Really good price and felt the hotel reflected what I had spent. However I know prices tend to fluctuate depending on season, so would not have been v. impressed if I had paid a lot more as there were elements that could have been improved. My shower did not work properly, the shower was also rusty. The dinning room was very dated in its interior. Plus sides were the central location, nice and clean, and the interiors of the rooms were fairly neutral.
As others I thought i9 was booking directly with the residence Marriott but soon found out by email that it was get a room. My friends room the same night was 50 bucks cheaper. We were there for a funeral. We compared receipts. No help from company. Hid the cost in Tax. Fraud.
Peppermill registration tried to tell us that the website didn't confirm the king bed and that we would have 2 queens until I showed them my confirmed reservation. I overheard the same speech to two other customers near me. Their buffet was totally overpriced, $80.00 for two senior citizens.
If rating could be negative it would. Looked like I was booking rooms through hotel. Made reservations for 2 rooms. The person I traveled with paid for her room. When I received my CC bill, I was charged for both rooms. Checked and the person I traveled with was charged for their room at a much lower price than I'm getting stuck with. They will not reduce it. Still trying to get her part of the bill removed.
I would give zero stars if possible! NEVER book with this company! They will rip you off with fees. They charge 46% more than the price offered! They don't provide a refund, whereas the hotel I booked from does provide a full refund within 24 hours. I accidentally booked with getaroom.com because it was on the website of the hotel and I clicked on the wrong thing. Expedia offered the room for $10 cheaper than getaroom.com, and getaroom.com states if you find a room cheaper they will give you a refund or at least refund you the difference. They do not! This website is a scam! Beware! NEVER BOOK THROUGH THIS WEBSITE!
While viewing properties on the site, the rates were constantly changing so that by the time I have viewed the possibilities, a rate of $175/night changed to over $200 and the downtown location I was originally interested in was over $300... looked like bait and switch to me. Not satisfied.
Only booked 1 night in Reno, shouldn't have been too hard. Agent was barely English speaking. I had to spell everything to her. The room was booked as smoking with 2 queen beds. I had requested non smoking, 1 king. She also told me this included all fees. I was a bit dubious and of course there was a $25 resort fee, which was on top of $24 of tax and convenience fees getaroom.com already charged. Won't be bothering with them again.
Always leery of booking hotels on line. But gave it a shot. Paid over $200 for one night. NON-REFUNDABLE! So we were in no matter what. Recommendation for GetARoom,,,, Scope out the hotels before posting on your site. The price paid was not close to what the room was worth!
I wanted to cancel the reservation because I made it at the wrong la quinta Inn in. Tyler texas. My son is getting married 8 hours away and the out of town wedding party I am with is at another motel. La quinta inn reservations have been great. Will not recommend you to anyone esp any of the wedding guests.
I searched online for a specific hotel's website to make a reservation. Apparently, the site I chose had a toll free number to call, so I did. The agent that assisted me, although very cordial, did not once identify themselves as a Get A Room agent so I just assumed I was booking with the hotel directly. The next morning I get 7 reservations for a 14 day stay booked two days at a time! I called back to cancel and was told they could not refund my money unless the hotel refunded their money. In addition, the service fees for the 7 reservations were added and utterly ridiculous. Very sneaky Get A Room! Never Again!
My rep Karen was so easy to work with and efficient! She guided me to make the best choice for my family and I on a hotel room. Polite and respectful. I will use this service again in the future due to her help.
I thought I was booking through the Willard Intercontinental; turns out I was actually on a clone website created by GetARoom. They charged me an additional $104 in fees and refuse to refund. I have reported this business to the BBB. Unfortunately because it's a company that imitates other reputable hotels and organizations I don't think I could have known this until it was too late. Their customer service is abysmal and rude. I have reported them of fraud through my credit card company as well.

After I gave them the below review, I got a phone call saying they would refund my money and they have since done so.
I wish I could give zero stars. I reserved a room through what I thought was the hotel website, only to find out later it had gone through a third party. When trying to cancel due to findinf s better deal they told me it as non refundable. This is absurd to me! Total scam!
I called the reservation number thinking I was calling the hotel direct. Not realizing until after I booked and received my email confirmation that I used a 3rd party and paid much more than I would've booking direct.
I went to check into said hotel only to find that they didn't charge the resort fee and I had to pay additional $71. The front desk clerk advised how cheap the walk up price was less than what I paid.
**Getaroom update 11/23/22 - I did get a partial refund with prompt response to my issues. Thank you for the follow up and understanding. Made it a little less painful.

Thought I was calling Hilton directly, but not the case. What should have been a simple reservation, was so difficult to get through. When I arrived at the hotel, the reservation did not include our pet which the Getaroom rep said it did and find out that I'm not eligible for honors awards because it was a third party reservation. Horrible experience dealing Getaroom. I have now added the Hilton app so I don't make the same mistake. Have to say though Home 2 Suites in Little Rock West on Shackleford Rd. Is awesome. We travel with our dog - the room was clean, smelled amazing and the staff exceptional.

They hijack you from the hotel web site then bait you with a low price then Switch to a much higher price once they have your credit card information then tell you it's non refundable.
Get a room customer service did reach out with a letter. The letter was a red herring The bank declined the refund. Because I had agreed to the terms prior to knowing they were going to charge an extra $300.00 +
So Get a room responded with a letter with again no way to contact them and no resolution.

I was told it would be a 2 minute hold time. After 15 minutes i hung up and called back. I wanted to adjust my reservation by 1 day and they were not able to do that. They had to cancel my reservation and remake a new one. This took over 30 minutes in total
1. They the site is no help/good (filters) you have to call in
2. They still have no info on rooms
3. Double charge my credit card
4. I was told it looks like that one of the charges will fall off... both charges posted
5. Call back to inform them that both charges posted REP act like something was wrong with phone and it hung up... I called back and they are still saying that one of them was cancelled like I can't see that both of them posted then the REP said the money will be back in my account in 30 days...
I accidentally cancelled a reservation thinking it was a duplicate (there were 2 Hyatt hotels involved and several rooms). 2 seconds later I realised the mistake and tried to reverse the cancellation. Called customer service but could not get through to a human being. Charged $548 for the mistake. Do not ever book through GetARoom.

For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.

There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
