When I found this website I thought it was too good to be true. Excellent produce for reasonable prices for those of us who have been drooling over originals for years. Lori, in customer service is ROCK solid. She was prompt, clear and send e-mails and confirmation as we spoke. The process was seamless and the product even better.
I bought six chairs and everyone comments on how great they are. I love the mid century style and how comfortable they are. I have had them for six years and they still look like new. Great quality
Make sure you understand the return policy. The shipping is not free if the item is returned for any reason. WE BOUGHT A LAMP WHICH WE RETURNED DAMAGED AND THEY CHARGED US SHIPPING. It cost us $173 to return a damaged item.
As per France and Son's Return Policy, the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs (return and outbound). The return shipping cost is the buyers responsibility, and the outbound will be deducted from the final refund. Additionally, the buyer is responsible for arrangement of return shipment with the carrier of his/her choice.
Ordered 4 kitchen counter height stools. They look great, appear to be of excellent quality, and are comfortable.
Recommend highly. We did not have any issues with shipping.
I bought a black metal grid chair from France and Son, i couldnt find it anywhere else in that color for such a great price. It came quickly was easy to put together and a real statement piece, theres about a million other things i love on their site, a great selection of modern furniture.
I recently bought the France & Son version of the Eames Hang-It-All, and I'm very happy with it. The dimensions are very close to the "real thing," but the price is far more suited to my budget. I write a modern design blog, and I have several nice vintage items. This piece fits right in and looks great. For the money, you can't go wrong.
We recently started shopping for a new piece of furniture and was very pleased with France and Son's. Their on-line chat option was easy to use and very helpful, plus their pricing was great.

We bought the Wegner reproduction chairs for our dining room around 6 months ago. It's our weekend house, so they don't get a lot of use, but the quality of construction and the wood is true to the style of the actual Wegner chairs (at 3x the price). The only issue I have is with the quality of the vinyl on the seat cover. It does cheapen the chairs a bit. I'm hoping that with some wear they will look a bit more authentic. I've seen other reviews discussing double charging, poor delivery, etc. We had no problems. I am skeptical about buying furniture online, and this was not different. I took a chance and I'm glad it worked out.
At first my experience with France and Sons was a very positive one, fast shipment, products excellent, great customer service, but after my 6th time ordering from them, they had doubled charged my credit card for one item. I called customer service assuming they would drop one of the pending transactions, but after speaking to several customer service agents as well as having contact with their accounting department, they gave me the run around and claimed they never double charged my credit card and were not going to drop any pending transactions because they did not see the double charges on their end. Needless to say, the double charges appeared on my bank statement online which prompted me to file a claims dispute with my bank against France and Sons... my bank stated that France and Sons has legally by law one week to drop the pending charge and once that week is up if France and Sons has not taken care of the matter, then my bank will issue me the credit and France and Sons will have to deal with my banks claims dispute department! Make sure you file a claims dispute with your bank or credit card company to prevent France and Sons from collecting funds from your credit card illegally if you ever encounter the same situation that I had been in... and stay far away from this store! I will never, ever shop at France and Sons again!
The selection online is huge so I was able to find just the credenza I wanted, but you can also see a lot in person at the storefront. (It's really nice to see your options in person in a beautiful environment.) And they were super helpful when I called to work out the shipping details.
Had an absolutely wonderful experience ordering through France and Son. The order arrived faster than any other piece of furniture I have ever ordered and is exactly as it appears online. Their customer service was on point to answer any and all questions. Really appreciate the service and quality of the goods.
F & S has a great selection of classic lighting designs. Quality is great and the pricing is outstanding. As a lighting design professional this is important.

Best prices on the Internet and excellent customer service, can't wait to go into the store this weekend to meet Jason to make my purchase.
I stopped in to France and Son for the first time and was pleasantly greeted by Jason who was extremely helpful and attentive. The eclectic selection of home furnishings and lighting will indulge any design pallet.
We bought a totallly cool digital light for our wall and a stainless digital wall clock. The webesite was super easy to use. Delivery was on time, and more important, we got a terrific deal. France and Son keeps in touch via email with online specials that are killer good, especially their dailly special. I high recommend these guys if you are looking for hip, unique home decor.

We received the rocking chair we bought very quickly... only took a few days. It was well packaged and assembled already in the box. The chair is not Eames but has similar quality... very comfortable and modern looking.!
