I became a member of this website because of the supposed 10% cashback.
It was all piling up nicely, until it came time to pay out.
They demanded that I show them transaction receipts, actually, here is the email...

I use multiple other cashback sites with no problem at all, as a matter of fact, the more times I use their affiliate link and they are compensated, they are very happy about it.
Freeshipping does receive compensation and this is their way of keeping the entire compensation received from the retailers and not paying you!
They even charged me for another month of membership on the same day that they "locked" my account from further use.
They did refund that, how nice of them after they made hundreds of dollars off of me!

This company decided to charge my debit card $13. I had never heard of this company before and had never seen their website before either. When I saw the charge on my bank account I contacted the scammer AND filed a fraud report with my bank.
Scammer company told me that months ago when I placed an order for a Land's End ladies top I had also checked the FreeShipping.com box to allow them to charge me. I never did any such thing. I almost always make purchases on Amazon and had never come across anything like this before.
I complained to the scammer company about this and they promised to refund my money. Well they never did but my bank did. My bank sent me a letter telling me they had taken care of it and that FreeShipping.com indeed is a scam.
Because my bank has a lot of security features to protect customers, my debit card was cancelled. However, I wasn't aware of this until I saw an email that said I had requested a new card. I hadn't. After discussing this horrible ordeal with my bank's customer service representative I was told that I had opted to receive text messages every time I purchased anything. If I was the one who made the purchase I wouldn't need to respond but if I didn't, I am supposed to respond with a "NO". I never received the message so of course I didn't respond and my bank proceeded to issue a new card. I haven't received it yet and changing debit cards has become a hassle for me.
So thanks to FreeShipping.com, I can't use the debit card I've had for many years and have to wait for the new one to arrive. I have no access to cash until then. My bank doesn't have a branch anywhere near me.
What a freaking hassle.
Please be very careful when you purchase anything online and look at your checking account often in case there is an odd transaction you don't recognize.

Hi. I was looking for a job earlier today when I stumbled across this listing in craiglist http://manila.craigslist.com.ph/csr/*******276.html (I am in the Philippines looking for a home-based job)
I sent my resume and I immediately received a reply from a certain Paul Wexler asking for my skype details so we can discuss the job. Basically, I am a stay at home sales agent and my role is to have customers sign up for these 'gift cards' and other 'deals' by utilizing the scripts he sent to my email. I received the scripts and went through it and it all just sounds like a scam. It's basically a sales pitch and rebuttals and terms & conditions for different products like Energy Savings Solutions, Great Fun, Shoppers Advantage and Safe Data Trust & Stealth. I also saw FreeShipping somewhere in there. It is in PDF format but it has got to be the most notorious looking file I have received from a 'business company'. It's just a bunch of photocopied documents and it's obvious that these photocopies have been photocopied again and again because some pages are unreadable. Now, the part where my inner 'scam alarm' sounded was the part where I have to get a customer's credit card number, CVV and expiry date. I have worked for Bell Canada, AT&T and HP and I am not new to processing credit cards. Those 3 companies take care of your information! This one, I highly doubt it! These people are hiring people on the other side of the world and they expect them to collect credit card information! Stay away from Energy Savings Solutions, Great Fun, Shoppers Advantage and Safe Data Trust & Stealth and any other affiliated companies with them. I won't go into more details. Free trial period is a scam - no refunds unless you are a paying subscriber. Don't do it!
I am an very experienced buyer through Ebates / Coupon Cabin / Shop at Home / Fat Wallet.
Freeshipping.com is a sham! They make you jump through hoops and not one of over 20 purchases were automatically processed, "all" of the sites I listed above are "no hassle" once you set up and let them know where to send your check. I just cancelled with them today because the paperwork for each transaction is ridiculous and they charge you as well.
The others mentioned are very reliable and honest companies by the way, I check who has the best percentage and use them all, but I do buy quite a bit online. If you do not you may want to pick one. They all give percentages without you paying anything, no shipping re-imbursements however, but they are free to use and very reliable. So sorry I gave them an honest chance!
