Go daddy.com is a great place to buy a domain for $. 99 but that's it... SEO search engine optimization/page index are not set up to really put your page on the proper index throughout the different search engine's of the world. SEO means search engine optimization so those spiders call crawlers look for keywords to indexYour website. Websites or just not the only thing you need to link to anymore as well as YouTube and other landing sites to coordinate it to make it one complete website.
What a rip off! Totally screwed by GoDaddy. Paid for their service and have been mislead, misinformed, and flat out lied to by customer service. After a month of being jerked around I asked today's supervisor named Caleb who I could speak with to lodge a complaint with and he said, no one. I asked him how he was gong to handle the misinformation I previously received, he sent me an email on a totally unrelated subject. GoDaddy just plain sucks
My renewal came up and it was set for automatic renewal, which renewed three times what I originally paid. After calling customer service and dancing around. I absolutely got nowhere. I got told sorry too bad all you can do is cancel and you'll lose your whole domain. No one would say let's see what we can figure out here and keep you as a customer bad bad customer service and of course no refund offered or nothing. Just deal with it and get over it and please call us on your next renewal and see what we can do.
Customer service is horrid. Unless you like chatting with bots that cannot handle simple tasks. Bumped off phone call after waiting hours. Bumped off of chat too. Email issues with their system have gotten worse. Customer service has gotten worse and worse over the years and if you can find a human, they want to sell you products more than solve problems.
This site is dangerous. They stole my domain name after I made a search on their website it took them one hour to buy it while I was doing my research. They are very aggressive to upsale you, they increase pricing when you stay with them. Bad business. Do not recommend. Stay away from these people.
Do not under any circumstances sign up with godaddy.com. They lied to me, and would not refund my money. Their web builders are not trained, they do not listen, and they do not build websites that anybody would want to publish. I was lied to, told that I could pay $1200 in advance for 10 years and I could build my own website. When I called them and said I don't know how to build my own website, they said you do not have access to build your own website, you were lied to. We will not refund your money, but we will build you a magnificent website that you can be proud of. After working with them for six months, I could not get them to build a website that I would publish under my name, because it was so amateurish. Their builders do not listen, or understand. I had actually built a website that I asked them to copy but make better for my $1200. They did not. When I asked Go Daddy to refund my money, they said you need to ask for a refund within 30 days, even though they did not tell me this was the case. Do not under any circumstances sign up with them. They are dishonest, and sell you products you don't need, and then refuse to refund when they don't give you the products and the service that you paid for.
They are the effing worst for support and pricing. I've been trying to gain access to my account for 4 days now and it is still unresolved. Their tech people say they'll send me an email with info I need to fill out but they never send it. I have phoned them several times and it always the same story. If corporate would actually get their heads out of their asses and do their job, I would consider keeping my account with the company. As soon as this matter is resolved, I'm going to cancel my account and go with WIX or Shopify. I would never recommend GoDaddy to anyone.
Wanted to upgrade my account and had a few clarification inquiries. It me one hour with customer service and still had no response. I think the person must have engaged several other people to answer simple questions which made it ridiculously lengthy and half the time the answers I got did not make sense.

I am definitely cancelling my subscription, not over reacting but this is honestly the worse service ever provided in my life, there is no help center you have to hire someone for help the dashboard is not clear and concise instead it just bombards you with things you can buy. I would give negative stars if I could.
I'm an long time customer but notice they time and time try to cheat me, this was the end I think when buying their bigger package with ssl, mail, domains, hosting pretty much eveything they got for a high price and long term contract. Found out they didn't provide me with what I was expecting when took the issue upp they was either u pay or pay no responsibility at all for false advertisements or customer service.

Three years ago I opted to secure a domain name for my business with GoDaddy. However, they signed me up for web hosting when I already had a secure site host elsewhere. I tried to cancel this GoDaddy "managed hosting service" that I have never used, but was given the complete run-around with inaccurate responses by their customer service. When I asked for a refund on a pre-paid annual hosting plan that I canceled, I was told "Yes, we can see you've never used it, but then why didn't you tell us?" While part of this is my fault for not checking exactly why I was being charged, the "customer is wrong" attitude and refusal to refund pre-paid services (that I let them know I am not using, nor ever will) seems unethical. And, if you do get a CS person, be prepared to be on the line/chat/text for over an hour with absolutely no resolution to your problem. Stay away is my advice.
I was suddenly charged unjustly for a renewal of website domain which I have purchased 2 years ago and requested for a refund. Hence, I contacted customer service and besides apologising repeatedly, he was not helpful in understanding my issue. More importantly, there is not space on the website to share my feedback other than the chat.
All services of GoDaddy are good except for helpdesk. They mention 'Award-winning, 24/7 sales & support" but their support staff lack perfection. When they are unable to answer the queries they refer to contact technical staff, This technical staff also take more than 72 hours. They need to make improvement as per my interaction
Buyer beware. They advertise all kinds of perks on the phone that they later tell you are not included or possible. They took 6+ weeks and could not come up with a draft of my site. Finally sent me a draft link which never worked and showed the icon and logo of a completely different company. Now arguing with them to refund the $2,000 they pre-charged my card.
Much better to go with Shopify.
Incompetent support team. Usually you call back 3 times and get someone with a brain. Not at go daddy. Premium Support must be some sort of cheap project where go daddy gets free help from uneducated people with no motivation to get a job.
Could I possibly give them less than one star. This company is terrible. I've been with GoDaddy for more than 8 years. All I would like to do is re-direct my website to GoDaddy and shut it down, and then have GoDaddy host my email rather than another company. I'm trying to give them more of my business. After waiting on hold more than an hour, the customer service person, who doesn't speak English accidentally hung up on me. Then, I tried the online chat. After waiting more than 30 minute to get a live person, they were unable to help me and claimed I was a security risk, and suggested that I should call customer service instead. I called multiple times and the call center messages always say my hold time will be more than 60 minutes. Finally, today, the message said it would be 24 minute, so I decided to hold. I'm sitting on hold now, it's been 28 minutes.
Got account with them as I needed a domain. Their website suggested me 2 step verification so I did. The very next login, I was asked for 6 digit pin code from GoDaddy mobile app. Unfortunately such an app doesn't exist.
I rang the customer services. The agent asked me for a code from the mobile app... When I ask, how do I get that app? He said, you can't cause there is no app
So they said, they wouldn't help me and just give me a link to not working change request website.
Sounds like a Scammers with a sense of humor to me. They are charging me and I can't do nothing but block them from my PayPal...
I wasted an hour speaking to one of their representatives who wasn't helpful and was simply rude. They are holding my domain hostage and due to their "system issues" I can't transfer it to another company. I will never register domain with them again! Moving to WIX.com - much better system and better customer service.
My business site has been down for two days and my IT department mostly can't communicate with them 300 minute waits on phone. When he has been able to communicate with GoDaddy they have no idea when problem will be fixed.

Answer: Do not use this company. Go daddy excessive fees, will keep adding fees claiming lack of security, and also has a policy that will ask for private information such as passport, license if you ever change your phone number even though they will talk to you on the phone.
