I got an iPhone16 in Sept 2024, and the Verizon person recommended GadgetGuard, so we paid $50+ for it. It cracked within two weeks. Unfortunately I was overseas, so had to wait until I came home at Christmas to replace. I order it - but it took 2 weeks to arrive, for a $10 shipping and handling fee (seems excessive for a 2 oz product sent via the cheapest shipping method). I installed it and in less than a week it cracked again! Do not buy this product!
Not only does this product not keep it's promises, but the glue damages other areas of your phone. Minor issues are Constant Fingerprints, just shocking and touch sensitivity issues. I wanted my money back $50 and because I bought it at US Cellular, I can only get another liquid Guard, like I really want to do that. There is also a tendency to rip the face off your iPhone. I am sorry it was ever put on and I never had a chance to say otherwise.
Registering a screen protector with Gadget Guard is necessary for those that are hard on their mobile devices. It is especially useful for young people that don't realize the full value of taking care of their devices yet. Gadget Guard has saved our phones more than once for each phone! It really is guarding our gadgets!
I purchased the liquid screen protector from gadget guard with a lifetime warranty and a year and 2 months later I dropped my phone and cracked the screen and now they will not stand behind the warranty only offering me a discount code for new product. Do not buy this product it is not worth it. I paid a lot of money for that liquid glass protector and the lifetime warranty for nothing.
Absolutely love these Guards. I love how everyone works together to make sure you're satisfied with your order and to answer any and all questions. Only thing I'd change is getting Guard to customer faster. Keep up the great work. You guys are awesome
My first one got damaged ordered another came right away thought shipping was a little pricey at $9.95 but I guess it's better than paying full price. However when something says it has a lifetime warranty it should also state plainly the standard cost of the shipping charge! Instead of a vague statement made in very fine print on the back of the package. Especially since it was just shipped strapped to a piece of cardboard instead original packaging a charge of $4.95 or $5.95 would have been a more reasonable price. In the future I will buy a different product as other brands offer a better and cheaper warranty.
A lifetime guarantee comes with the cell phone screen protector. However, you have to pay for the shipping at a cost of $7.99 each. I had 2 screens to replace. The packages arrived in thin cardboard envelopes not much thicker than a paper envelope. Both screens were completely shattered. I paid $7.99 each this packaging, seriously?
I contacted the company and they would not refund my money; but, they did agree to send out 2 more with "a bit" more packaging. They arrived undamaged. I give 3 stars for customer service only.
I love this product and the company. Handled all of my needs or concerns in a timely, friendly, painless manner. They have excellent customer service and stand by their word. We had a screen break while this product was on it (not because of a simple drop. My daughter actually fell off her bike, with phone in hand, and hit the pavement pretty hard) but Gadget Guard stepped up to the plate and gave us everything we needed to have it replaced. And they paid for the repair as soon as it was done (I was aware of their replacement policy before I filed a claim. Gadget Guard clearly states there is only 1 free screen replacement, if the issue comes up, while using their product. So I was well aware of the fact that if I still wanted warranty coverage on the new screen I would have to purchase another screen protector). The only thing I would like to see change are the shipping charges. It's gone up almost $4 over the years (but so has everything else). Other than that, they are wonderful.
Install video did not match the layers of the packaged screen protector. Install failed and screen protector 'chipped' near camera opening. Ordered a replacement - for another $10 shipping. Maybe a second try will be better. Also, the registration process seemed detached from sales. I ordered the product directly from Gadget Guard. They asked for a copy of the sales receipt, what type of phone, etc. All this info should have been readily available. Frustrating.
Hi Gary, we are sorry for any trouble you have had with installation. I believe we have identified your order and will be reaching out to help. Additionally, we know it is a bit redundant to reenter information that was supplied at the time of your order, but please note that you were registering the limited phone screen warranty and per the insurance company that backs that warranty, we must get all device specific information from you at the time of registration. We hope you understand! If you do not hear from us soon regarding your install, please reach out to our Customer Support Team at support@gadgetguard.com.
Recently was upgraded from tempered glass to a flex screen protector. With out my approval I just reorder a protector after I broke one as usual and the upgraded flex glass showed up. First one had one medium size bubble near the center of the screen. No big deal but the when I replaced that one even more bubbles this time there on the edge in opposite corners and won't go away phone case or no phone case. I even left the case off for the days and still the bubbles appear. Later I contacted gadget guard and after a back and forth with some one named Robyn given me ten excuses of how I probably didn't install it correctly. I get a follow up email asking if I want my old tempered glass protector that I originally bought and constantly reorder because I never had a bubble problem with. Finally the last email I got is the one telling me that I have to write this review in order to get my free replacement screen protector so here I am.
Hey Bryce, thank you for providing your feedback. We do see that you were helped by Robyn who did not mention to leave this review but we are happy that you did so it could be brought to our attention. Our Flex is a superior product to tempered glass, it is not prone to cracking like the tempered glass can and provides even better protection for your screen. We do understand it can be a bit trickier to install, though, so we do recommend that our customers take that to their local wireless store for help with that because they have a lot of experience with the installations. We're happy to see that she was able to send you the tempered glass Cornice Edition and we hope that does provide a much better experience for you. Please don't hesitate to email again if you have any other questions or concerns, we strive to provide great experiences and answers and solutions to any questions or concerns and we appreciate when we are given the option to do this. Have a wonderful rest of your day!
My whole experience has been pretty good. The customer support is very helpful and understanding. My screen broke so I ordered a replacement, it came in a decent amount of time. Unfortunately, it came broken so I can't even use it. It was bent during shipment because the only thing keeping it from bending was a piece of cardboard, which clearly didn't work.
Received product in a timely matter. Had these protector screens on my previous phones. Easy application, got bubbles due to lint, use tape provided to remove and there you have a perfect install. I've tried other less expensive brands thinking to save money and always had issues (deficiencies, edges not sticking) and looking at your phone everyday it's well worth the price!
From order day to receiving it in the mail, took 4 days. I was happy it arrived so quickly.
Love my gadget guard 2.0. Saved my phone 2 times now. I'm very happy with them.
They totally honor their warranty. I only pay for shipping 10 bucks. This glass cover retails for $50. At stores.
I had absolutely not trouble ordering a replacement when mine cracked! Super quick and easy. The product itself has done a great job of protecting my phone screen from cracking. Definitely worth the price.
I think the shipping charge is too high for this light weight product. Should be more like Free or under $2 bucks. It also did not prevent my phone screen from cracking in several places. Now I need to replace that as well.
Have used Gadget Guard on previous phones. It has saved them from damage on several occasions. The Company stands behinds it's warranty with no hassle replacement if screen protector needs to be replaced.
Glass screen protectors are worth the extra cost. Would not purchase through gadgetguard again though. Warranty replacement prices keep going up. Highly recommend Zagg instead, their prices stay consistent.
Shipped timely, it was a holiday weekend so took a cpl extra days but made the two day shipping even more worth it in a way. This is the second replacement I've gotten and am very happy to have the ability to replace these when they break. They work too! Unless your phone gets run over like mine did (lol)
The lifetime guarantee and warranty protection is worth every penny. I have had to use this a few times because my teenage daughter is very hard on her phone. I will always buy gadget guard for this reason.
This was super easy to get on and so far has worked! First one had a crack within a week of purchase, but was replaced at no cost (other than shipping).
Answer: Yes. I just replaced mine, for free and free shipping too. The replacement arrived broken so I reached out to Gadget Guard and they sent ANOTHER replacement for the replacement completely for free with zero hassle. As long as you register your original purchased protector screen within the time frame allotted they will replace them for free. Definitely worth the initial investment. Their customer service has been really helpful and quick in my personal experience. I will continue to do business with them.

Thank you, Gadget Guard
Answer: Hi Farhad! We are certainly happy to help! Due to the privacy afforded on this review site, we are unable to see your specific information. I am concerned if you have sent 3 emails and we have not responded! We strive to respond as quickly as possible, but never longer than 2 business days. Please make sure you are emailing us at support@gadgetguard.com. Our Customer Support Team will be happy to help! Thanks, Gadget Guard
Answer: Legit company, they honored the lifetime warranty and replaced my screen protector with a new one for no charge.
Gadget Guard has a rating of 2.7 stars from 1,584 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Gadget Guard most frequently mention next day and verizon store. Gadget Guard ranks 6th among Gadgets sites.
Hi Belinda,
We are sorry that you feel we do not stand behind our warranty. The reason a claim could not be filed is that your guard was not registered. Registration is required for our GuardPlus warranties because we are covering not only the guard but your phone screen as well. Because we are covering the actual phone screen we need the phone information for what is being covered under the warranty.
We do hope you will reconsider the discount code offered once your phone screen has been repaired and our Customer Support Agents would be happy to help register so the same thing does not happen again.
Thank you,
Gadget Guard
