Placed order on and 11/14 paying extra for 2-3 day shipping. Received email that they were being shipped on 11/21 – should have received on 11/24. Contacted GlassesUSA on 11/24 and received an automated email to CDL shipping which showed the delivery was to happen by 11/25. No delivery on 11/25 and CDL website updated delivery to 11/26. Next day website updated delivery to 11/27, then 11/28, then 11/29, then 11/30. I contacted GlassesUSA who assured me that my order had been shipped. CDL shows that GlassesUSA created a tracking number on 11/19 but didn't give the package to CDL until 11/26. Contradicts GlassesUSA emails. Sent 6 additional emails to CDL, who finally said they were having issues and would deliver 12/1-12/3. Received incorrect glasses, not what I had ordered.
GlassesUSA uses CDL as their shipper in the northeast, CDL doesn't have accurate tracking and has poor reviews. Very poor service
I purchased a pair of Muse M Classic Purple/Green multicolor frames recently. The frames were delightful and very well constructed. So, I had no problem at all with GlassesUSA frames quality. My biggest issue/concern was how slow the shipping was... I'm talking about back in the day, old-school 2-to-4 WEEKS slow! **But maybe I was just impatient.** Still, I think the shipping should be faster so that the purchaser can enjoy or evaluate their product sooner, in-person.
I spent a good amount on Ray Ban prescription glasses with the thinnest lens that they offer and I plan to return them. They are bottle cap glasses. There is nothing thin about them. I understand that my prescription is strong, however, I have never had to wear thick lenses. I have added pictures to compare my glasses from the eye doctor (black and white glasses with thin lenses) and my glasses from GlassesUSA. Waste of time and money.

I ordered prescription sunglasses. Three days later the company notified me that the glasses went to
Their quality control department and that I would receive an update within a few days with tracking info.
Ten days later no update. So I called them and they sent me a DHL tracking number that was assigned
November 18,2021. As of today, November 30,2021, the glasses have not been received. So I contacted DHL. They say that Glasses USA has yet to submit the package to them to be processed for shipping.
I then tried to cancel my order and I request a refund. So far they have refused to send me any confirmation of either cancellation or refund. I have initiated a dispute through Pay Pal.

Ordered some glasses about 3 weeks ago now. Paid for the express shipping. No updates to tracking. Ridiculous every time I email the same person responds with the same email. USPS has your order but perhaps they didn't scan it but we assure you it's on the way. Cmon man give me a break if you guys have received that update why haven't I? Customer service person I spoke to sounded like he didn't care at all when I called as well. Please save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere

I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses about two weeks ago. It was a horrible experience. First, they sent the confirmation of my order, along with my personal information to another person. Luckily, that person called me (because they sent him all of my personal information) and let me know of the problem, he also canceled the order because he thought it was a scam (Understandable). I called customer service, got an apology and was assured that my order would be reinstated. It never happened. I spoke to another customer service person who told me it wasn't even possible for them to reinstate the order and that I would be getting a refund. That still hasn't happened. I asked numerous times for a supervisor to call me, that hasn't happened either. I would strongly suggest that anyone looking to purchase glasses online not use Glasses USA. It has been a horrible experience!

All customers should be aware of their return policy. I ordered 3 pairs of glasses, no prescription, to try on on for size. I finally opened the package and tried the frames on and did not like their fit.
I requested a RMA and was denied because it was outside their 14 day policy. In essence, I have $225 dollars worth of frames, not discounted, that don't fit right and unable to return! Please be aware of their return policy. In addition, the customer service Rep based in the Dominican Republic was useless! I will never buy another pair of glasses from them again. Pay more and go to Warby Parker!

This company is a joke. My glasses were to be at my house in 3-5 business days. And after calling and requesting a refund they haven't arrived yet but was told they would be here tomorrow. I am not holding my breathe.

In most normal retail transactions, the discount is applied before sales tax. GlassesUSA applies it to the total before the discount. Example: My order total was $297 and insurance paid $244, for an amount of $53 for my total to pay. However, when I got to checkout, sales tax had been added of $23, or 43% tax on what I was to pay. When questioned, they said they charge tax on the original amount of $297. This goes against any normal practice that I know of. I moved on to another online provider.
WOW! I have never seen a company so inept! Everything they said was dishonest. They promised all help and delivered NONE!. They promised to help with whatever they could so I could submit a claim to my insurance company. Still, when I called for help, they told me multiple times that 'they do not do that' because my insurance company requires an employee's name, number, and signature. I did not receive the tracking information until the date it was delivered. Then when I got my glasses, they were not even close — I ordered women's glasses and received men's glasses. They got the case correct (good job!). It was evident that I received someone other person's glasses because they were a different frame and a different prescription that was not even close to mine — haven't they heard of Quality Assurance? They do not know where they sent mine. Then, when they promised to email me a label to return the glasses, I had to call multiple times, always promising more. We'll see how the refund process goes. I am not holding my breath. I can usually deal with difficult situations, but I am beyond my wit's end dealing with this company's customer service line. It is the worst!

I ordered my glasses in late October due to the affordable pricing and being told by a customer service representative that I would definitely have my glasses within 14 days with the express shipping. During the purchase everything was fine and my glasses were shipped on 11/4/2021 according to the email that I received. I paid for express 3-5 day shipping, which meant my glasses should have arrived no later than 11/9/2021. My glasses have still not arrived. I have called customer service four times and they do not appear to be putting in any effort to help resolve this issue. I requested a supervisor call back and I was told that they would contact me within 24 hours and I have yet to receive a call. This is the worst experience purchasing glasses that I have ever had. I would rather stay with the other vendor that I was using, pay more and have my glasses on time than to go through this again.

I had originally bought two and was happy with the lenses so decided to buy two then another three. Then first pair broke, then another and yet another. So now less than a year with three broken pairs from the fragile frames. You get what you pay for and apparently I need to find a better manufacturer of glasses with a better quality. Site says 7-10 business days for shipping, but be ready to wait for over a month. Can't even inquire about your order until 10 days after the expected DELIVERY date, meaning they can just keep changing the ETA so the ten day mark never actually rolls around. Overall, still good prices for the quality, but disappointed in the customer service.

Its been over 3 weeks and still no glasses. My glasses arrived to DHL locally 3 days ago. However DHL tell me they gave it to the post office today and although glasses USA paperwork indicates a signature is needed and this is what I wanted, DHL advises that the post office will not do this and glasses USA don't have it on the paperwork. Instead it will if it ever arrives (as we have a problem with our postal delivery service), sit in the mailbox as I leave the country for 3 months and God only knows what will happen to them. This is the worst service I have ever used and I'm kicking myself for trying to save money. Multiple phone calls to the company and DHL didn't help. I offered to pick it up from the DHL plant where they were. No amount of trying to get them. I will never use them again.

I would stay away from this vendor, there are far better ones in terms of service and price. I bought a pair of glasses, which was unreasonably delayed by them. They were not following up with it and dropped the ball; I had to call many times to have them complete. Then when they finally sent the glasses, I was away on a two week travel. Upon return, I found out that the frames were defective and one arm was getting stuck -- I don't know how it possibly passes the final inspection they claim to perform. I contacted them to return or to repair, but they said it was passed the 14 day warranty period, despite their delay. I wasted all that money on a pair of glasses that I cannot use.

I order number of glasses from them. My prescription is little high, quality is gone bad. Last one they sent me had total wrong glasses and i started getting headache. Initially i thought it would take some time to adjust but it got worse. I sent emails and they asked me to go to doctor and get written letter that glasses are actually wrong. This was bummer as i have ordered about 10 times there. It was not worth to chase. Their quality is gone bad. Whatever they say, quality assurance and all is fake. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
