmacy and their corporate office so this location does not provide misinformation to you or others in the future! Sending you a message for more information and thank you for letting us know about this incident!
I used three coupons last night from GoodRX and was thrilled! I recently lost my insurance and decided to try them at Walgreens after paying over $35 for each prescription last month for generic medicine for ambien, etc. They didn't even blink, entered the code into the register, and all prescriptions came to under 10 each.
LOVED it and so glad I investigated the web for a cheaper alternative to my meds! Will continue to use them (o:
Took Safeway a prescription normally don't like Safeway but with the GoodRx app it showed my prescription to be only $46. I chose to go to Safeway this time all because of GoodRx. Gave the coupon to the pharmacist and they took the coupon put it in the computer at $46.87. They did not have my medication in and so two days later after I fought to get the $47 up went to pay for my prescription and then all the sudden it had changed to $73 and some change. I feel like they entrapped me. The best deal to go to Safeway only to change it once my prescription had been put into the system. I find that a lot of people try to get whatever money they can right at the very end of bankruptcy or some political change. Please do not use GoodRx because they will in trap and change the prices! I would rather use a pharmacy and pay full price than ever used GoodRx again!
Hi William--We're sorry to hear about your experience using GoodRx at your local Safeway Pharmacy. We'd be happy to reach out to them on your behalf. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, and we'll reach out ASAP!
I needed several kinds of eye drops for cataract surgery. I priced them at Wall-mart and they came to about $500. I heard about GoodRx and checked prices there. (Even Wal-mart was cheaper on GoodRx than what they had quoted me as a walk-in.) I found that a nearby Kroger was the cheapest, had the Dr. call in the prescriptions, and I printed out the GoodRx coupons. When I walked in I would have bet they would not work. BUT I was wrong. The store quickly and cheerfully took the coupons and the eye drops cost me only $380. That is still too much, but a huge savings. I am impressed! I now have the Android AP also.
I love GoodRx! When I have refills due I bring up my medication like it is like gas prices. I switch local pharmacies all the time for best price. I just call the cheapest pharmacy and tell them the medication and where it is. Then they do all the work getting it faxed over to them takes up to 48 hours to get filled but well worth the wait when saving money. Meijer actually now goes ahead and does the goodrx price before I even come in and checks it with my insurance with medicare to make sure it is cheaper and goodrx wins everytime. I just have the coupon text to phone and they scan it off my phone also. If I texted myself two days ago I double check before going in I am still getting the best price. LOVE GOODRX and preach it on my facebook page:)
We are thrilled to hear you are enjoying the GoodRx experience Dona! Way to be your own advocate, and pharmacy flipper; working to find the prices that work best for you. We hope you're finding lots of savings and plan to bring you more benefits with GoodRx in the future!
I totally expected to run into issues using the GoodRx card at Walmart. Instead they accepted it with no problem and the cost of my prescription went from $217 to $55!
I definitely recommend GoodRx and will use it again.
Good RX advertised my inhaler (Proair) at $22.87 at Walgreens. I got there and the pharmacist told me it was $76. That is MORE than my insurance, plus advertised at $22.87. What a crock of $#*!. False advertising, fraudulent. DO NOT USE, complete waste of time.
We can fix this situation for you. Please call us at (888) 799-2553 for assistance.
The first thing I must mention is that pharmacists aren't required to accept it, especially on a controlled substance etc unless you've gone to that same pharmacy for 20 years. It has helped a lot on little things for us, $20 here and there adds up.
Tried several times to get temporary proscription and just keeps throwing me for a loop between continue with your visit, start a new visit or sign in and back to start a new visit, I surely regret this useless membership I've been paying on for the last few years
Hello Eduardo, we're sad to hear your GoodRx experience hasn't been the best. For assistance with your appointment please do give us a call at 415-237-1378; we'd be happy to help!
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
