First of all my first order was put in on Nov 20,2020.
I did not received them until the first week in January. That was 7 weeks and the order was wrong,
I have Dyslexia so anything I do I always have some one check what I do.
Then some one from your company call on December 3, if I had wanted the order to go through,
I called on December 28, and no answer to where my glasses were.
On the 4th called 11:57 left a message to call back never did, on the 4th again at 3:08 called again nothing,
One day after got the glasses and they were wrong.
I called on the 8th to see what I could do, got points to get new glasses,
Put the order in on January 12 and got charged $5.95 shipping. Which I payed that day on the 12th,
Even though I picked out frames $10.00 cheaper,
I didn't check my text for a few days when I did they said my order was on hold,
I called on the 20 of January only to find they said I did not pay the $5.95
They did not apply it to the bill.
I proved that I payed and they said they would put the order in, on the 12th
Got up and checked today and they still have not put the order in,
It's January 24 that's three months to get this company to get this order right?
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANY ONE!
So I ordered a pair of glasses from this place, obviously, and what a NIGHTMARE it was!
First I saw that they had charged my card twice. I called and got through to someone right away and had let them know and they said that the second charge would be refunded and asked if I still wanted the glasses; I said yes and they said they would process the order. Okay, fine.
Then, about 10 days later, I decided to check the progress of my glasses - I got the standard shipping; ORDER CANCELLED. However, they held on to my money, so I tried to call and got their voicemail. I left my name, number and asked for a call back asap. 3 days later and still no answer or returned call. THREE DAYS. I sent an e-mail asking them why my order was cancelled and then sent back an automated response that had NOTHING to do with my original question.
2 weeks later and still no glasses, no communications and my order still says it was cancelled. Still, I can not get through to ANYONE.
3 weeks later and someone finally answers. I tell them my problem and they tell me they're going to straighten it out and send my glasses as soon as possible.
4 weeks later and I get a phone call stating that my order has been "on hold" for a month now, "do you still want the glasses?" YES. JUST SEND THEM TO ME ALREADY. However, since you continue to screw up, I want my shipping upgraded at no charge to me. "Oh of course! No problem!"
FINALLY, my glasses were being processed and shipped over a month after my order was originally placed. Did they upgrade my shipping? No. Did they apologize for anything? No. Do they give a crap at ALL about their customers? NO.
I will NEVER order from this place EVER AGAIN nor will I recommend them to ANYONE I know!
EDIT--DOWN TO 3 STARS: I posted on glassesshop's website to review these glasses, and gave them 4 stars with a very brief rundown of the experience below. Checked the site a few days later, and glassesshop switched it to 5 stars and edited out some of the customer service critique. Lying about or modifying customer reviews is no bueno in my book, and there are plenty of other honest sites to order from out there.

Ordered from the "first pair free" deal on 3/12/16. I ordered from 2 online glasses stores for the first time ever within a couple days of each other. The other place, I ended up placing an order, receiving the order, then placing a second order after liking my glasses, and receiving order #2 in the mail in the same amount of time it took glassesshop to send me 1 order of no-frills, single vision glasses.
I had contacted customer service on 3/22 to check the status, as online it showed my order status had been "sent to sorting facility" (in MI) for the past 5 days. I was told on 3/22 the glasses would arrive in Michigan in 2-3 days, and then would be shipped to me. On 3/28, my online order showed my pair still en route to MI, and no sign of it shipping to me. Today (3/28,16 days after placing the order), I checked my mail and my glassesshop order was in there, and probably had been there for a couple days. It had actually been shipped from MI on 3/21, but nothing in their system had been updated to reflect this, and customer service didn't seem to have any idea. While customer service was friendly, the process was disorganized and they did not seem to know the true status of my order.
The glasses:
The glasses are actually incredible. They are higher quality than the other site I ordered from (and had been pleased with.) The lenses are clear, there is no eye strain whatsoever, the frames are durable, and look better than pictured online. There is a BOGO sale that ends today. Truthfully, if they had arrived here sooner, I would have put my second order in with glassesshop instead of the other company, even though glassesshop is a few bucks more, even with the BOGO. At this point, I don't need any more pairs. In the future, I would order again, as long as I did not mind being "in limbo" with the order status and there was another BOGO sale.
The glasses themselves, I would give 5+ stars. It's the lack of correct order status, customer service not knowing my true order status, and the (relatively) longer shipping time that knocks my overall rating to a 4. The fact that they were free and I only had to pay $9.90 for handling/shipping makes it a sweeter deal, and a great way to hook in new customers like myself. I'd say it's worth giving it a try, especially if you can take advantage of the first pair being free to test it out.

I hate to write reviews, but this company deserves one. I was scared to order from them because of the reviews but the price was so tempting. I bought two pair of progressives for $127 with expedited shipping. I got them in 10 days. They were perfect and I love them. I worked at an Eye Dr's office for years. I made the lenses and put them in the frames and did the quality check. You as a customer need to check the measurements of the frames. Don't just guess. Where I worked the glasses I bought would have cost me $900 easy. You are NOT getting less quality by ordering online. I ordered the lenses I know what they cost. I saw what was paid for the frames. I would never ever order from a brick and mortar. I know their prices have to cover rent and overhead. Also if the RX is not working for you, and they want you to confirm the lenses are incorrect by the Dr, what they mean is go get them checked. Also it cost nothing to have that done. Reviews make you think you have to pay for that. You don't. It's the logical next step. I've seen people complain because they wanted reading glasses. You have to put in the RX that you need. I know how to transpose mine but you need to ask the Drs. Office for the RX to be changed for you. If you want reading glasses, get one for that along with your normal prescription. If you want intermediate ask for that or explain to them in your words what you want and they can figure out what you are talking about. They will give it to you. I do feel like this might need to be explained on the site. Or like, on Zenni they will do it automatically for you if you need. I could say more but my point is, it's a great deal, do your homework. It's more than worth to wait remake if you need. I had to remake lens before many many times. It just happens. A lot of the negative reviews are because people don't know what's going on. I would wait 6 months for these because of the price, but you won't have to. I didn't add a photo because I just didn't want to take the time as I do hate to write reviews and obviously I am no good at it. I forgot. When your Drs. Office finds out you are gonna order online they will try to tell you that if the PD is wrong that they won't be able to tell. That is a bunch of HOOEY. There is no reason that they give that should make you not order unless maybe you have some ridiculous high amount of prism. I could go on forever. I'm going to stop now.

I am so happy about my first order. It was worth waiting. It arrived safely with no damages and these frames look just like they did in the pictures. They are also lightweight and super comfortable to wear.

Shipping took a bit longer than I expected. I was hesitant on ordering online but I am glad I did. The frames are great but have one small issue. The arms aren't completely straight so they warp towards your head and after hours of wear it hurts.

Answer: Because of Covid, I paid $25 for expedited shipping. Unbelievably I received a tracking shipping number in the morning and received my glasses that night!
Answer: This company offers horrible customer support. There are many more companies out there who actually provide customer service. Their return policy is deceiving. The return policy is misleading first stating 90 days then telling you to read below. Now it is only 14 days and only 50%.
