Stay FAR away if you don't want to wait forever for your glasses. My only pair of glasses broke so I decided to take advantage of the buy 1 get 1 at glasses usa. After multiple e-mails and not getting anywhere, I decided to look up this site's reviews. WOW... I should have done that BEFORE I ordered. I have never seen so many negative reviews on a company and i'm here to add to the ever growing collection. I just spoke with chat service, to avoid the rigamarole over the phone. I told them I wanted to cancel before it shipped and I confirmed that it didn't ship and was still in production process. Once I filled out their cancellation form, there was NO confirmation. I asked the rep why and she said they don't do that... I asked her to scrn shot the cancel she saw on her end and she said she was not allowed to do that. She told me AFTER the fact, that once the cancel process was done, I would be refunded within 30 days. 30 DAYS? She said that was the longest it would take and would go through sooner. RIGHT. In 2019 I have to wait that long for a refund? Also had no idea these were coming from TAILAND and not USA. That would explain why it takes so long to get them. So, in an effort to avoid having to return horrible glasses or waiting longer than I can, I submitted for refund. Now I feel uneasy about doing that. I live on a small budget and cannot even afford to buy new glasses at a different place, until I receive my refund for these! The most horrid customer service I have ever experienced. Who doesn't send confirmation e-mails? This has taught me to always check reviews from now on...
Told I am not able to ship my new glasses back to change the lenses. Recently got eye exam and my prescription changed. I was in warranty time frame but I was told to take it somewhere else!

AWFUL. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! My experience started with the initial order being placed On October 25th and finally has come full circle April 6th. They made both of my glasses with the wrong prescription twice. The first time they sent them to me both pairs, distance and readers, were so so far off they were not wearable. Knowing their return policy I contacted them to explain that I would have to send them to my eye doctor's lab to see how they checked out. This, of course, would put me out of the time frame of a return. When I called to explain THEY SAID NO PROBLEM. VERY long story short... when it happened again I requested a refund. Their reply was I wasn't in the time frame of a return! Seeing as they record conversations, I suggested for them to reference it. No luck with that! Couldn't speak with a supervisor either. To get me off the line, the rep finally said to me that they would refund me. WELL, that was a lie. I even explained that it wasn't fair that the my doctor's office had to keep sending them to his lab (HIS expense) a total of three times! Finally, the pair for distance check out correctly, and the readers were STILL off, but am not going to bother having them remade AGAIN! In addition, every time I called the company the person on the other end had such a strong accent I had a hard time understanding them. My suggestion... stay away from this company... stay local!

Awful customer service! This company is a scam that uses bait and switch tactics to scam customers. Then simply doesn't answer customers emails. After over a month of dealing with a return, they have still done NOTHING to resolve the return.
Even the name of the company is misleading! They are in Thailand and their representatives barely speak English!

For several days UPS has been sending me notifications about a package that was sent to me from Thailand (things like it clearing customs). None of us had ordered anything from out of the country, so we were puzzled.
The package was finally delivered today. Inside were the two pairs of prescription sunglasses I ordered from GlassesUSA.com. They never sent a shipping notification and, silly me, I expected them to actually be sent from the USA. I ordered from them a few years ago, and there was no indication they were made in Thailand or anywhere other than the United States. Maybe the tracking has just become more transparent...
If you prefer to purchasing "Made in the USA" items, don't order from them!

In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Our delivery department works toe to toe with all of our carriers to make sure our glasses are delivered as promptly as possible. We also offer a variety of shipping options that ensure a faster delivery for any interested customers, but our customers need to keep in mind shipping times do not include production time. Our customer service is available by phone, email, chat and social media around the clock, 24\7. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
