I purchased the youth stark frames in brown in november. My son accidently broke the ear piece off this evening. I used the chat module to figure out my options; i was curious about repair services. The employee stated they didnt offer that, so i asked about exchanges or returns for broken items and was told i had 14 days from purchasing to return. I feel as though the quality and functionality of the frames should be more important than being able to return a pair that just didnt look good. I am very displeased with the way the chat went, as there was no "sorry for the inconvenience" "or i apologize that i wasnt able to assist your needs". I will not purchase from this website, the cost of frames and lenses is no cheaper than other optometry services, and at least repairs or exchanges are offered elsewhere

Glasses were delivered while I was on vacation. When I returned and discovered the glasses were way too big for me, I was not able to return for refund or exchange. Only 14 day return policy. No more GlassesUSA for me.

The initial deal offered on most sales through glassesusa is great. They offer steep discounts, free express shipping, etc, etc. I ordered my glasses and they arrived in record time. That's when the problems started. I took the glasses out of the box, put them on, and noticed definite blurriness. I checked the prescription they sent, and it was incorrect. I contacted the glassesusa customer service department, and after nearly 30 minutes of waiting, I was told to send the old pair back via snail mail, and once they were received, a new pair would be made and shipped to me using standard shipping. Since the mistake was made by glassesusa, I requested that the correct pair be sent out immediately using the shipping method from the original order. I just wanted my glasses. I was told that there was nothing that could be done, I would just have to hunker down and wait. And wait I did. The turnaround time for the whole process was about a month and a half. For one pair of glasses.

Called in twice about an issue I had with my order. Returned one item in my order for a full refund and exchanged the other. I received both pairs back in the mail and was told I am no longer able to return the pair I wanted to return in the first place for a full refund. The customer service rep who I got both times I called in, continually talked over me and kept talking in circles and was extremely hard to understand. Up until this point I was very pleased with Glasses USA. But at this point I don't think I will be making another purchase in the future. This problem has still yet to be resolved.

Answer: I got the same B. S. handed to me. After more than double the stated time and lack of response, I cancelled my order and notified my credit card company.

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. We can be easily reached at any time, including weekends and holidays at all times to answer any questions and concerns. Our dedicated customer service team works around the clock to make sure any and all issues are taken care of. We are always working on improving all of the above, whether by opening new facilities, working and negotiating our agreements with carriers or expanding our customer service team and making them more efficient. The results are there and the vast majority of our customers are very satisfied with our services. We heartily suggest trying our services and seeing for yourselves.

Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
