I don't even know your company and did not even apply to become a member( as I've seen in your company profile) but I just saw that you'd charged me in my account in the amount of $12.97. I don't understand how so many people are giving bad reviews based simply on the fact that they did not read what they were signing up for. It is CLEARLY stated that you get 30 days free trial membership and after that, there is a monthly subscription fee. Some people are even posting that the company has been "ripping them off" for years. How can you not notice a monthly recurring charge on your credit card is beyond me...

I signed up for the 30 days trial when I was directed from another purchase I made. I created the account and submitted the rebate information to get the rebate back for my shipping. I canceled the membership before the trial was up as I did not really need it. I was very surprised to actually see the check come in the mail a couple of weeks after my submissions even though I had canceled my membership before they charged anything. They held true to their word and I'm considering signing up for them again.

Scam site, do not use
September 10, 2023

I never even used the site to begin with, but, of course that didn't stop them from somehow getting my bank card number. I received a charge of 19$ for no reason, so, of course, I had to have my card blocked and tomorrow (as of this posting) I will need to call my bank to reverse the charges and get a new card in the mail. How wonderful.

Was satisfied with freeshipping.com for a couple of years but as more free shipping was offered by online sites value of membership at freeshipping.com declined. Limit of $10 per rebate request was also a reason to drop. Most disappointing was seeing more rebate requests rejected inspite of providing same type of order confirmation documentation that previously had been accepted.

I don't know how I was subscribed to this website, and I was not aware that I would be charged for membership, I even haven't received an email from them although they charged a membership fee for 2 years! Most importantly, you get nothing from this "membership"! Basically, they will trick you to "subscribe" and then disappear from your life, so you will never know you are their members!

Charged fees

I thought this was a deal from an item I bought, didn't know it was a sep. Company, I got charged thirteen dollars and didn't even use this company. I'm told the money can't be refunded because it's pending but it was taken from account already. It looks like I'm not the only one that got robbed by them,

STAY AWAY!

I purchased parts from Sears and noticed an offer of a $10 rebate for trying this service. I received the information from them and noticed that the service was going to be billed at $12.97 per month. I cancelled immediately, but was charged $1.97 for my trial 7-day period. Because I cancelled immediately, my trial period turned out to be one day, and they now have no record of my account. No rebate, even though it was promised, but I still had $1.97 charged to my account for NOTHING! BEWARE! Do not sign up for this. Even though I received an email stating that my account was cancelled, I will still be checking my credit card statement carefully for any $12.97 charges.

I don't know why all the bad reviews. I shop alot online and rarely pay for shipping. I get a check like clockwork from these folks every 3 months and it more than pays for the $12.97 a month membership charge. They also pay to ship back and item. I like them so far. No complaints.

Too many restrictions

This used to be a reasonable service at 12.99 a month, they increased the cost to 19.99 and have so many restrictions, it's like they are looking to for reasons not to give you their 10% cash back. I was a member for about 7 years, then they raised the price without telling me (They did the same to a friend). I would not recommend this service to a friend.

What even is this.

I don't know what I've signed up for or how this has my account info but I was just now able to cancel my "membership" that I don't even remember signing up for. I even called my bank to figure out where this transaction was coming from every month and the only thing they could do was cancel my card until I figured out it was coming from this website. This sight is useless and a huge scam.

Worst customer service
October 1, 2021

I saw 2 payments taken from my account. Called and spoke with a guy just now who was rude and would not allow me to complete a sentence. Stated he did a refund. I tried asking if refund was for both payments and he ended the call. How can you take money from my account and I did not even give you my banking info. My info is on Groupon. Not your site. Bunk of crooks.

Scam scam scam

I was billed tonight almost 13 dollars from freeshipping.com and they said that that I bought something at big lots which I didnt... I never received an email about a trial offer about anything! I called and they refused to refund me... stay away I believe that this is a credit card scheme... I will be contacting big lots and then my bank if it doesn't add up

I am having to change my single bank account card so these idiots can not charge anything to me. Since I have a joint bank account and another single bank account, I will keep both accounts open at my bank. The single account which they think they are going to charge me every month will stay open, but I am cancelling my bank card for that account and will receive a new bank card in the mail in about 5-7 days. No problem since I transferred with the click of a button all the monies in my single account to my joint account or I can simply withdraw it. All this will be done prior to me attempting to cancel before the 30-day subscription is over. Take that! Dirty Rotten Scam Artists!

I am freeshipping.com subscriber since a long time. I am buying a lot online so after paying monthly fee it still worked for me. I trusted this website, because in the beginning I was receiving all rebates and bonuses until I started control all submitted claims, some of them disappeared! Except of free shipping they also offer rebate ( 5% or 10 %) and you can see in your account that you earned additional money but what a surprise after a few weeks: your money on your account also disappeared. They already were there but they lowered rebate after a fact, just before your check should be send.
They ignore emails they don' like.
I hope their website also will disappear when so many good websites offer free shipping without monthly fee. This website will not stand competition playing so not fair.
Do not sign to this website! This is not honest and not ethical company!

Total Fraud

I had one small charge on my credit card that I didn't make. Then my CC called me about a $12,97 charge. I promptly got new cards issued. Thanks to the vigilance of my CC company. Do not know how they got my CC number. The overwhelming tone of the reviews is the same as mine.

I signed up for their free trial and they delivered as promised. Even had the professional courtesy to contact me when they realized they had the wrong address. I do not shop enough to justify a subscription. As long as you shop enough with the qualified sites and are discipline enough every time, it'll work out.

Sneaky tactics

I just noticed 2 freeshipping.com charges on my bank statement. I did not knowingly sign up for this and I am very careful about what I sign up for. I called the number on the website to cancel and asked how it happened. The cust. Service rep said I would have signed up for one thing and didnt read the fine print. This seems like a scam but everything I read says it's legit. I don't even understand how the site works

Don't know how they got my info or how I signed up. Never heard of these people until they started charging fees on my card. Having to cancel my card because though they say my membership has canceled they continue to charge. Last I heard you had to provide some type of info to become a member of anything. Not these guys, stay away!

I don't even remember signing up for them... It looked like it is a scam but when I called it conformed that it was not a good company to deal with. When I told them that I don't remember signing up with u guys and I haven't received any service or goods from you so that I have to pay. So I want my $12.97 refunded to my account. The customer service (Alba that's what I heard as her name) did not helped me and respond me in a very lazy manner as if she just woke up from her bed. I would like to give you minus 5 stars for your service and company.
