I took a chance and bought a cosplay mask for my kids Halloween costume. Given that it came from China I was honestly amazed it arrived as quickly as it did, about 2 weeks. Unfortunately it was literally tossed in a shipping bag with no padding so it arrived broken. Asked for a refund but not getting my hopes up. At least spend a ton of money on it. All in all it could have been worse.

Heard back from the seller within a couple hours of requesting a refund. They are refunding me no questions asked. Now I'll just have to wait 4-5 business days to see if I do get my money back.
This site is NOT trustworthy. I only give one star, because you cannot give none, and still write a review! The items they advertise seldom if ever arrive as shown on the ads. They are based in China and only give any refund if the buyer pays return postage, which often costs as much as, if not more than, the original purchase. Check the Google reviews to see numerous examples of appalling quality goods as well as deceptive practises. I would not recommend FRUUGO to my worst enemy!
I ordered a tee-shirt from the site and while my email confirmation could not be "tracked" with the blue bar provided? My shirt arrived within 2 weeks- right color, right size. Was NOT a tee shirt for say, a rabbit or an infant. I'd order again.
What was supposed to be a fun gift for my partner's 50 ends up being a little sad. This TP was advertised with a gift box, but instead I ended up with a -ty grey plastic envelope from some warehouse in China. I'm wondering who thought that would be fun. Beyond disappointed.
I bought what I believed was a swimming pool ladder and received a single very expensive step of the ladder. I know this has happened to at least one other customer very recently for exactly the same item.
The Returns Policy promises returns for any reason within 14 days of receipt. All attempts for nearly two weeks to log a return/ cancellation of the order have got me nowhere. The website is dysfunctional, and it seems to deliberately make it difficult to contact them.
UPDATE: After telling Fruugo I had posted three negative reviews and would initiate a credit card chargeback procedure, I received an email saying I would be refunded. If so, credit where it's due, upgrade to three stars.
Ordered $360 worth mower spindles. Advertised free shipping. Through Fruugo... We received warning from AVG virus checker, tracking number was false and a scam. Received notification, products returned to supplier by shipping claiming the products were damaged. A false claim. It would be nearly impossible to damage the steel and alloy product. Selling company is a fraudulent scam advertising lower prices than opposition to take your money. Fruugo immediately refunded the money. Thanks Fruugo
Really can't understand all the negative reviews delivered a few days earlier than specified and product led grow light from china was exactly as described panicked whenI read all the bad reviews but honestly my experience was very good a satisfied customer
I ordered an artificial lemon tree. The size of the plant was about right, but the lemons are tiny and it is generally different from the picture.Not complete thrash, though. Would I order from them again? The jury is still out on that.
I ordered my products on 21st January Today is 14th March. They are still in China and the site says it can take up to 14 business days. I will not be using this company again

Product I've bought it's ok, also shipping time, probably they try to step up a little, but deceiving shipping costs. I bought my items from.ca, thinking that I'm buying local, shipping cost a little bit high but ok, just to be charged at the door by the delivery company another shipping cost even higher that the quoted one. Not cool, when I'm buying, I punch in my address so you know where I'm buying from, why don't you just quote me the real shipping price right at the bat? Deceiving, Unlike any other seller I dealt with…will not buy again from this site ever, even if it gets 5+ stars from 1 billion satisfied customers
Long story short. 2 months later. Rec wrong item. Was damaged. Would refund Only If I return to CHINA at my cost. Takes a week to get a reply to every concern. Still unresolved. Disputing charges on my visa.
As mentioned others, bad experience. As their reply, shipment missing. I have seen that many people got same experience. It seems that this is scam site. Can't we do any legal action against them? They publish advertisement on google as well.
Can anyone give idea, how we should take any action against them to band this trader. At lease it will help other people. Must punish this type of cheaters
I purchased a pair of women's boots for my daughter at a cost of £54.00 they looked nothing like the picture they was just cheap thin plastic boots not even worth £10.00 but when buying from china remember that if you want to return the item it is going to cost you a small fortune I had to pay £22.00 to return them so in total the boot have cost me £76.00 I'll stick to the high street from now on.
You buy a product from China and find out that Fruugo is handling the delivery. You expect it to be delivered within the time limit promised but then NO! It takes more time, then they say the delivery services "tried to contact you", that it is my fault because "maybe I put down the wrong phone number or address". But NO, all my details were correct, but no one tried to call my phone, noone came to my house, none what so ever communication. And still they try to put it on me.
Worst buying experience, stay away from Fruugo at all costs
Purchased one slime with $34 and shipping method is air. I was told by the website the delivery time is 7 to 10 days. But 42 days still received nothing. Customer service is horrible and not helpful, just asks me to wait and be patient. Every time same format of reply. I originally thought it was written by a machine. Product actually was sent from china after the purchase, not locally. Misleading information from the website. Bad experience and not trustworthy website. Never buy again!
Stick to eBay or Amazon. Avoid, avoid, avoid Fruugo. And then avoid it some more. Photo's don't match item quality in any respect and you will be disappointed. Item I have is also damaged with no uk plug… it is horrible and also useless. Then you can try to return the item. But find that the postage to China (my experience) takes a fair whack out of the original cost. Then what if the seller claims the didn't receive it? I can find no buyer protection policy similar to that Amazon and eBay provide. Don't waste your hard earned money here.
I placed an order with Fruugo, had to wait two weeks for it to arrive. When it did its the wrong item. When asked about a refund, they said I have to deal with supplier in China and I have to pay for return postage.
I get penalized for their mistake. Will definitely not be dealing with this company!

I returned my full order mid January and am still waiting for a refund, very slow to react to emails sent. Apparently the office was closed when my return was delivered which is very odd as well. Very disappointed and definitely not worth ordering from them
If I could give less than 1 star review I would... Ordered 2 and a half months ago, followed up repeatedly and was eventually told today that our package was destroyed by the Courier because we failed to sign for it! We never received any notification or call from any Courier, despite our persistent enquiry and correspondence with the Fruugo Help Desk. This company is useless and steals money from innocent consumers. Do NOT buy from Fruugo - we most definitely will never again.
