I am a tourist in the US, got a really bad rash on my skin, nothing OTC worked so I when to a clinic and paid 82 bucks for someone to give me a prescription for Nystatin and triciamcilonone (?) that costed (out of pocket) $300.
I wanted to die.
I googled online to see if I could find a better price and found this, decided to give it a shot.
I went to another pharmacy, a Walmart one, and the cream costed $150, but with the coupon it went down to $67, they didnt have any problem to accept the coupon or anything.
The ONLY con I have to say is that even though the coupon said the cream will end up costing around $48 it ended up being $67, but hey, for a cream that costs $300 a 15mg tube I seriously think I can't argue here, and I didnt have to pay or subscribe or anything.
Please, give it a shot, it might help someone who's desperate.

My subutex is cheaper. My adderrall is way cheaper and my Xanax. Good if u have no insurance! They back what they say most always.
My total prescriptions was $120 and using Good Rx coupon I saved $80 and only pay $40 on my prescriptions I was so happy $$$

One of the reviews on this site stated that they trusted the GoodRx card because it came from their Doctor's office.
Don't let this influence you. I just got a whole packet of these cards in the mail with a holder so that patients could pick them up. I'm sure a lot of other doctors get the same thing. Some put them out without checking into them thinking they are helping their patients. I'm skeptical, so I look into things like this when the come across my desk.
It looks like most pharmacies DO NOT take this card. You may get a discount from some pharmacies; probably most likely because they GIVE you a percentage off to keep you happy, not because they've actually signed up for the card.
Interestingly, the company gets no money from you, the card user, nor do they get money from the Pharmacy. How do they make any money, you might wonder? Probably data mining. They get people to take the card, get them to go to their website, maybe enter some personal information and then they sell that information to other companies.
This company isn't really in the business of discount prescriptions. They are in the business of getting your personal information and selling it to whoever will pay for it, whether the buyer is legit or not.
If you want to use this card, go ahead and try. You might get a discount. You probably won't. It won't hurt (in most cases) to ask. But do not go to their website and give them any personal information. It won't get you a discount and you'll be giving them what they want for FREE.
By the way, I suspect some of the positive reviews here are "planted" by the company producing the cards. I doubt that many people have had a positive experience with these cards.
*********************
I have read the response by the company representative (below). I've called the local pharmacies in my area (Walgreens, Walmart, Albertson's, Medicine Shoppe.) None of them accept GoodRx.
I stand by my review.
The responses suggests that they have a "contract" with pharmacies. However, in most states a contract, by definition, to be legal, must contain one party giving the other party something in exchange for something in return. GoodRx does not help pay for medications. They provide nothing to the pharmacy. They also have no financial relationship with the "customer," the person buying the medication.
I still would like to know how this company can be successful, if they are not being paid by the doctor, by the card user or by the pharmacy.
At GoodRx, we love doctors. In fact, a huge number of people come to GoodRx because their doctor recommends us. However, this doctor seems to just not like us. Unfortunately, virtually all of his claims above are simply wrong. We sent him a note to discuss, but he failed to respond.
Specifics:
1) Despite his claim, virtually every pharmacy in the US will take GoodRx discounts. Our prices are based on contractual agreements with pharmacies.
2) "Data mining"? Sorry, we don't sell our user's personal information. Simply false. It's a bit upsetting to see this doctor write something so completely unsubstantiated. Please provide proof if you think we're selling anyone's data for profit.
3) "You probably won't get a discount." GoodRx helps millions of people every month find discounts, and the average person who uses us saves a ton.
4) "We plant reviews". Sorry, wrong again. We're a small company who lives and dies on the trust and faith of the Americans who use us. You may find it hard to believe, but most people who use us actually like us. Love us, in fact.
We're disappointed when people, especially doctors, make silly claims because they're simply having a bad day. We're happy to have a dialogue with anyone who wants to know more about drug prices and how/why we do the things we do - we have nothing to hide. We hope that the reader will understand that just because someone has taken the time to make up lies on the Internet doesn't make it true.
Thanks for listening.
The clerk at CVS finally stopped faking trying to take goodrx, I ended up paying full price for a much needed asthma inhaler.

Went to Shopko in Freeport il and they said it was a scam and would not honor coupon.
Sorry for the inconvenience. Our prices are based on contracted rates that pharmacies have agreed to accept. Thousands of Americans use GoodRx every day without any issues. Typically, if there is a problem, it's a pharmacist who either misunderstands or simply doesn't want to provide our discount to the customer. We'd love the opportunity to look into this issue for you and resolve on your behalf - we're quite good at it. Please email info@goodrx.com if you'd like us to resolve. Thanks.
WENT TO WALMART FOR GOODRX PRICE AND PRESENTED THEIR COUPON, NO DISCOUNT, PRICE WAS ALMOST DOUBLE WHAT GOODRX ADVERTISED. OCT 26 2017
Hi Roy - our prices are very accurate, it’s possible you looked up the wrong prescription dosage / form / quantity or there was an error at the pharmacy. We want to help. Please email help@goodrx.com and we’ll make it right.

Filled 2 prescriptions at CVS for Nadolol using GoodRX coupons, saving hundreds of dollars. Have not yet tried using the GoodRX card.
They list multiple pharmacies and allow you to specify dosages and quantity.
Sadly, had to rewrite my review! But I'm going to rewrite it, for the simple fact the "GoodRx Representative" was really rude under my last review! Just because I'm being very honest about my mother experience, with the site concerning her "high blood pressure medication"... Everyone isn't going to have a success through them, and why get mad over that? It is what it is really. My mother pays a good amount for her high blood pressure medication, and it seems the price goes up a few months! Especially, when it's time to do a refill on her medication, she's paying a different price for them each time. She wanted to get at least a discount, so I'd mention to her GoodRx, didn't bother to check out reviews good/bad at all, I was going by the commercial on tv instead. Went to the site and put in her Rx brand for her high blood pressure medication. She get's 30 tablets that lasts her a month, and the price that was on GoodRx for that particular pill, was way higher than what she already pays now (at the time)! It wasn't a discount at all, the cheapest or close to being less pricey, was over 30 tablets and she didn't need over 30! Her Rx is for 30 tablets a month from her doctor. I was disappointed and had to let her know, that she'll be coming more out of pocket, using GoodRx! Eventually, she had to change her high blood pressure medication, to something she could pretty much afford! Which was to go for the less generic brand, instead of the actual brand pill. Luckily I'd given it a 1 star, I don't appreciate nobody, telling me what my mother has gotten. If her high blood pressure medication was less expensive, I'd wouldn't of mention GoodRx to her, for her to check out! And she wouldn't need to go through GoodRx, to get a discount if her medication was less expensive... Wouldn't make sense to attempt a discount, if the Rx that you need is less expensive! And also what you can truly afford. If this would of worked for her, I'd wouldn't had no problem giving the company 5 stars. But this didn't work and it was more disappointing, to know GoodRx really didn't give her a good deal/discount, on the medication she needed. That was way too pricey for her to afford. In ways it's very misleading. But hey, if it works for others great! It just didn't do nothing for my mother.
Anyway... Only thing that isn't pricey about GoodRx, is the Rx for animals surprisingly it's less cheaper, to get a discount for my dogs Rx's through them. Instead of going through the vet! Far as Rx's for your own needs, it was just a little too pricey for my mother to use! Just didn't work for her, and that's our opinion/experience.
Our prices are very often lower than co-pays. So just to be clear... you're giving us 1 star because your mother already gets great prices on her medication, thus we're terrible? Gee, thanks.
Got my RX for $138, without Good Rx it was over $800. I was actually shocked it work!
Answer: Yes we do. Just present coupon to save. Have a nice day
Answer: If you have any questions, we're here to help - please email help@goodrx.com and we'll get back quickly. Pharmacists have the discretion to honor or refuse controlled substance coupons, but most of them (like 99%) will take them, which is why we list them (and indicate that they may not be accepted). Hope that helps.
Answer: Hi Terry! You will need to present the coupon to the pharmacist, usually before, they fill a prescription. If you doctor's office is willing to do so for you then it may be okay, but we would suggest you present a new coupon each time you fill or refill. Sometimes our prices fluctuate and checking the coupons may get you a deeper discount. If you, or your doctor, presented a coupon and the pharmacist, for whatever reason, says the coupon cannot be used please give us a call at 1-888-799-2553, our Advocacy Team would love to assist you! Our hours are Monday-Sunday, between the hours of 8AM and 7PM CT.
Answer: Hi there - can we help you? Head to our help section for information on how we do business.
Answer: It takes very little time. Immediately after sign up you'll receive the information you need to purchase at our discounted rates.
Answer: Hi Shirley! We list coupons for Phentermine here: https://www.goodrx.com/phentermine Please be sure to update the script details and zip code to see prices for your area.
Answer: Please give our GoodRx support team a call at 888-799-2553, so they can contact the pharmacy regarding the price discrepancy, Steve. They're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: GoodRx can be used in place of Medicaid as long as the two aren't combined. Please give us a call at 888-799-2553, so we can contact the pharmacy on your behalf. We're available Mon-Sun, from 6 AM to 9 PM CT.
Answer: Great question, Don! Since GoodRx compares prices at different pharmacies, there are sometimes lower prices with a GoodRx coupon. If you have a GoodRx Gold account, you are still able to use a GoodRx coupon if you find that it offers a better price for your prescription at a pharmacy in your area.
Answer: Hello there Anita, we're sorry for your frustrating experience at Walgreens. Please give us a call so we may investigate this and reach out to the pharmacy on your behalf. We can be reached at 888-799-2553, Monday through Sunday from 8am to 7pm CT.
GoodRx has a rating of 2.8 stars from 604 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with GoodRx most frequently mention customer service, coupon price and discount card. GoodRx ranks 1st among Pharmacy sites.
That’s correct. Advair is a brand drug and it’s hard to find good savings - although we do offer manufacturer coupons and other savings tips. We save tons on generics and we can help a bit on brands when you don’t have good coverage - it appears you have very good insurance and, in this case, you should use it!
