Yes it is true that I have receive a faulty Xiaomi product but the refunding process is easier and faster than I thought. I told the support named Bella what had happened to my item and she arranged full refund to me after two email communications.
I have done several purchases on Geekbuying and most of them are pleasant experiences. This is actually my first time received an item that not working as expected. The after sale support acted quickly to make it up so their effort is highly appreciated. Keep all the good work and ideally a better quality control on all your products.
Bought an electric scooter, cheaper than anywhere in Europe. Unfortunately, was too heavy for me, so I made an service ticket, talked with the support, send the scooter back to Poland and got my money back. Smooth, no obstacles. You have to buy a extra option of returning the item within Europe, insurance is also recommended.
This site took my payment and never updated my order status. When I emailed them two weeks later, they said my product was out of stock indefinitely and I could order something else or have a refund. I asked for refund, and they ceased communicating with me. Meanwhile, the product I ordered is still being offered on their site and had even gone on sale... how is it on sale if is not available? Terrible customer service and fraudulent business practices, lots of bad reviews mixed in with their good ones, but many shady sites submit positive reviews for themselves to try and swindle your trust. Recommend not using them.
My order has been "processing" well beyond the stated shipping time and so I emailed asking that if the order had not already shipped (since I paid extra for "registered airmail"), to cancel the order and refund me. I received no response until 1.5 days later: Instead of replying to my email, they send automated email shipment notice, ignoring my request. Also, live chat is provided for new order / sales only. For existing orders, customers must send email in which case they don't respond. I will not buy from Geekbuying ever again and will instead use Banggood which has a much better website and turnaround.
All reviews underneath me are from accounts made by people at this company, as they have only made one review, the grammar in them uses consistently incorrect English and they have done the same on other sites.

I was not good at English, mailed support while using translation software, but it was greatly appreciated for being able to respond properly.
Set items are reasonable price.
In other sites I think that it is very convenient because the optional 2 in 1 pc keyboard sells it as a set.
1. You will not get any customer support if something will go wrong (support consultant Dora, uses canned responses and doesn't try to solve your issue)
2. If you need to return the goods IT will COST 32$
3. Vendor decreases the invoice amount without agreement (possible problems with customs)
4. Vendor can change 'Product Lead-time:' after your payment, be careful
So I bought a laptop from them and paid with PayPal. And it's been pending like crazy since I made the payment.
Their excuses were
1) haven't received any payment
2) their staff were sleeping
3) having no clue about the payment and I should contact PayPal and the bank myself
Etc.
So, now I asked them to cancel the order instead because it's ridiculous. PayPal people told me it might take 1-2 days for recipient to get the money; it's been more than a week.
I also made a review on the other website, they were pretending to be helpful but when I contact them personally, it's always something.
Just cancel my order already.

I spent over $150 on this order that was shipped two months ago but now shows as lost. I've ordered from them before but will never do it again. The refuse to send a replacement or refund my money. My credit card company reject my dispute before this is a Chinese company. The customer service was very rude despite the fact the me and my friends were looking to order a lot more stuff. I ordered a camera which arrived with a damaged lens. 7 emails later they said they would refund $10-$20. I haven't seen a dime. It was like pulling teeth just to get a return authorized. Life's too short to deal with crooks like this. Please don't let the low prices attract you to them because customer service is absolutely terrible.

Don't trust the 5 star reviews here or anywhere, most of them (if not all of them) are fake, just read few words and you'll understand what I mean.
I bought an Android TV box and keyboard for 150 USD on September 2017. After more than a month I received the product but it didn't work. They asked me to ship it back (on my account) which I did. I had to wait another month+ until they received the product back. It took them another two weeks to ship, and another month to deliver (arrived on January 2018). The new shipment is also defective. Now they stopped answering my mails and I'm stuck with TV box that doesn't work. The agent that handled the case was Jessie my Order Number: is #*******. I would never trust them with my money, there are other Chinese sites with better customer service out there.
I bought a mobile from them. After 6 months it could not be charged.
Geekbuying suggested to give me $20 as fee for repairing (which makes more sense actually), or sent it back to them (somewhere in China) for repairing and I had to pay for delivery and tariff (in total almost $100), which I did.
The phone was sent to them on Dec 2021, arrived china on Feb, 2022. And they forgot to take it for months! I asked them like 10 times, so frustrating...
The mobile is still in delivery, pretty much several kms away from their office.
Do not what happened. And I do not want to think about it.
But lesson learned, never buy from Geekbuying.
It may look cheap, but cost much more than you can think of.

Ordered something for Christmas two months ago. As of today I do not have the product, I dont have any kind of tracking information, and no hope for a refund either. There was no indication on the website that it would take longer than a month to arrive. I have heard back from customer service, but they only keep telling me that they are looking into it. Im pretty sure they just keep hoping I forget about it and MoveOn. This website is a total scam!
Supplied defective Xiaomi scooters - brake issues which caused safety issue from day 1. Based in China with slow, unresponsive and deceitful CS service. Refusing to collect and refund scooters.

After writing bad reviews here, on their YouTube video of the product and on a couple of other review sites they finally refund my money and asked me to delete the reviews! But it took months for that to happen. Still I advise you not to buy anything from them.

I've ordered a small drone from them 3 months ago, but it never arrived. I've requested my money back, but didn't got them. All that their customer support says is that they can't return my money, because the package may arrive after a few more months! So in the end - no money and no drone.

I have purchased 5 times from Geekbuying and it has been an excellent experience so far. They have a great variety of products and the competitive pricing. For smaller items delivery through TNT is quite fast. For larger orders, it will take a while to reach through registered email (usually within 20-30 days).
For any one who is ordering from UAE, word of advice, please make sure to send it an address with a PO box. If you mail it to an address without a PO Box, then the order will be returned to home country.
